I was going to Jackson County Animal Hospital, but one afternoon my puppy got into some pills so I took her to three trails because they were open later on that day. Their expert exam and professionalism blew me away. It was a night and day difference. All the way from the facility to the reception to the vets. The vets and staff here are top notch. They all care about animals and are so helpful and understanding. I have been bringing my pets here since it was run by Dr. John on Crysler. I have brought 5 dogs and a rabbit here for care. When I had to have one of my old dogs put to sleep they provided me with a back room, privacy, plenty of time and Dr. Shrock was so understanding and compassionate with the procedure. The front office and back office staff seem to remember me and my animals when I call and are always willing to make accommodations. I can't recommend them highly enough. Read Less

I am always afraid of my pets coming home with something from another pet. They take effort into keeping things sanitized. The staff and vets takes their time to properly assess your pet. It is by appointment only, and I rarely have to wait more than 5-10 minutes to get seen. They aren't too expensive, but not the cheapest vet either. We are here all the time with our kitty, and these are the kindest sweetest caring people. They get us in super fast and always are very thorough with checking everything, asking questions and checking every possible concern and even teaching us how to administer meds when needed, and explaining everything in a way we can understand. They take such loving care of us and our pets, and are always full of smiles. They ease our stress and our pets every time.. tonight when we called very late to see if they could see us, they said absolutely and had us in within 10 minutes. I've spent years trying to find the best vet for my dogs, and after having insufficient experiences in various vet clinics, I finally found the one. Dr. Shearheart always does an excellent job, but if she is unavailable I know I will still receive great, trusting service from any of the other vets there. If i could rate this animal hospital with no stars I absolutely would. My family will never bring any of our pets that we care and love so much back here again. I also recommend to all my friends and everyone else you dont either, because you may never bring your pet home again. Last Monday my mom took our completely healthy, 8 year old Chiwienne in for a standard dental appointment. He was getting some teeth cleaned and a few pulled out. We got a phone call a few hours later that everything was going good and he was doing fine. But only to follow with another phone call to my mom saying that our beloved family member, our dog did not make it..?? No real explanation and we had even spent extra money to have his blood checked the procedure to ensure he was healthy enough. My family has lost a one of a kind family member. It has caused us much greif. My parents have always taken very good care of there animals and that's why they had taken our dog in for a teeth cleaning. And now they wished they had never taken him there. You never should expect that. I have filed a complaint with the better buisness buero. And we have contacted a few lawyers. If I can at least keep this happening to any other family I might be able to get some sleep at night again. I also hope Three trails looks over what went wrong here. Because I believe they either gave our dog to much dosage to put him asleep for the procedure or didnt wake him up fast enough. But only they know what happened and they had no explanation for us. Each time we talk to one of our friends that has a bad experience with their vet, we always recommend Three Trails Animal Hospital. Other offices will try to pressure extra meds or procedures, but TTAH does a great job of explaining the pros, cons, and cost of everything they offer so that the pet owners can make an informed decision on what is best for their pet. This animal hospital is absolutely unbeatable. From the receptionists to the doctors everyone is always so friendly, caring and attentive. They've seen our cats, our dogs and even our lizard! Other vets I've tried you walk in and feel judged and pressured, but not here. You can't beat their prices either. So reasonable, and if you do need a more expensive procedure they will work with you on payments. I like nearly 20 miles away, but this is always my first choice! It's worth the drive! Read Less

We've taken three of our dogs there and absolutely love the vets and all of the staff. One of our GSDs contracted Parvo at 7 weeks & an emergency vet told us she didn't have much of a chance, but we took her to Three Trails, and in 5 days, our little girl was completely healed!! We've been going to 3 trails for 16 years. We started when it was John Vet. We love the vets and the employees and the care they give. I do know for a fact they are much more expensive than other vets in town and the mandatory appointments can really be inconvenient. During our last visit, our dog died maybe and hour after we brought her in. We were expecting it, she was old. That's the issue. In that hour, over $600 worth of bills were made and we weren't really warned about how much all of it it was going to be. My wife even asked if all the testing was going to be worth it because the dog was old. We didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars only to have our dog die anyway, which is exactly what happened. Thank goodness the dog died before a heart test was sent off or it would've been much, much more. Overall, great care but at a very high price. They have a very nice facility and that comes with a price. We love the vets but probably won't be back with my next animal because I just can't afford to overpay like I've been doing.Read Less
