I have used this Vet since we have had dogs. He is so caring and knows what he is doing. He saved one of our dogs from dying of Parvo. It was very expensive, but he let us pay a little along until we had him all paid off. My mother & I had used this clinic for years, so I had no reason to think that TYE wasn't getting anything other than the best of care. They were extremely nice as always, yet I felt very deceived after I took my 16 year old baby dog to them. They kept telling me that nothing was wrong with TYE. They sent him home sick, so I took him to the animal hospital on Treetops in Flowood (which he should have been recommended to by Rankin Animal Clinic) when they couldn't figure out why TYE was sick. The Flowood Hospital asked for the records from Rankin Animal Clinic.The doc/vet @ the (animal hospital) said they couldn't even read the writing/scribble on the records of what was performed on TYE @ Rankin Animal Clinic. Needless to say I was highly disappointed. TYE had one x ray and some blood work and I was told he had prostate cancer. The X-ray showed huge pockets of puss which they had to immediately drain because he was in so much pain. A few days and $4,000 later I had to have him put to sleep. I wish I would have never wasted the time I did with Rankin animal clinic. I feel like they owe me my $1000 back as they did nothing to help my baby the whole time he was in their care. I realize our pets get sick DOC, yet this is something that should have been seen on X-ray or in his blood work at Rankin Animal Clinic just like it was initially found at Flowood Animal Hospital. Everyone at Rankin Animal Clinic are Angels in my opinion. My late husband and I have been taking our "kids" to see Dr Berry and Dr Leber for going on 10 years now and I will continue to do so. They have always gone above and beyond for our family, Chance and now Casper. Especially with our sweet baby Chance, when after years of Heart problems, Diabetes and then Ketoacidosis, THAT TIME came where we had to let him go. LOVE THE VETS, BUT FRONT DESK PEOPLE NOT SO MUCH & THE YOUNGER GIRL IS JUST RUDE!!!!!!! I REALLY LOVE DR. LEBER AND HE IS VERY GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES & CARING ABOUT YOUR BABIES, BUT I DO NOT LIKE YOUNG ( OR ANYONE!!) WOMEN TALKING DOWN TO ME BECAUSE THEY DID NOT WANT TO BE AT WORK ON A SATURDAY MORNING BECAUSE IF YOU MISTREAT ME HOW DO I KNOW YOU WILL NOT MISTREAT MY BABIES!!! I ALSO HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM WITH BRINGING MY BABY TO GROOMER AT 7:30 a.m. AND SHE STILL IS NOT DONE AT 4:00pm AND THEN WHEN I PICK HER UP SHE IS ABOUT TO BUST BECAUSE SHE HAS NOT URINATED IN ALL THIS TIME; MUCH LESS GIVEN A DRINK OF WATER, THIS IS TRAUMATIC TO DOGS THAT ALREADY HAVE ANXIETY ISSUES ESPECIALLY WHEN VISITING THE VET!!!!! Dr. Leber is an amazing doctor. He is caring and listens. The front desk lady Marie I do not like. She apparently thinks it's ok to give out personal billing info to people who have nothing to do with the pet as well let's other people make medical decisions on ur pet. I think she should be fired. If you can avoid working with her then you golden. Dr. Leber is worth using if you can get around receptionist. It's hard to find a vet like him. Read Less

The vets at RAC are great. Caring, compassionate, capable. The front desk receptionist is not. For some reason she gets joy in degrading other pet parents fur babies. Making snide comments about the behavior of someone's young rambunctious pup needing obedience school is not her place.
