My puppy had an eye injury on a Saturday morning of course and my regular vet was booked and advised me to go to the E.R. which was closed once I got there! I quickly drove across the street to N. Oak Animal Hospital in a panic and the front desk girls accommodated me very well. Dr. Johnson was awesome as I was apologizing for interrupting his normal appt. schedule with my situation. He calmed me down about the injury, and was very sweet with my puppy. If I ever need a backup vet again I'll be going there. Read Less

We have been coming here for 12 years and our dog had an open wound and they refused to treat him. Ashley elder was the first person we spoke to and she was extremely rude. My mother was clearly upset with our dog being hurt and Ashley raised her voiced and then ignored us for the rest of our time in the waiting room. She should be fired for the way she spoke to us, but then dr. Robert Johnson came and said we were in the wrong and that we should take our dogs somewhere else. He ignored the fact that there was blood running down our dogs leg and that his assistant obviously doesn't know how to speak to patients. I'm sorry but what kind of veterinarian doesn't care to treat an injured dog in front of him. The customer service was worse than a McDonald's and I highly suggest you take your animals elsewhere if you would like to ensure they will be taken care of in an emergency. Read Less

Dr Johnson is great. Both our dogs are getting into their senior years and have chronic conditions. We are very pleased with the care they receive at North Oak. Prices are on par with other vets we've visited. The staff is always polite, compassionate, and understanding. Read Less

The only reason I'm giving this place a 3 star rating is because of my experience with Dr.Roth. A few weeks ago I brought my 8 week old puppy in for a new puppy check up, and when she saw my last name, she asked me the origin and I told her it was Native American. After that, she started saying the most obnoxious and stereotypical things about my race, and asked me if I was a "real indian or a fake indian" and then started making jokes about Native Americans and casino's. I'm not someone who is easy to offend, but this was one of the most unprofessional things I have ever experienced. Prior to seeing this doctor I had always seen Dr.Bunck and she was AWESOME, but unfortunately, Dr.Roth ruined my experiences at this office and I have switched vets. Aside from her, the other dr's and the assistants are very friendly and have always taken good care of my pets.Read Less

This is a Great place to take your pet. They have always been friendly, gone out of their way to help in however they can and they take the time to give personal service. They are always patient with any questions and concerns that I have and have squeezed me in for appointments when there was no other time that I could make it. This is our regular vet, and I can't say enough good things about them.  We have taken both of our dogs to other vets and were met with untrained and uneducated staff and disgusting office conditions.  North Oak Animal Hospital is always clean and both vets we have seen are always friendly and knowledgable.  They have taken care of every problem we have had with our dog babies and we really appreciate their service.  The office is a little out of date looking, but they still deserve 5 stars from their dedication and care alone.  They even have emergency hours and a phone line you can call after hours for any medical questions you may have.
