They neutered my German shepherd/lab mix and did an awesome job. I was even worried about his incision and I was able to send pictures to the vet to make sure everything was looking ok. I've taken 2 strays in since the were spraying the bushes all around my neighbors house and mine. We went in together and we got"him" fixed and his rabies shot. For that and a 10.00 donation the total cost was I think 27.00. There's no beating that. So I took my girls that I adopted there and sa coat someone dropped at my sisters house. He was fixed and got his shots for under 30.00 thats counting a 10.00 donation. I believe they work with you on a sliding pay scale. The folks there are very nice and compassionate. Much better than the expensive vet I was using in Florence. I was comfortable leaving my girls there. Even her staff acted like they didn't care for animals at all. I thin They tell you to get there early as possible - first come basis, So you have your baby home with you the sane night Best place I've found in MS. if i could give them zero stars i would. never bring your animals here they are very rude an unprofessional.. i took my dog here and they didnt even watch him while he was there when we went to pick him up he had already been licking his wound and busted through the glue.. he was extremely swolen the meds they gave him never helped... it began to turn black by the end of the next day... they never would answer our calls.... i had to drive from brandon to Taylorsville to another vet to get antibiotics bc my dog was dying of a severe infection... days went by and they never would answer or return calls my mother in law had to actually take off of work and go up there still they were very rude to her... never bring your animals here!!! They have an extremely professional and efficient way of handling the large volume of clients they have. Absolutely great service. We used it because we weren't able to afford the cost of getting our dog spayed at a traditional vet's office. We were initially a bit worried due to the high number of surgeries. I asked others about using the service beforehand and everyone highly recommended them. However, if you want to talk with the vet beforehand, you can arrange that. I love the Big Fix Clinic! I rescue a lot of dogs and cats and they find homes very quickly after they receive their surgeries at MS SPAN. The staff is so sweet and genuinely care about the animals we as owners and rescuers place into their hands. I first discovered their clinic a few years ago and I am so glad that I did! These guys have a passion for helping our homeless cat & dog population.They do it by helping getting our beloved pets fixed at a reasonable cost before there are unwanted litters or after a litter.They have a program for colony kitties to get spayed or neutered and returned to their caretaker so they can live a free life.I support their efforts as the only way to stop our homeless pet problem is to stop more babies from being born who will not have loving homes.109,000 animals enter MS shelters every year.
