A few years back our dog (lady) was extremely sick (later diagnosed with parvo), this doctor was pointing to the XRAY and telling us “Look here, your dog swallowed a sock, that is the problem" (what she saw was not a sock at all, it was the parvo). We took her home where she nearly died. When we took her back this vet had no shame to charge us another office visit for their misdiagnosis. We ended up spending $1300... Recently they misdiagnosed our cat; Once again sending us home with the wrong treatment causing unnecessary pain and suffering (to both cat and owner) while the vet literally used a barbaric "trial and error" diagnosis. In this case we ended up going to a cat specialist because Old Town Fenton Vet was clueless. *THE GOOD: If you need just preventive care or grooming for your “healthy pet”. (But you may be better off just to get this service at Pet Co.) *THE BAD:If your pet is actually sick and requires a medical professional to accurately diagnose the problem the first time. You soon realize your animal is getting worse and they want to charge you another office visit for the misdiagnosis. *THE UGLY: If you question their practices or point out any mistake (misdiagnosis and over charging), the staff will go into a auto-defensive, deny and redirect blame mode. The narcissistic doctor will tell you that they never make mistakes. (I had a flashback to the Alec Baldwin scene in the movie Malice). In our modern day society, it's reluctantly acceptable to be arrogant if you don't make mistakes. If you can't tell the difference between a sock and parvo, perhaps you need to go back to school and get over yourself. I made the mistake of trusting this delusional vet. Lesson learned. Read Less

So glad I found this Vet clinic. I raised four kittens for the first time with no prior pet experience. At two weeks old, having to bottle feed, potty train and all the rest of the 24/7 job it required. They helped me every step of the way being very informative and caring.They called to check up on us bi weekly. They made sure the kittens were up to date on everything they needed as well as eating and using what was best for them. I took them to Carol House to get spayed and neutered to save money. And this clinic was there for us when the recovery took a turn for the worst. They got us in, the same day i called. They gave her medicine and got her good as new. So thankful for them! They are a very caring office. A few days after each visit they call with a follow up to see how my cat was doing. They had great sympathy when they informed me of bad news. I have used this veterinary hospital since the early 70's and would not go anywhere else. The doctors and staff are absolutely first rate, very knowledgeable and so compassionate when my fur babies had come to the end of their lives. The staff are also reliable with follow up phone calls checking to see how my pets are doing after treatment. I highly recommend this team of wonderful veterinarians. They have always explained all my options for treatment for my pets and have always taken a personal interest when I came in with my dogs or cats. Read Less

Excellent first visit with a 9 yr old Heeler that had recently become totally terrified of another vet after we moved to area. The doctor and all employees here were so sympathetic and gave her lots of pets and patience, and she did much better with this clinic. Dr Beckman is a wonderful vet. She is very good with my dogs. I recently lost Lucky at the end of March and Dr Beckman and the staff was very caring and supporting to me and my son. I would recommend anyone going to them as they treat my fur babies like their own. Read Less
