I cannot say enough good things about the staff at All Creatures! Dr. Filgo treated my cats cancer and was SO caring and helpful throughout the whole process. I'm very grateful for the extra few months he was able to give us with her. Sadly, my sweet Ty passed away. Dr. Smith cared for her in her last moments and it touched my heart hearing his kind words and how gentle he was with my girl. We have recently adopted a new kitten and will back to All Creatures! Love the staff at All Creatures. They are always so nice and accommodating. Dr. Summers is the best. She has a great disposition and always takes time to explain everything in a comforting way. She is good with both of my little dogs and they are always happy to see her. My last visit, my hands were full, two dogs and one of the vet techs offered an extra hand at helping me get my dogs in the car. He was extremely nice and helpful. I can not say enough about the compassion I was shown from Dr. Camp when my sweet Rusty had to be put to sleep. She showed so much empathy and compassion. I really appreciated that. Great facility and even better staff - we are especially fond of Dr. Conner Smith! We have a very temperamental calico cat we call "Fat Gumbo" who was anything but pleased to be visiting the vet. However, Dr. Smith was nothing but extraordinary. Fat Gumbo left her appointment purring - we didn't even think she could purr any more #miracleworker. Friendly and fast service. My vet recommended that I board my puppy at All Creatures Animal Care Center in Madison for the weekend while I was out of town. This was my first mistake. During the time my puppy was boarded at All Creatures, she hurt/cut her front paws and developed a bacterial infection (most likely because she was left in her own feces). I noticed when I picked her up that she was limping. I washed her paws since they were clearly hurt and smelled like dog urine/poop. I contacted All Creatures as soon as they opened and sent them pictures of her front paws. They said they had to see her again in order to recommend treatment. I also contacted my vet at Gluckstadt Animal Hospital. He made a few suggestions of things I could do at home to give her some comfort and help her paws. My vet thought from the pictures that they were infected and suggested that I either bring her to him or take her back to All Creatures since she was injured under their care. In an effort to let All Creatures "make things right," I took her back to their clinic. I told them that I did not think I should have to pay for this since it happened under their care and that I wanted to give them the opportunity to do the right thing and help my puppy. The technician weighed my dog and told me she was going to take her temperature and she would be right back. She did not return for at least 15-20 minutes. When the tech came back in the room, I asked what they had done and she told me the doctor would be in to tell me. The vet came in with several prescriptions and told me she had run a test and the paws were infected and it was a bacterial infection. I thought they were going to take her temperature. No one ever told me that a test would be run nor discussed with me treatment options. They escorted me out and then asked me for $104. I told them that I shouldn't have to pay because this happened under their care. They said they wouldn't charge me for the visit but that I had to pay for the medicine which was $104. They never offered to refund my boarding fee. I am furious with the lack of professionalism and the fact that I was robbed. The pediatrician doesn't take your child out of the room and run test without asking nor do they hand you a ton of medicine without discussing treatment options. The vet's lack of communication was very unprofessional. No test should have been run on my animal without first discussing it with me. Further, medication should not have been prescribed without discussing it with me. I highly recommend that you consider using another clinic to board and/or treat your animal based on my experience.Read Less

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful All Creatures is/was because, my sister, Madison works there and has told me about every procedure from tick removal to uncommon surgeries. Not only did we meet our beloved feline Jolene the Beauty Queen, but Madison has also taught Jolene how to say please, thank you, and common greeting phrases in Spanish! Being a modern-day rodent whisper, Madison will travel to Starkville, MS with her four fish, three rabbits, 12 earthworms, 6 stuffed animals, and her puppy Gunny to exceed above and beyond everyone's expectations for an interview with the veterinary school at Mississippi State! My husband and I just moved to Madison, MS from San Diego in late May 2013. Two weeks before our move our Basset/Lab mix was daignosed with Addison's disease and we were informed that he needs monthly treatments for the rest of his life. So besides moving and house shopping I had to find a vet...and fast. I poured over all the listings on Yelp and Angie's List and choose All Creatures. They have several vererinarians in the office and ours is Lyndsay Summers. She examined Bugsy (the Addison's disease patient) and offered treatment options that my California vet never told me about. She also informed me about the fleas and ticks in Mississippi and I left with treatment for all three dogs. The next week I brought in our incontinent arthritic shih-tzu. Dr. Summers gave her a full examination and tweaked her arthritis medication a little. During all my office vists and phone calls the staff has always been very helpful and friendly.
