Veterinarians start by doing a thorough physical examination, which involves checking the animal’s teeth, legs, skin and coat, heart and lungs, eyes (for clarity), and abdomen. Clients are taken through each step-by-step observation with an opportunity to ask questions to ensure they understand findings and recommended actions. High Ridge Animal Hospital offers a range of services such as vaccine scheduling, parasite protection, diagnostics, dental cleaning, aging pet programs, and nutritional counseling. Every plan adapts to your schedule and your pet’s lifestyle, whether you are home all the time, travel often, have multiple pets, or help senior animals. The clinic ensures that pet owners understand the rationale behind the independent and sequential care steps as well as which aspects are flexible while finding the best solutions for their situations. Post-visit, families receive printed and digital summaries that encompass the recheck schedule, medication instructions, and wellness benchmarks. The integration of the online tools allows patients to use mobile symptom trackers, receive alerts about next appointments and prompts for refills in order to enhance follow-up care and reduce stress. High Ridge Animal Hospital offers veterinary services in High Ridge, Missouri. We grow, learn, and evolve with the families we serve so that their pets can continue to thrive each year. Popular services include diagnostics, vaccinations, senior pet care, equine care, dental care, puppy and kitten care, cold laser therapy, allergy testing, grooming and orthopedic surgery. The facility is dedicated to offering personalized and professional services. When carrying out routine wellness plans or case management, pet owners remain confident that their pets are under good hands. Recently brought my GSD for her annual check up and shots. They had 2 emergencies just before we arrived. Due to that we waited a while, but the staff was very apologetic and made up for that by working with me on the bill!. I know people hate to wait, but as I told them, if I had an emergency with my dog, I'd hope others would be patient too. They are great with my big baby who doesn't like shots, or nail clipping or just about anything. She's still excited whenever we get there. Read Less

It is an absolutely blessing that Dr. Stair took over this practice and raised the bar to what gold standard medicine looks like; at an affordable price, I might add. Dr. Stair did surgery on my dog, Max, who grew a lump on his leg that felt like a simple fatty tumor. She recommended that we send it off for testing to make sure it wasn’t anything serious and it came back as a grade 2 mast cell tumor!! I’m glad we took that thing off!! Thank you for saving Max’s life! You and your staff go above and beyond for both me and my animals comfort! Thank you Dr. Stair!! Read Less

Thank you for not declawing cats! Any veterinarian who does not perform barbaric outdated unnecessary p3 toe amputations on a once healthy cat is tops in my book. I take my cats and dogs to a veterinarian who does not declaw cats, even if I have to travel an extra 20 minutes, it is worth it, they don't cry and whine in the car anymore like they used to when we used our ex-vet who declawed. Animals are sentient beings, not property for humans to mutilate. No wonder they used to cry on the way to our ex-vet, they were wondering if any of their body parts were going to get amputated.
