Dr. Roberts cares for animals and the people who own them. He is very compassionate. He will do all he can for your animals that finances will allow. He has sometimes done small things for me when I couldn't afford it, and does not charge me. His staff is very kind and very helpful. Read Less

Dr. Roberts has taken care of every one of my pets since I was a child. But this last experience really revealed to me the amazing person he really is. I found my dog Lucky on the side of the road when he was just a puppy. I immediately took him to Dr. Roberts. Fast forward 12 and 1/2 years. Not only did my parents fall in love with him, but the entire neighborhood did as well. When I got married they gladly handed me over, but refused to give up Lucky. Lol. My parents went out of town and I went to the house to check on him often. I noticed something was different about him and rushed him to Dr. Roberts. He broke the news that Lucky was in kidney failure. He gave him fluids to try and help make him feel better and I took him home with me for his last few days. Every other day I would go in and get fluids for Lucky. Dr. Roberts made it clear that he was treating me and not my dog anymore. He gave me my chance to say my goodbyes because he knew how much I loved this dog. When the time came to put Lucky to sleep, Dr. Roberts changed his demeanor. I could tell his heart was breaking for me. He explained everything to me and the whole process was so peaceful. This Dr. truly has not only compassion for animals, but for people. My dog, Maggie, somehow cut her side on Saturday night. She guarded it and I didn't see any blood so I thought it was mostly a scratch. I had to leave on a trip from Atlanta to Laredo Sunday. We stayed in Mobile AL Sunday night. When we got up I saw that the wound was worse than I had originally thought. I drove until about 8:30 am and decided to find a Vet. Google had Roberts Small Animal Clinic rated high so I got off the interstate and found them. I'm driving a 75 foot tractor/trailer . They are great. Every one of them. They did a great job. I was charged a very fair price. I love these folks. I am only disappointed that I couldn't give them 100 stars ! Read Less

Drs. Roberts offer low cost walk in vet services 4-5 days a week from 8-12, 2-5 with closure on Wednesdays and every other Saturday. They are limited on space for after care, so their surgical options are limited and highly coveted. You get to decide how in depth your exam and services will be. If you want high maintenance care, you probably will not find this practice to your liking. For general dental and vetting care, though, they are hard to beat on service and price. Read Less

They really deserve a 4-1/2 stars. There are two vets at the clinic now, Dr. Allen Roberts & Dr. Ryan Roberts.  Both seem to be great and I'm happy to be taking my pets here in the last few months.  They're affordable, kind and good at what they do.  The only reason to lower the rating by 1/2 star is because they don't make appointments.  You just have to come in and take your changes.  However, if you call they will advise you when the low periods are during the week so you can schedule accordingly.  They seem to often run a special for neutering, just give them a ring and ask.  They are located in Moss Point but it seems to be a hop, skip and a jump from Pascagoula.  I drive over from Grand Bay just to use their services. This man is a true healer for animals.  He's been our family veterinarian for 25 years.  I remember when I was a boy a kid in our neighborhood shot one of our cats with 22. We called him at his home that night and he told us to come up.  He gave her a sedative and told us to bring her to his office for surgery the next morning.  He had to amputate one of her hind legs and put her foreleg in a splint.  He did everything he could to save her but after a few days we noticed her breathing was shallow.  Turns out there was one fragment me just overlooked and it sunk deeper causing a punctured lung.  He had to put her to sleep and when my dad pulled out his checkbook, Dr. Roberts refused to accept anything.  Said there would be no bill.  We've used him ever since.  He has never failed to save one of my babies unless it was just too far gone.  I've ever brought in a ferret and python and he got them both better.  He's friendly, thorough and very gentle with animals and is very comforting to pet owners.  His office is always clean and well kept and his staff (mostly consisting of his family) are top notch.  He's also very affordable and will let you pay on time if you're low on cash.  I would recommend this clinic to anyone with a small pet. Dr. Roberts is really nice to the people and the animals that come in his office. He is very experienced, and has the lowest prices of any vet around. He doesn't do complicated, expensive surgeries, such as inserting a rod in a broken femur, but we couldn't afford that anyhow, and our dog's leg healed just fine after wearing the splint Dr. Roberts put on him. You wouldn't even know it was broke if we didn't tell you. The ladies that work for him are very polite, helpful, and do a very good job. They work fast and don't waste time so everyone can get in and out with as little waiting as possible. We have been using the animal clinic in Moss Point (next to Church's Chicken) for about three years now and won't use any other vet. Read Less
