Equine Veterinary Associates Of Olive Branch

Olive Branch, Mississippi
General Info
Equine Veterinary Associates of Olive Branch interprets pet behavior as a communicative system expressed through tail movements and body stillness combined with sounds and pacing patterns to serve households across Mississippi. Examinations initiate not through physical contact but through focused mental engagement. Staff examine subtle animal behaviors such as eye contact patterns and breathing responses to voices alongside movement tendencies toward or away from motion. Care then unfolds in parts. The examination of a pet's skin coat and joints relies on its movements such as anchoring leaning or stiffening. Internal reviews—teeth, abdomen, heart rhythm—follow when signs of trust appear. Owners deliver context by detailing alterations in daily patterns alongside new auditory stimuli their pets respond to and shifts in walking or feeding routines. Equine Veterinary Associates of Olive Branch provides services ranging from early-life exams and diagnostics to energy balance strategies oral health planning age-related joint tracking and illness-specific mapping. Timeframes vary based on behavior. Certain appointments progress rapidly where consent signals appear clearly. The progression of other changes occurs gradually across distinct phases which allows the animal ample time to understand each step. Designated quiet areas and pause zones exist for pets to recalibrate before proceeding. The focus of post-visit care involves transforming household dynamics into medical follow-up protocols. What to monitor in sleep how to reintroduce routines and when to observe for silent cues—withdrawal from family loss of appetite or spatial guarding. It is recommended that owners monitor timing along with symptoms. At what time does restlessness appear? During which daily period do hesitations reach their maximum frequency? Equine Veterinary Associates of Olive Branch provides guidance to families in Olive Branch as well as nearby Mississippi areas by treating behavior as a living signal which pets deliver through everyday pauses nudges and shifts instead of during crises.

Dr. Mercer has been taking care of our equine medical needs for more than 20 years! We have had as many as 150 horses under our care at once and he can always meet our needs. He and his team are the best around. They can do it all: wellness exams, lameness exams, ultrasonography, radiography, emergency, internal medicine and more. We don't do anything with our horses without consulting Dr. Mercer in his team first. Read Less

I have been using EVA for going on 6 years now and love them. I have always been treated right and so have my horses plus the entire facility I run here at Ulric Equestrian Center. Prompt and affordable. They always discuss treatment options on short/longterm including pricing right away so my customers know what to expect. My billing has always been correct. They recently treated my horse for EPM and was the cheapest. Thank you for all you do for me and the facility. Shannyn Welsh. Read Less

Dr. Kristen Lindsey, DVM, posted a picture on her Facebook page of her holding an arrow that is sticking through the head of a dead cat. The post reads €My first bow kill, lol. The only good feral tomcat is one with an arrow through it's head! Vet of the year award ... Gladly accepted." The post quickly went viral and prompted numerous calls to the Brenham Police Department and Washington County Animal Control. Brenham police say the cat was shot in Austin County. on facebook, Dr. Kristen Lindsey, DVM there are screen captures of her friend and fellow veterinarian Dr. Keri Elizabeth Kamp DVM liking and approving and commenting on Dr. Lindsey's senseless cruelty towards Tiger, a pet cat. Dr. Kemp's facebook profile has since been deleted. Some screen captures of Dr. Kemp's liking and approving on facebook of Dr. Lindsey are still saved. I believe she is in violation to the code of ethics, in expressing approval to her friend's cruelty towards animals, and must be held accountable. Read Less
