Did a great job looking after my cat and did a nice job explaining things things to my daughter when she had questions. Had us in and out quickly and were gentle with our cat. Everytime I go I get the worst news and end up putting my dogs down. Now they are old and tire has a way with doing that. The staff is amazing. The facility it's clean. They get your on fast when there is an emergency. They also stay later to let you lay with your puppy before saying goodbye forever. They truly care. Read Less

Wonderful staff. My dog is a huge scared baby everytime we come in and the techs/vet are always patient and kind with him. I've seen several of the different vets on staff and they are all amazing and do everything they can to make me feel comfortable and well-informed before I leave. They work great with VSS, who preformed my dog's ACL surgery, and I can easily pick up medicine refills close to come vs. driving out to Manchester! Read Less

Dr Harlan and the rest of the staff are amazing!  So friendly, thorough and they explain things in layman terms.  Their pricing is the best around, and they don't do any unnecessary testing, in other words, they explain the cost/benefit of any testing. In addition, you can get your meds and specialty foods there- for a fraction of the price other vets charge.  I recommend them to anyone. Read Less

I am now taking my second cat in for treatment here and the staff is very friendly, professional and efficient. I came here twelve years ago with my first cat and i wouldnt use any other Vet. I definitely trust the employees with my precious little one........wonderful place!!!!!! UPDATE: My eighteen year old cat was diagnosed with diabetes and after making an initial comeback from extreme weight loss and sickness, he took a turn for the worse. This Vet and all the employees here did EVERYTHING they could to treat and save him, but unfortunately, at 18 years of age it was just his time. I am very pleased with Dr Harlin and every employee that helped make his final departure as painless an experience as it could be. They are VERY comforting and compassionate. Read Less

Staff is very friendly and always seem to care about our animals which I imagine can be tough with so many coming in and out. It's always busy but they can usually get you in fairly quickly if you need to see a vet and didn't schedule an appointment ahead of time. Biggest complaint is that it sometimes takes awhile to get called and then you can wait for some time once in the room even if you had an appointment. The lobby is a little too small and the place seems a bit run down but the staff make up for that. Would recommend to anyone. Read Less

Very caring knowledgeable staff. reasonable prices.Our chihuahua had bit the end of his own tail off. Another vet office( vet #1) gave stitches and meds, but it healed badly and still hurt him a lot, so we took dog to another vet office(vet #2) to see about having tail docked(so it would be a clean cut, not for ascetics) and neutering . Vet #2 barley looked at tail and gave us a high pressure sales pitch and a quote that seemed really high.Then we tried this place.  Huge difference in all aspects.  The vet (now our 3rd for this issue) was willing to take the time to listen to the situation and talk about it with us.  He did the docking and neutering for $100 less than vet #2 quoted. our dog healed fast.  The techs that removed his stitches were so gentle and handled the scared snarling dog like true caring professionals. Few months later we had a cat who got very ill fast and needed to be put to sleep. She was in bad shape and could not be saved. There are many things I love about Arnold Animal Hospital but one think I like especially and that is their explanation of costs versus benefits for any procedure they do.  We have three dogs and if not for Arnold MO ordinance (thank you Arnold!) my wife would have fifty. As you can imagine vet bills can rack up.  When we have had to have procedures performed a payment plan has been offered.  We are fortunate that so far we have not had to take them up on that offer. We had one dog who developed a hematoma on her ear.  They surgically repaired it and explained that the ear if left to heal on it's own would shrivel up and look very odd so they literally stitched a piece of plastic to hold it flat as it healed.  Today aside from a few dots on the inside of the ear you cannot tell anything was done. I have been taking my chihuahua there for the past 9 weeks with a broken leg.  We have seen both Dr. Reinarman and Dr. Feldkamp... both of which have been very helpful.  All of the staff has been wonderful.  I tend to be very picky about who I take my babies to and AAH is one of the best. Only thing that can be a bit frustrating is that the practice is extremely busy.  The wait isn't normally a problem as they have numerous exam rooms and doctors in the practice but the waiting area can quickly get uncomfortable during the busier times.  My chihuahua has severe anxiety so this can be a problem with her sometimes.  But everyone at the practice is amazing and I cannot thank them enough for all the help they have given to my Angel and me. :) Read Less

I visit Arnold Animal Hospital at the least 3-4 times a year ( My wife is a hypochondriac with our dog) The staff and especially Dr Mayab always make the visit bearable for myself and my prima donna dog. Dr. Mayab is very knowledgeable with my dog's semi rare breed which is why I am willing to travel out of my way to go to AAH. Read Less

I started using this business when I adopted two kittens about 7 years ago, and they've treated me (and more importantly, my cats) well every time I've gone there.  I definitely credit them with saving the life of my boy-cat Mister Peterson after he decided to eat an entire meter length of string and getting his intestines bunched up as a result.  It was a harrowing time, but they acted professionally and calmly and kept me in the loop the whole time, even though I'd brought him in at a pretty late hour.
