My dog stopped eating. $1000 of tests and no explanation. I got her to eat briefly with Entyce but I had to suggest it, the vet didn't. Very disappointing experience and I wonder if I had taken her elsewhere, she might have survived. Asked for a complete accounting for the $1000 and they ignore me. Vet who put her down asked if they checked her for Cushings. They don't respond about that either

This place is outstanding. I sort of stumbled across them but they have been the vet for our 2 cats and dog since we moved to Kansas City. They prices aren’t outlandish, their service is quick and they truly care about the pets in their care. When my dog came back with hookworms the paperwork was lost in the shuffle and they paid for the medication for the delay. They always go above and beyond and it means a lot to me! We saw Dr. Rad for several years before moving across town. He and all of the staff took amazing care of our furry family member. Now, fast forward a few years, and after checking into several veterinary offices close to home, none of them have been able to compare to Dr. Rad at Red Bridge Animal Clinic. So we’re going back! I would highly highly recommend them if you are looking for friendly, compassionate, reasonably priced veterinary care.

The only 100% consistent advice we got upon moving to South Kansas City, from every new neighbor, was, "Take your animals to Red Bridge Animal Clinic." Years later, this remains some of the best advice my wife and I have ever received.
Dr. Rad consistently finds ways to educate while providing a range of treatment options. And it does not hurt that he may well be the most caring and understanding person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. On the occasions where we have needed to use the other vets on staff, they have also been great. In fact, everyone at RBAC is highly compassionate, highly competent, and I firmly believe that the care our pets have received over the years could not have been better.
Like most, we have lived through situations both happy and sad, with our pets. Through it all, the folks at RBAC have consistently gone above and beyond for us, and I cannot thank them enough. They have earned my absolute trust, and I cannot recommend them more highly.

Let me first say that we have always had a great experience with Dr. Rad. We love him. However, I will never go to Dr. Ebeling again. I took my dog in because he hurt his back. Dr. Rad was not available so we saw Dr. Ebeling. He diagnosed him with a slipped disc and prescribed an anti-inflammatory and pain medicine. When I called to let him know that he wasn€t better and that he hadn€t gone to the bathroom in 4 days, he had the receptionist tell me there was nothing else he can do and that I should call a surgeon.
I went to get a second opinion and the new vet gave my dog steroids and laser therapy. He is confident that my dog can make a full recovery and he is on his way.
I am really disappointed at the way Dr. Ebeling handled my situation and that he gave me no other option other than surgery. I felt completely abandoned by him. He didn€t even care enough to tell me himself that he was giving up, he had the receptionist do it.

I've been coming to Red Bridge for the last 4 years and have always had great experiences. I've had experience with several of their vets and all of them have provided top-notch care. They have evening hours which is great for those of us with day jobs and I've never had a problem getting same day appointments for emergencies. The staff (especially the front desk staff/vet techs) are amazing. They always gracefully put up with my rescue shepherd's extreme anxiety (peed and pooped on the floor every.time. we were there) and general assholey-ness. My best experience with them came out of one of my worst experiences. My cat died suddenly at home one morning (we think a stroke/aneurysm for those wondering). I called them as soon as they opened to find out what we could do with the body and they told us to come on up. As soon as we walked in they immediatly knew it was us (as if the crying faces didn't give it away) and they showed such empathy it was amazing. They let us say goodbye before they took her for cremation. When I went back the following week to pick up her ashes they recognized me and took the time to ask how I was doing with everything and offered their support.

I've taken my pets to Dr. Rad at this clinic since 1998, and have nothing but praise for the time and attention they give me and my beloved pets. I trust them completely to give good preventative care and to aggressively diagnose and treat any health issues. They also have late weeknight hours (until 8-8:30 pm most nights), which I really appreciate.(I should say, too, that although I most often see Dr. Rad, the other vets are excellent as well!)Update: I lost one of my pets 4 days ago, and today I received a letter in the mail from K State that Red Bridge had made a significant contribution to their veterinary program in my pet's name. I thought that was pretty amazing, and a great tribute to a pet I loved very much.

The only 100% consistent advice we got upon moving to South Kansas City, from every new neighbor, was, "Take your animals to Red Bridge Animal Clinic." Years later, this remains some of the best advice my wife and I have ever received.
Dr. Rad consistently finds ways to educate while providing a range of treatment options. This practice is amazing. I have been taking my family pets here for almost 30 years. They are so compassionate when it comes to your pets and know your name even if they haven't seen you in a while. I have had to put a few dogs down and they are very comforting.

Let me first say that we have always had a great experience with Dr. Rad. We love him. However, I will never go to Dr. Ebeling again. I took my dog in because he hurt his back. Dr. Rad was not available so we saw Dr. Ebeling. He diagnosed him with a slipped disc and prescribed an anti-inflammatory and pain medicine. When I called to let him know that he wasn€t better and that he hadn€t gone to the bathroom in 4 days, he had the receptionist tell me there was nothing else he can do and that I should call a surgeon.
I went to get a second opinion and the new vet gave my dog steroids and laser therapy. He is confident that my dog can make a full recovery and he is on his way.
I am really disappointed at the way Dr. Ebeling handled my situation and that he gave me no other option other than surgery. I felt completely abandoned by him. He didn€t even care enough to tell me himself that he was giving up, he had the receptionist do it.

The vets and nurses are great. I would give 5 stars if the front desk was a little nicer. That said, the rest of the staff makes up for it.

I've been coming to Red Bridge for the last 4 years and have always had great experiences. I've had experience with several of their vets and all of them have provided top-notch care. They have evening hours which is great for those of us with day jobs and I've never had a problem getting same day appointments for emergencies. The staff (especially the front desk staff/vet techs) are amazing. They always gracefully put up with my rescue shepherd's extreme anxiety (peed and pooped on the floor every.time. we were there) and general assholey-ness. My best experience with them came out of one of my worst experiences. My cat died suddenly at home one morning (we think a stroke/aneurysm for those wondering). I called them as soon as they opened to find out what we could do with the body and they told us to come on up. As soon as we walked in they immediatly knew it was us (as if the crying faces didn't give it away) and they showed such empathy it was amazing. They let us say goodbye before they took her for cremation. When I went back the following week to pick up her ashes they recognized me and took the time to ask how I was doing with everything and offered their support.

I've taken my pets to Dr. Rad at this clinic since 1998, and have nothing but praise for the time and attention they give me and my beloved pets. I trust them completely to give good preventative care and to aggressively diagnose and treat any health issues. They also have late weeknight hours (until 8-8:30 pm most nights), which I really appreciate.(I should say, too, that although I most often see Dr. Rad, the other vets are excellent as well!)Update: I lost one of my pets 4 days ago, and today I received a letter in the mail from K State that Red Bridge had made a significant contribution to their veterinary program in my pet's name. I thought that was pretty amazing, and a great tribute to a pet I loved very much.
