A friend of mine 10 or so years ago started using the KC Cat Clinic, loved them, and recommended them to me. At the time, we took our cats elsewhere, and then we moved away from KC for a bit. When we moved back, the cat clinic was very near to our house, so we definitely chose them for our kitties.I believe there are four doctors there, but I have really only worked with Dr. Sundahl and Dr. Gloor. They are both fantastic! Everyone who works there is so nice, patient, and truly cares about cats. It is a very small staff, and they really take the time to get to know all of the human caregivers in addition to the cats.Now...they are very into cats and their health, hence why they focus on them. They are very interested in weight management, elder cat care, dental health, and a number of other areas. Sometimes there are lots of recommendations. These are things that can really work, but that can add up to quite an expense too. The KC Cat Clinic understands that not everyone can afford everything for their kitty. They are very good at working with people to do the essentials, and don't get overly pushy with things.Besides veterinary services, they have a variety of diet and other foods, and a little area with a nice selection of cat toys, and products. They also do a fair amount of promotions, and are awesome at letting you know when pet food companies are increasing their prices so that you can buy food before the price goes up!A few other things I like about them: once you are a patient, you can drop your cats off for their appointment, and pick them up later in the daythey call to follow up on how things are going, and always take the time to answer questions promptlythe overnight care is not too expensive, and is goodonce again, they are just so darn nice!
