Best vet in the metro! Okay I have only been to a handful of other vets over the years, but I drive 20 minutes to Farview and would drive up to an hour. They are absolutely worth it. We love all of their doctors and staff. They are more affordable than competitors, have a walk in clinic every Saturday and they truly care. When my dog needed surgery for a nerve cancer, they did a four hour surgery with over 1,800 stitches for less than $750. I cannot say enough good things about them.

My tine 9 week old puppy (2lbs) was drooling so bad and lithargeic and they got her in on the same with within not even an hour. All staff was amazing and the doctor seemed like he really knew his job. He answered any possible questions I had plus some! Don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else!

She always does every thing she can for a pet in need. Our littlest one was a mystery case and she did not give up on her. Because of Dr. Clark we didn't loose our baby. I just don't care for this office. The office cat roams free which is irresistible to a puppy then they act like my dog is the one in the wrong. They seem to lack compassion for instance suggesting I put a healthy cat that was there for shots to sleep because of feline leukemia without mentioning many cats live for several years healthy with this. Mine is at 5 years since diagnosed. I also always seem to rack up a huge bill with items I'm not even sure I need. Will be trying somewhere new.

If it weren't for the lady at the front desk I would've given 5 stars. The place was clean, the vet was extremely helpful with a newborn kitty with a birth defect in his little tail and very understanding of my situation and took care of it for merely an office visit. I almost didn't go because on explaining to the receptionist over the phone what was going on and my financial situation she actually said in a very snooty voice "that's what you get for free". Who says that to someone who saved a pregnant cat and let her have babies in your house?! I was really mad about that, but the non blonde receptionist was extremely nice when I got in there. Price was way cheaper than my usual vet and I found though the service wasn't a+, the price, the vet and her assistant were well worth going.

Love this place! The doctors are all excellent and the entire staff is always loving on the animals. These people really care about your pets and treat them as if they were their own. They have reasonable prices and do only what is necessary for your pet to be healthy and happy. They even take walk-ins on saturdays.There are MANY other vets a LOT closer to my home than this, but it is worth the extra drive to know I am getting quality care for my pets!

My dog likes to bark at birds, falling leaves, the dog next door, my mom, squirrels, pizza delivery guys.. Really anything that moves and doesn't also feed him. The only people who have ever been able to calm him down are the ladies who work here. Even on his worst days, when he's feeling sick or if he's injured, my dog trusts these people fully. They just have a way of putting animals at ease, and that alone earns them five stars from me. But the fact that they have also helped my poor guy out of a couple serious illnesses and performed a much-needed surgery that let me bring him home safe and healthy means that this is a place I would recommend for all pet-lovers in Independence. When my dog needed them, they came through for him, and I couldn't ask for much more than that.

I just don't care for this office. The office cat roams free which is irresistible to a puppy then they act like my dog is the one in the wrong. They seem to lack compassion for instance suggesting I put a healthy cat that was there for shots to sleep because of feline leukemia without mentioning many cats live for several years healthy with this. The place was clean, the vet was extremely helpful with a newborn kitty with a birth defect in his little tail and very understanding of my situation and took care of it for merely an office visit.
