Community Animal Hospital

Hazelwood, Missouri
General Info
Community Animal Hospital is a reliable and caring resource for families in Hazelwood. The diagnostic process at Community Animal Hospital in Hazelwood is an intricate interplay of pets’ behaviors and owners’ insights that impacts medical decisions throughout Missouri. Exams do not begin by touching but by being aware and focused. Staff analyze micro-behaviors such as eye contact patterns, breathing responses to voices, and movements toward or away from motion. Care then unfolds in parts. The way pets position and anchor their bodies in tandem with the leaning and stiffening determines the method of external skin coat and joint examination. After receiving trust signals, they check the teeth, abdomen, and heartbeats. Meanwhile, they give background information about what new sounds started triggering the pet and when day-to-day activities like walks or feeding began changing. Community Animal Hospital offers a wide range of services from early life examinations and diagnostics to energy balance strategies, oral health planning, age-related joint tracking, and illness-specific mapping. Behavior patterns determine the times of changes. Some appointments proceed faster when a woman gives clear signals of her consent. Certain processes progress slowly through various phases thereby adequately preparing the animal for subsequent levels. Pets needing recalibration on what they are about to do next can access the quiet and pause areas. Household translation is at the core of post-visit care work. Examine the sleep patterns once routine reintroduction is successful and determine whether there are any silent cues, such as family withdrawal, appetite loss, and guarding of personal space. It is also recommended to track timing in addition to symptoms. At what time does restlessness make its appearance? During which daily segment do hesitations achieve their maximum frequency? Community Animal Hospital helps families in Hazelwood and the surrounding Missouri areas understand that animal behavior is an ongoing form of communication, evident through small daily actions rather than just during emergencies. Some of the popular services that the Animal Clinic of Billings offers include house calls, wellness exams, emergency and behavioral counseling, dental care, pain management and physical therapy, laser therapy and internal medicine as well as orthopedic surgery and diagnostics. Be it helping clients with routine wellness or working on complicated health plans, the hospital inspires confidence by keeping lines of communication open and upholding high standards. The team is poised to continually grow and engage with the community to ensure that pets in Hazelwood and across the United States have access to excellent care.

Never going back, I called up to get my dog groomed and told the lady my dog is not up to date on shots, and I know you need a rabies shot to be groomed so I asked for an estimate over the phone. The doctor insited that I pay for the rabies shot, grooming fee, and a BATH. I told her that $40 is ridiculous for a bath and that I did NOT want that service. She got very defensive when I told her I do not want the bath for my dog and told me that was weird and she would need perm...ission to skip this. Fast forward to today for my dogs grooming appointment, I show up and the lady asks for vaccination records. I had already told her my dog was not up to date and the woman was very snotty saying she had already told me about all the vaccinations. Basically saying that would not groom my dog unless I pay $315. I am very disappointed with what are so supposed to be professionals have such an attitude. I do not recommend. See More Read Less

My family has taken our dogs to Dr. Eichler for at least a decade. She is very compassionate, intelligent, and is like a second mother to our pets. I moved from Rochester, NY back to St. Louis in 2010 with my mini schnauzer, Chewie, and of course Dr. Eichler became his regular veterinarian. I could tell she loved him almost as much as I did. Recently, I had to make the decision to euthanize him after a long battle with cancer. Not only did the doctor and her staff stay late t...o send Chewie on the next adventure across the Rainbow Bridge, they went beyond to make sure I knew I was supported and that Chewie was very loved. As a veterinary technician myself, I know the value of a good doctor and I wouldn't have anyone else as my regular vet. Dr. Eichler and the staff at Community Animal hospital are amazing and I am so grateful for the care and love they have shown both me and my pets. See More Read Less

When we moved into the area, we were using another vet based on a recommendation from our neighbors. One weekend, my partner accidentally dosed our papillon with Advil instead of her pet meds, and thus started a rather stressful and long day trying to get someone to help us. Our vet was out of town, and the OnCall service was helpful, but the closest place they could see us was over 32 miles away. I couldn't take such a miserable drive, so I called this clinic. They got us in within 15 minutes, and while it was a rough evening she was fine. The cost was good, and we really liked the folks there so we switched and have had a wonderful relationship for the past several years. Thank you! Read Less
