The price is amazing and my cats get the care they need and when we go or of town I don’t mind driving to this location to have my cats boarded. People need to be patient they are always really busy and it might take time to speak to you but that’s because they go through all the information they need to let the pet owner know and answer every question they have. Today is a sad day! I have been seeing Dr Ruth for 14 years and four dogs. She is the best Vet in the state of MS! Unfortunately, today was the last time I will allow the front desk to treat me, the customer, so rudely. We will miss Dr Ruth, Dr Shaw and Shelly, but enough is enough. Good customer service is nonexistent at the front desk and unfortunately, that is the place that is the first and last place the customer experiences. How sad when business throw away customers. I took my lab puppy in to be neutered and when I picked him up his tooth was broken. When I called to inform them, the vet said she saw blood but thought he bit his tongue. When I told her the tooth was broken her response was to say it must have happened on the rabies pole. No apology or offer to pull it. These people are best equipped for small, docile animals. Love Dr. Ruth and her staff. Have been bringing my animals and rescues here for about 7 years or so. So thankful for their compassionate care and honest answers always and they don't try to gouge your wallet for things your pet doesn't need. I have seen some reviews complain about the front desk staff here. They may not always be warm and fuzzy but my experience is that they do a great job in an extremely busy office keeping things straight and they are all very compassionate women when it comes to the care of your pets...that is most important. The receptionists was rude and condescending , when I called to ask if they performed any type of surgeries for my dogs knee my normal vet doesn't. After 1 min on the phone with her I chose to find another facility. I'm sure the DR at this place is good but it doesn't help to have a bitchy receptionist. The doctor was fantastic. She was very thorough and explained everything and answered all my questions. She was very knowledgeable and sweet. The only reason I took away 2 stars was because of the receptionist. She was nasty on the phone and acted as though I was bothering her by even calling. Not sure why she had such a bad attitude but it was a poor first impression. I still came to the clinic because the doctor had such a good rep. We have been taking out blue heeler here since she was a pup. We love the staff and the vets. She has been spayed and all her shots from this clinic and have no regrets. One star off for their boarding. They are great but several times I have left a cute note to how her feeding schedule is. Only to return with the same amount of food in her tub. Read Less

Dr Ruth and Dr Nipper have taken care of my horses vaccinations and coggins. Nipper also checked my mares ears when she had gotten an infection. I signed in at the desk and was seen within 30 minutes with the waiting room quite busy. I expected to wait longer but i didnt they took care of me. Dr Ruth loved my pony and we had a great chat, i have to say she spent time with me and not the typical in and out that most vets give you. I will return for more business. I forgot to mention Dr Ruth examined my ponies hooves thoroughly since i rescued him. She was wonderful in her advice and very confident experienced vet. Called the place to find out they close at 6. I just got a new puppy that's akc registered and so they sent me a coupon for the first vet visit free. This just so happened to be one of the clinics that takes the coupon. Apon arrival at 5:05 I gave the coupon to a lady who told me I don't think we accept this and beside our cut off is at 5. She later told me they do take the coupon but was very rude. I would rather pay than to take my puppy to a place that treats people that I mean how would they treat my puppy!!! I'm also letting the akc know they should not recommend this office to anyone. If they close at 6 u should see ppl who walk in at 5 or close at 5!!! Read Less

We've been taking all our animals, both kitties and dogs, for the last year or so and really love it. The front reception is always clean and the welcome is warm with lots of smiles. We recently had an emergency just days after having our Rhodesian Ridgeback spayed and I have to send Major Kudos to the staff and Dr. Stevens for the concern, care and wonderful treatment of our "baby girl"! Poor Makena was bitten very early in the morning by a brown recluse spider just 4 days after her spay. We were horrified at how quickly a teeny tiny bite turned into a lump the size of a fist. As soon as the office opened we called and within minutes my husband had her there where Dr. Stephens used a syringe to extract as much of the fluid in the bite area as possible and then made a one inch incision into her side for drainag after giving her a local shot to relieve the pain. After a few sleepless nights and constant application of cold damp cloths to absorb the drainage I'm thrilled to say the incision is not only healing nicely with no necrosis but our "baby girl" is bounding around again and will have her stitches out tomorrow! The staff is helpful and they are really good to the animals.  We recently had to have our cat of 17 years put to sleep and I am very impressed with the sympathetic and efficient manner that it was handled.  This was only the second time I had been in, as we are a new customer.
