My vet was on vacation and I needed some advice on my bearded dragon who was getting dehydrated during brumation, she wouldn't drink water. My normal vet clinic recommended I call Ferguson Animal Hospital. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and kept interrupting me. She wouldn't even let me ask my question. She stated that I would have to bring in my pet for him to even entertain my questions but he was "too busy to see any other animals" today. I'm definitely letting my vet know to never recommend this animal hospital again. They seem to only be out for putting money in their pockets.

I literally drive over 45 minutes to get to Dr. Dan. He's extremely knowledgeable and knows what he's talking about. I have three dogs and one of them was a senior and he helped us keep her around for several years longer than I thought she would've been with us. I can't express enough how much I love all of the staff here. I'm a groomer and I refer all my clients to them.

My pets have been patients of Dr. Dan Wentz for 15 years. My experience began when he saved the life of a dog I rescued from the St. Louis County Animal Shelter. She had Parvo virus and would have died but for Dr. Wentz's care. He has also taken care of my rabbits and my beloved boxer, Hodges, who passed away a few years ago.
I suppose I could wax eloquent about what a fantastic vet Dr. Wentz is but there is not room enough on this page for me to extol his virtues. What I will simply say is this, I trust Dr. Wentz. He is kind. He is knowledgeable. He has always been both fair and generous with his time. He cares deeply for his patients. I won't go anywhere else.

Dr. Wentz is the best! He's the only place we take our dogs, cats, and other small creatures. He always fixes them up and keeps the price as low as possible. Now, if he'd only do birds.... :)

My vet was on vacation and I needed some advice on my bearded dragon who was getting dehydrated during brumation, she wouldn't drink water. My normal vet clinic recommended I call Ferguson Animal Hospital. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and kept interrupting me. She wouldn't even let me ask my question. I literally drive over 45 minutes to get to Dr. Dan. He's extremely knowledgeable and knows what he's talking about. I have three dogs and one of them was a senior and he helped us keep her around for several years longer than I thought she would've been with us. I can't express enough how much I love all of the staff here. I'm a groomer and I refer all my clients to them.
