Mr cupp is the best vet and I have proof. It's not just me liking someone better... he is the best. Many years ago I took my dog to 2 other vets and were told had to put my dog down that day by one and the other said within the week. I took her for a 3rd Dr and it was Dr cupp. He told me my precious spookie had at least 3 years left, and was a simple surgery. He gave me 3 years with my dog that others weren't willing to do. Was inexpensive too. I lost my wario and Mario cats, but he also gave me extra time with them. I love my animals with all my heart and miss them dearly but if it weren't for Dr cupp, I would not have all those memories to keep, of my beloved pets. Read Less

Dr. Cupp has taken care of my cat Marty for several years now. It took a bad experience trying to board Marty at another facility for me to appreciate the friendly and helpful staff at Newmark. Dr. Cupp is old school, extremely knowledgeable, and the clinic is always nice and clean. There are new vet facility's popping up everywhere but sometimes newer isn't always better. Thanks Newmark! I recently moved to the area and was recommended Kendallwood animal clinic by a coworker. I took my dog there to get a simple check up due to her age and so she and I could get to know the Vet there. Because of her age he recommended bloodwork and I am so glad he did!! It came back that she was starting to have liver problems and if he hadn't suggested and been thorough I wouldn't have known until it was too late. I am very impressed with this Vet, his clinic and his services. I am happy we found him and will definitely recommend Kendallwood to everyone! Read Less

I would not recommend this vet to anyone. Dropped my dog off so they could do some xrays and when I picked her up she was very wet with her own pee. I don't know if they didn't take her out at all or what, also when we got home she drank a lot of water which made my think they didn't offer her any water either. The service at this clinic is not what it use to be. I won't be taking my dogs back to there. Read Less

Dr. Cupp and his staff have always been amazing. They keep it simple explaining regular care and if your pet has any other issues. They are all very knowledgable and great with all of our pets. Our sight hounds require some special care at times, and everyone has been great making sure they understand the needs of our furry family. We have been going to the Animal Clinic of Newmark for over 6 years and as long as we live in KC they will continue to be our veterinary care provider.  You can always ask questions and expect an honest answer, and that is always appreciated. My 85 year old grandmother has been a long time customer of Dr. Cupp and she loves him dearly. He has taken great care of her pets throughout the years and he is very compassionate. Our great experience ended when we came in contact with "CJ" at the front desk. She is EXTREMELY rude and she made my grandmother who had a stroke last year cry. I had a bad experience with her before but I just figured she was having a bad day but now that she has messed with my grandmother I am extremely upset. I hope she either finds another job that suits her terrible personality better or cleans up her act. Read Less

Dr. Cupp is caring and very down to earth.  He's truly knowledgeable about our pets.  We have been going to him since 2004.  He and his staff were so compassionate with us when our dog, Rosie, had end stage lymphoma. I would recommend anyone to take their pets to him. He has never tried to "up-sell" us on services that weren't necessary. The office location is convenient as well. This Clinic is run by a bunch of thieves. A quote over the phone for boarding turns from a simple 50 dollar 2 night stay into a 100 dollar barrage of shots and boosters. The problem they fail to see (after speaking with Dr Larry who didn't seem to care) is that when you get a quote, someone should stick to the quote. A simple brush up on customer service skills would do them a lot of good. I'll never go back there again after their shady practices. My first visit turned into a 250 dollar bill that I couldn't avoid as I was literally packed and ready to go out of town on business. They sure know how to put you in a position and get more money out of you. Beware of their business practices. Read Less

We have taken my 12-year-old dog to Dr. Cupp since she was a pup. She's had several surgeries through the clinic and I have always been pleased with the results. Dr. Cupp is very laid-back and willing to answer any questions, no matter how stupid you think they are. You can tell he really cares and has a passion for animals. We have been taking our pets to Animal clinic of Newmark and Dr. Cupp for the past several years. We have a lot of pets, so price and a caring vet are important to us. Dr. Cupp has always treated us and all of our animals with respect and compassion. He has also helped us to find either homes or a shelter to take stray cats that we found in our apartment complex. All of the vet techs are friendly and helpful. They also have a groomer, but we have never used her services. Prices are fair and comparable to other local vets. Read Less

I recently adopted a 1 year old dog that is a breed known for getting ear infections. I noticed that one of her ears was bright red, so I called Kendallwood and made an appt. for the next day. I arrived at the clinic and was helped immediately by a more-than-friendly staff. The vet and her staff took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on and how I could prevent it from reoccurring, as well as answer all of the other questions and concerns that I had. Vet sold me some Hairball medicine. She tried to give it to my cat while we were in the office. Cat wanted to have nothing to do with it. She sold it to me anyway and told me if she didn't like it to bring it back. Got home and tried to give it to my cat several times-still would not have anything to do with it. Took it back to the vet & she denied telling me that I could bring it back and refused to refund my $10.00. I now have a tube of Laxatone that costs me $10 and I am out $10.00 !!!!!! If they state that you can return it-get it in writing---they seem to have a short memory.....better yet take your animal elsewhere, I know I will !!!!!! Read Less
