We believe in serving you, your pet, and the community. We take pride in offering a wide range of veterinary, boarding and grooming services and the trust you place in us, is what we value the most. We pledge to be the best veterinary team we can be. Ours is a progressive approach to veterinary care - always open to the development of new and more effective techniques.

I have been going to Gladstone Animal Clinic since I first moved to Kansas City in 2006, first with my now-late dog Cassie and currently with my newly adopted dog Carmella. The entire staff at Gladstone Animal Clinic has been nothing but remarkable, addressing our concerns and various issues over the years with the utmost care, love, compassion, and professionalism. As long as I am in Kansas City I will continue to turn to Gladstone for our veterinary needs.

Lil’ Bit’s doctor made a follow up call, after her surgery, as did a surgical tech to provide a status report. A few days after returning home, we received another call - checking to see if the patient was doing well.
Better patient care than some of us humans receive.

My wife took our Siamese male cat in on a Friday because he hadn't been feeling well. They told her he was dehydrated and constipated. He was 14. We didn't know whether it was time to have him put down or not. We didn't want him to suffer. They recommended leaving him over night and they would give him innemas and get him hydrated. They called the next day and said he had died. My wife went to pick him up on Monday and they charged her $900. They should have put him down because I believe he was suffering. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Still furious about it and has been 7 months

I have been going to Gladstone Animal Clinic for the last few years. I have never had an issue getting in to see a Dr. when an emergency comes up and we go in for a regular visit we love getting to see Dr. Stanley or Dr. Richenburg. They always take great care of our dogs and are very kind and personable. Recently we had to say goodbye to one of our boys and the compassion we were shown from the Drs and the staff was amazing. I can't recommend them enough!!!

Love these guys. The vets and techs are all very professional and caring. They communicate regarding the care of your pet openly and honestly. Left my long time veterinarian after they cared for my shelter rescue cat and I could definitely tell the level of care was outstanding. Would reccomend highly.

I have a 3 year old morkie named Clyde whom I love dearly. Gladstone Animal Clinic has been my veterinarian office for the past 15+ years. Before getting Clyde I had ferrets and Dr. Rambo was their vet. He is specialized in exotic breeds and is quite knowledgeable about them. He aided me in helping them to live long and healthy lives. I look forward to them helping me do the same with Clyde. The staff here are very friendly and they just love Clyde. He has his own little enterouge here. Keep up the good work Gladstone Animal Clinic!!!!!

I love Gladstone Animal Clinic! I've taken several of my pets up there and have always received the most attentive care. Two of my pets have had to have major surgeries and have made it out just fine....

I took my dog up there because she was sick. I didn’t know she was as sick as she was. Dr. Rambo was super nice and knowledgeable. He had me call him back to let him know how she was doing a few days later. He even called me one day to check on her. I feel like he went above and beyond caring about my baby. Every time I have been there the staff is super nice and caring. I would highly recommend this clinic for your fur babies!

I had an urgent need for an appointment and my vet was slammed. They took me right in, gave my dog Spencer, who is big hound but quite afraid at the vet, a thorough exam, the proper tests--but not too many--and a treatment plan I thought very appropriate. Everyone was kind and helpful and just great. Then they checked to make sure he was A-OK the next day. Thanks!

I absolutely love this vet! My animals are my children and I know my kids are going to get the best treatment when I leave them with the staff. They are always able to work me in, in an emergency. When they call to give me updates they always refer to them as my "kid" or "kiddo" which means more than I can say, they "get" me. Thanks for everything you do Gladstone Animal Clinic!!

This time, my senior cat somehow broke her foot? Dr. Rambo has put on a splint and has been seeing her for follow up. She is doing well so far. This is only one of our many visits over the years for many different cats and dogs, since 1973. I appreciate the office staff and the medical staff. I have felt kindness and competence from all. Recently my cat Archie had an emergency. They let Archie stay overnight one of the nights free and called a few days after to check on him and see how he was doing. Everyone is kind, attentive, and sincerely care about the animals. Dr. Rambo is my favorite vet here. He is straight to the point and honest about prices and patient care. I don't take my pets anywhere else.

We took my kitten in for emergency surgery. They did his surgery that day. He had to have his ear, front left paw and a toe on the front right paw removed and he is now healing nicely. We thought we'd pay about $4,000 but it was only $1,300. We're so thankful for the vets and everyone that works there.

I made my dogs annual appointment on line. The team at the front desk were very nice and the assistant to the Doctor was great. I have my 3 year grandson with me and he was everywhere and she was so nice about it. she even talked to him and let him put on some gloves so he could pretend to be a doctor! Doctor Lutton DVM was just as nice and patient!! Great experience!

We didn't know whether it was time to have him put down or not. We didn't want him to suffer. They recommended leaving him over night and they would give him innemas and get him hydrated. Recently my cat Archie had an emergency. They let Archie stay overnight one of the nights free and called a few days after to check on him and see how he was doing. Everyone is kind, attentive, and sincerely care about the animals. Dr. Rambo is my favorite vet here. He is straight to the point and honest about prices and patient care. We took my kitten in for emergency surgery. They did his surgery that day. He had to have his ear, front left paw and a toe on the front right paw removed and he is now healing nicely.
