Doc. Stricklin is great. He's around 83 years old. His prices are lower than anyone's in the area. You may not get a technical diagnosis but the meds you receive work. They do not do blood work or x rays there though. Read Less

My dogs walk right in no dragging or carrying them in that says alot because any other vet office i have had to carry them in or drag them in. The staff and dr are awesome and they have great prices and work with you! Read Less

I'm really glad I took my dog Lucy there. The veterinarian that runs the animal hospital has over 50 yrs experience in this line of work. Dr. Stricklin is one of the most kindest vets I've ever been to. He knows his stuff and he is very honest. He charges one third to half of what the other places charge. And the other place said Lucy needed her back teeth pulled and they didn't even do xrays to determine this. Dr. Stricklin said that her teeth were fine and just needed cleaned which he did while she had her ear cleaned and her wounds dealt with. He is the most honest veterinarian in Jefferson County. The staff that works there are very nice and knowledgeable about the products they have. Dr. Stricklin runs the animal hospital and is there to treat every single animal that walks in his doors. Other veterinarian hospitals don't have that kind of dedication. Most other animal hospitals will have their technicians do the check ups and cleanings and the main veterinarian does nothing. Well at Twin City Animal Hospital you can rest assured that your beloved pet is being taken care of by a veterinarian with over 50 years experience. I'm so glad I took Lucy there. I had to take my pup in for shots he was very nice and caring for my pup. I refered my brother to take his 10 year old dog in dog for a third opinion on symptoms turned out he found the cancer that all other vets had missed they felt bad and did the tests at no charge. I dont think there is anyone that cares more about animals then Twin City Animal Hospital. Read Less

I called the hospital earlier today for some simple information and was blown away by how rude their staff is! They provided the WORST customer service I've ever had. The lady that answered the phone talked to me like I was an idiot. When she put me on hold, she didn't mute the phone and said a bunch of nasty things about my call that I heard loud and clear. She's not friendly at all. I've been to the hospital once and Dr. Strickland was great, but it's sad that he allows his staff to treat his clients this way. I will NEVER go back if that's how I will be treated for asking simple questions.Read Less
