They did pretty well with our pet. The young woman who took him from us was rather hateful. We just chalked it up as maybe she was just having a rough day. But, when we arrived the next day to pick him up, we were greeted by her same hateful attitude, she didn't advise us of any post-procedure care, we had to ask other staff members in the building if our pet required any specific post-procedure care, which he did. We've used this vet for many years. Two incidents stand out for me; the first is when my dog Jake became ill and I just couldn't make myself have him put down, the vet gave me pain killers for Jake so we could just do pain management instead. And the second time was when my sister and I caught a stray cat that was in very bad shape and couldn't even walk straight. I called the office on a Saturday afternoon and got a call back very quickly. The vet agreed to meet me at the office and look at the cat, unfortunately the cat was very ill and we agreed it would be better to have it put down and he only charged me for the after hours visit. This animal clinic is the one I switched over to from the Country Side Animal Clinic and have been taking my cat to for about a year now. They are friendly, informative, and cheap. They make appointments and take walk-ins. And they don't charge a service fee like allot of vet clinics in the area do. They just charge you for the shots, pills, or whatever they give your pet. Been coming here since I was young with my pets. I was about 9 when my mother was working and one of muy pups got hit by a car. We have used Dr Bader for 5+ yrs always been great until we had an emergency at 5:30 pm we called the line left our number no call back in an hour called again no call called in at 8 am to be told they couldn't get to us till after 6 pm. We had to call another vet from another town to travel to us. Needless to say due to not being able to get our cow treated she is down and will probably not get back up. We take our cat and dog to this clinic and have been very satisfied with their services. All vets have been kind and interested in doing all possible. Their prices are reasonable and they have even given me contact numbers on the weekend, in case our animal needed extra help on Sunday! Any negative writings are unfair about this clinic. My mom started bringing our animals here when I was young. I'm now an adult, with children of my own, bringing our animals here. The staff is so great to my sweet pitbulls (other places said I'd have to muzzle them). I drive from Branson West to get my dogs their shots. I don't trust anyone else! Every single time I have taken my animals into the Aurora Animal Clinic with Dr. Bader I have had issues. The vet is so unprofessional that I'm amazed he has any business at all. If you have a bully breed definitely don't take your pet there because he has a prejudice against them and doesn't care what the outcome or his treatment of them are. Also if you have a prescription from your pet be prepared to spend more there because they will not sign for prescriptions for online or through another company. Then they will lie to you and tell you they never received the information, the fax machine was broken, and finally that they just don't do that period. You can get it from them or not at all. 3 animals that I've taken there have been mistreated by this horrible excuse of a vet, strike out, I'll never go back there and I'd advise everyone else to avoid Dr. Bader too... at least if you care about your animals.
