Clayton Road Veterinary Hospital

Chesterfield, Missouri
General Info
Clayton Road Veterinary Hospital, situated in Chesterfield, is a valuable member of the local veterinary community. Chesterfield pet owners rely on Clayton Road Veterinary Hospital to design veterinary plans targeting joint health, breed-related care regimens, and lifestyle-driven timely checkups affected by Missouri weather patterns. The daily movement investigation begins by asking the owner whether the cat climbs, where it rests, whether it jumps and from which heights, if it gets fatigued easily, and how social it is. The head-to-tail check covers several aspects, such as weight balance, orthopedic range of motion, coat quality, respiratory system, mouth cavity health and sensory organs. The evaluation of breed-specific issues such as hip dysplasia, spinal concerns, allergies, and overheating is based on pet history records and physical signs. Clayton Road Veterinary Hospital offers various services like vaccine programs, lab work, lameness checks, nutritional coaching, dental exams and pain evaluations. Recheck timing (i.e. winter stiffness in large breed dogs, spring atopic flare ups, warm weather exercise intolerance etc.) Planning might incorporate age-stage changes as well as activity-based conditioning proposals. Each family receives visit reports along with recommendations on home-based modifications such as traction techniques, harness selection, temperature monitoring, weight targets, and observation records. Return timelines can be set based on key milestones (athletic or arthritis-related) or weather testing due to old age. Clayton Road Veterinary Hospital also establishes a perplexing system of pet health management that Chesterfield-based Missouri pet owners may use to safeguard their animals. It is based on an analysis of the movement patterns, breed-specific factors and timing aspects. Some of the popular services include an in-house pharmacy, emergency care, surgery, orthopedic surgery, diagnostics, boarding, anesthesiology, and dental care. Whether it is a matter of routine health management or intricate wellbeing procedures, Clayton Road Veterinary Hospital inspires pet owners’ confidence by ensuring that the latter remain informed and aware. The team looks forward to continued growth and community involvement so that every pet in Chesterfield and the United States can have access to care.

Dr. Furlong was recommended to us in March, 2006. We rescued a dog who was abandoned in a state park over the winter, skin & bones, clearly somewhat trained, very abused. As is with many rescue dogs, she rescued me! Dr. Furlong and his staff have treated her with the utmost care and respect. He keeps up with all of the newest information, recently attending another training, thinking of and asking to see Prancer since she suffers from this problem. Our second rescue dog came in 2014. Dr. Seaborn is equally capable, kind, respectful, etc. Both doctors explain clearly what they are doing and why, what we can do at home preventatively for ongoing issues, and they always follow up with a phone call if one of the dogs had a problem.
