We were recommended to County Animal Hospital by a friend and have been going there for 11 years for preventive care, surgery and boarding. Dr. Mike is our primary vet and have always experienced professional, friendly and top-notch service. Have also met several of the other vets and they all are knowledgeable, friendly and caring of our multi-poo canine. Every one of them will sit down with you during your visit and explain how the animal is doing, they take the time to discuss your concerns and they are all very knowledgeable on how to treat my dogs€ troubles. Never have I felt rushed or on a time limit. I feel they care for my dog and treat him like family. Watch your bank statements here! They charged me twice and also did the same thing to my mom about 6 months ago!!! They are also wayyyy over priced and they took my dog to the back for an ear cleaning and decided to cut his nails and shave the hair from his feet without even asking me! And then they wanted to charge me for it...umm no!!! The vet was incredibly nice...but something Seems way off about this place. Read Less

I took my dog Chip in for a routine checkup and Dr. Bone was keen enough to see he had some inflammation around his upper teeth. Being a chihuahua this is apparently common but I am embarrassed to say that I started bawling when I heard a few of the teeth had to be pulled. Still, he reassured me, and two weeks later Chip got the best care I could ask for having the teeth removed. Dr. Bone showed me this 3D scan of his head and showed me where there was bone loss and how we were able to prevent further problems - any other vet would not have even been able to detect the problem areas since my understanding is that the 3D scanning technology is something not a lot of hospitals have. Chip made a full recovery and is happier than ever now that he teeth aren't hurting him. All in all I had a great experience at County Animal Hospital, and will be bringing my dog here regularly. The staff is so friendly each time we come and they take great care of us. Lindsey was really sweet today at checkout explaining the benefits of the annual Pelty Plan and I just have to say thanks! It can be kind of hectic for me in the front with the dogs and my little kids but she was very patient. (The fish tank is also an awesome attraction/distraction!) Dr. Bone is really thorough with Stella's annual checkups and I always feel she's in good hands. Miss Erika does a great job in grooming getting her fluffed and buffed. I have been taking my beloved animals to Dr. Mike and staff for over 10 years. 5 dogs and a cat have been well cared for by them and always treated like family. County Animal Hospital is the best! We have taken our Westie there since he was a puppy, and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Mike, the other vets, and the entire staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and professional. It is obvious that they truly care about our four-legged friends! Our dog had surgery in March, and Dr. Mike took all the time we needed to explain the surgery and recovery. He even consulted with a vet in Columbia to confirm his surgical plan. The vets at COH are compassionate, reassuring, experienced and they always have a fresh idea for how to deal with any concerns I have about my pets. Dr. Bone is our vet and he makes sure to call us back with answers to questions I have. He is always very caring when one of my pets life comes to a close, and that has happened three times. Dr. Mike and his staff blew my expectations away with their level of care for my dog, Bentley. He received knee surgery and recovery at CAH. Dr. Mike did a great job explaining the procedures and recovery steps to me so that I could easily understand. Dr. Mike has been amazing with our dog and with us. He is an expert at the ACL surgery and used the latest techniques. Our dog healed relatively quickly and fully. the staff is so friendly and caring and our dog LOVES everyone there - especially Dr. Mike. Everyone took time to explain the surgery as well as how the dog was doing when he was boarding there post surgery. They were happy to let me come visit the dog and ask as many questions as I wanted. I love CAH. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Mike and his wonderful staff. Both of my dogs have had ACL repairs since May. Whenever I would call after the surgery and during there stay, they would always give me an update. Even when I called almost everyday! We love our dogs like our kids, and it's nice to go to a place that feels the same way about our babies. I was referred to CAH for a second opinion on my 10 y/o Springer Spaniel Molly?s need for orthopedic surgery. Molly?s surgery was successfully completed by Dr. Mike Vitucci and his excellent team and Molly spent 2 weeks at the clinic for post op care. She got the best care possible and was treated like family. She is doing wonderful! She no longer walks on 3 legs in pain. They are a top notch clinic with all the latest technology and strive to be the best and in my opinion have far exceeded the level of excellent care! I would highly recommend CAH for all your vet needs, whether it be routine shots or complicated orthopedic surgery! You won?t regret it or be disappointed.
