We drove down from Kansas City. To have our dog put under to have her teeth cleaned costs $600 in Kansas City but only $80 here. The staff was so helpful and even made sure to call a few days later to make sure Harpo was okay. Cannot say enough good things about this place and staff!! Read Less

Lindsey and Levin run an exceptional veterinary practice. The two obviously deeply care about the animals they treat and are respectful and helpful towards pet owners. They helped diagnose our Fritz with food allergies and helped us find the right food that alleviated his issues. We had no idea that his food was the issue! Overall this vet did it's job and did so at a very good cost. However, I will no longer be taking my pets here due to the general lack of friendliness and emotion. This is the vet's office that the county uses for all of its pound need - so they run the place like you've been there a hundred times and that you don't have any feelings for the pet you've brought in. Not everyone treats their pets like family, but my pets are my children. When I brought my kitten in to be spayed, an assistant came out, confirmed the name of my pet, then just took the carrier into the back and then they told me to come back at 5 to pick her up - I didn't get to say goodbye to her, they didn't explain anything about what they were going to do to her, and when I returned to pick her up, they didn't give me any aftercare information whatsoever. All-in-all, if you've got a stray that needs shots or meds, this vet is fine. But if you are looking for a vet who treats your animals with love and understands that if they die while under anesthesia you'll be crushed - you're better off looking for a different. vet. They worked tirelessly to find a treatment for my poor dog who was having all sorts of skin allergy issues. When there was a complication with my cats spay surgery, the vet stayed late that night to fix it so that I wouldn't have to drive back the next day. I appreciate their service so much that I drive all the way from Springfield to pick up medication for my dog as well as to bring my pets in for their shots and check ups. I have only brought my pet to this veterinarian once and I will never do it again. Dr. Stewart spayed my dog. While I think Dr. Stewart overall did a good job I had a problem with the staff in his office and the lack of aftercare received. When I picked up my puppy, none of the items I brought for her to have comfort items were with her. I specifically had to ask to receive the blanket and toy back. Next, the office staff did not offer an Elizabethan Collar to prevent the puppy from ripping out the stitches.Furthermore, we had to ask about how to take care of the stitches. They should have been upfront with that information. Even though we asked, we still didn't receive all of the necessary information. We didn't know if the stitches had to be removed or would dissolve. Two weeks after the spay procedure our regular vet removed the stitches and our dog had some chafing, unfortunately. If we had received the necessary information maybe our dog wouldn't have experienced any chafing from the stitches. We asked for paperwork showing that the dog was spayed. I had to ask several times for it, before finally receiving it . My dog's weight on the form was off by over 12 pounds also. If you want to have your dog spayed or neutered, please take your dog to another vet! Read Less
