We have had 3 bull terriers...ALL under Dr. Yavitz care. You will not find a more knowledgeable, reasonable nor caring - especially medical individual to serve the BEST interests of these furry friends who dwell so trustingly in our homes. If you know bull terriers....well let's just say they have put us all through our paces and Dr. Gary has been no exception. From grass awn removal to advising on broken teeth, blood panels galore...(or so it seemed!) from 12 day stint in a well...NOT of ANYONE's choosing...least of all our Jackson...Dr. Gary is always proactive to give the very BEST care for our boy. We are GRATEFUL for his expertise and friendship....

Louise and Frank are two of the most genuinely, personable people you will ever meet. They both helped me feel more comfortable with a very hard situation. Dr. Yavitz has been thorough and realistic with our diagnosis and prognosis. He has been easy to reach and extremely helpful. The place is also uber cute from the outside. I've only just found them and may not need there services much longer- heavy sigh -but know where we will be taking our next animal. I LOVE this place!

I have been choosing to use Spoede Animal Hospital for over 20 years and have been thrilled with the service they provide. Dr. Gary Yavitz and his great assistants, Louise and Frank, are all extremely knowledgeable, but more importantly, they truly care about the animals they see. This shows through in the services they provide. For example, I always, without fail, receive a follow up phone call regarding any procedure done, medicine given, or issue that has been going on. And if something happens after hours, I can always count on Dr. Gary to promptly answer my emails. Dr. Yavitz will continue to be the only vet I trust. He takes the absolute best care of my three dogs. I highly recommend him and his wonderful staff.

We all look for certain attributes when we choose our physician. We want someone who is competent, but more than that, we want someone who can communicate with us on both a technical and human level....
We all look for certain attributes when we choose our physician. We want someone who is competent, but more than that, we want someone who can communicate with us on both a technical and human level. We want to be able to grasp all consequences of particular treatments; we want to be able to communicate our concerns; we someone who is concerned enough to explain not only our illness, but how to prevent future problems.
As we look to find a veterinarian for our pet, we want these same attributes. Dr. Yavitz meets all of our needs in this regard. When we have brought a new pet for examination, he carefully assesses their problems, treats them and then explains what we can do to avoid such problems in the future. He has a preventive care program to keep our pets healthy and is always there when we have concerns, no matter how minor they might seem. He always takes the time to listen to us. When our pet is ill, he makes sure he is able to either diagnose the problem himself or refers us to another specialist who can care for our pet. However, he is always there in the background as well, supporting us in our choices and assisting us in comprehensive care. When nothing else can be done for our pet, he helps us make the right decisions for both our pet and for ourselves. When we are ready to let our pet go, it is done in a caring manner with extra emotional support as needed.
Always knowledgeable, always respectful, always caring; Dr. Yavitz is our professional of choice for any of our pets, now and in the future.

My furry kids have been going to Dr. Yavitz for 28 years. Through those years I believe that he has been mostly responsible for the longevity of the 4 dogs that I have deeply loved. One of our pets had serious injuries as a result of a dog attack and developed diabetes. Dr. Yavitz gave wonderful care, and patiently took time to teach us how to best care for her for 16 years! He is very accessible, dedicated and competent, and his staff could not be more compassionate, friendly, and fun to be with. I would not trust anyone else for the care of my furry family members. Spoede Animal Hospital is the best!

We've been coming to Speode Animal Hospital and Dr. Gary for years. He and his staff are very friendly and informative, also have good memories. They know me and my brother, in addition to our parents, as soon as we walk in the door or give them a call about one of our cats. My dad jokes that we've put Dr. Gary's kids through highschool and refurnished his house with what we've spent with them over the last 15 years, but it's all been worth it. They helped us with our diabetic cat and extended years onto his life by insisting insulin shots weren't hard to give (and would work, we got an extra 2ish years with Bubbish), and we've learned to pill cats easily. Buzz had a sever case of flees (as did Bubbish). Nemo developed a hacking cough while our house was under-construction (acute cat asthma) and now has a barfing issue thats in the process of being diagnosed. They are good at what they do!

Louise and Frank are two of the most genuinely, personable people you will ever meet. They both helped me feel more comfortable with a very hard situation. Dr. Yavitz has been thorough and realistic with our diagnosis and prognosis. He has been easy to reach and extremely helpful. The place is also uber cute from the outside. I have been choosing to use Spoede Animal Hospital for over 20 years and have been thrilled with the service they provide. Dr. Gary Yavitz and his great assistants, Louise and Frank, are all extremely knowledgeable, but more importantly, they truly care about the animals they see. My furry kids have been going to Dr. Yavitz for 28 years. Through those years I believe that he has been mostly responsible for the longevity of the 4 dogs that I have deeply loved.
