My friend used to work here and she’d tell me how horrible her job was when she worked here.
First of all, Dr. Williams liked to blackmail her employees into working shifts they clearly can’t do because they already made plans and can not work them but good ol Dr. Williams knows how to blackmail and make the employees feel guilty and guilt trip them into working the shifts.
Next is her temper. Oh my god. When I came to visit my friend at her work I got to hear Dr. Williams rage at her employees. To clean or to find something to do. She mostly raged at my friend because she had got her list done. (Dr. Williams gives her employees, mostly kennel assistants, a list of cleaning and work they have to do for the day) and when my friend got done with it she would help the front desk because that was what she was TRAINED to do. But Dr. Williams would yell and scream at her. Even in front of customers! Which is NOT right
Now this next one pisses me off so much! My friend suffers from many mental disorders, including depression and she had a massive depression episode on a day that was supposed to me her day off. But one of the employees didn’t work that day so Dr. Williams tried to blackmail her and my friend said she can’t come because she didn’t feel well so Dr. Williams (who doesn’t care for her employees) calls her house at 6:00 in the morning and wakes up Her parents and tells them that she had to work today. So my friend got up and went to work. She told me she didn’t do much because of how bad her depression was that day but she finished half of her list and sat in their break room to rest and try to stop crying. Until Dr. Williams came in and yelled at her! “YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE CLEANING!!!” My friend told her that she was having some very bad Depression but Dr. Williams didn’t care. She told my friend to either start cleaning or be fired!
Dr. Williams is a HORRIBLE employer and vet. She needs to get her issues under control and shut her doors. Or get her issues under control and learn more people skills then open up a hospital!
If anyone has any questions about what this vet does to her employees. Let me know and I will share my knowledge of her abuse towards her employees!

Dr. Williams always took the time and consideration to answer my questions about my dog's well-being, physically and emotionally. She genuinely cared about my dog and my dog loved visiting with her. The staff has always been very friendly and professional towards me. But never did I expect this facility, staff or Dr. to go above and beyond. I ran into an unfortunate situation where I needed assistance with placing my dog in a forever home and this facility, Dr. and her staff helped more than I can ever say. I was always happy with my service there but their extended commitment, compassion, and devotion to helping beyond just my dog's physical well-being is priceless. This is the type of facility, Dr. and staff you want your furry loved ones to go to!

We love Dr Laura, she and the practice became like an extension of our family when my very old, diabetic dog was in his final run with major health issues. They were very patient with me as I started to accept what was happening with him and were extremely sympathetic while I said my goodbye.
We have 3 other dogs (one other that had to be put down only months later), and each dog is given excellent attention by Laura and her staff. I absolutely love this office and vet. They mean the world to our fur family.

If I could put a negative I would. This place should be shut down and Dr. Williams should lose her licence. Appalling treatment towards employees, constantly has an attitude and superiority complex and constantly lies through her teeth. She is absolutely crazy, ive met people who refuse to go back because of her attitude and other businesses feel bad for her employees because of how she treats them. Punishes people for the hell of it. No one should EVER give this place their business. Highly unethical (example, Dr. Williams giving a review of 5 stars on her own business, or her constantly contradicting herself in a conversation) and downright negative environment to be in. I will never take an animal here again and neither should anyone else.

I've had pets my whole life and Dr. Williams is, hands down, the most compassionate and dedicated veterinarian I've ever met. A pets' bedside manner is important to their patients, but also their patients' owners and she has the ability to make both as comfortable as possible. Our cats probably would not have made it past their first year of life had it not been for Dr. Williams and her staff. Grooming and boarding services are good too. It's nice knowing that they're in good hands when we're on vacation or the just need a trim. Thanks to Southport for all of your efforts!

Dr. Laura Williams is an amazing woman and veterinarian! She and her supportive and caring staff make you feel at home and that your pets are in good hands. All the staff and especially Dr. Laura herself, takes€ the time to make sure you understand what's going on with your furry children and what your options are. I know that when my pets need to see her that everything will be explained in full and I will be given a very experienced opinion on what is best for my furbabies. Suggested a dental cleaning for $268.00! The most I have ever paid for that is $150.00. Prices out of sight. The first exam was supposed to be free, as their sign out front clearly states. When I got ready to leave they tried to charge me for the exam. I won't be going back for sure.

I recently switched to this vet and have nothing but good things to say. The staff is very personable and they genuinely care about the well being of your pets. The first time I went I showed up when they opened without an appt bc my dog was sick and needed attention ASAP. The whole team there was very understanding of my concerns and got my pup in right away and followed up over the following days. Prices are affordable and I will definitely be going back for everything moving forward!

My cat turned up at home, missing part of his tail and appeared to be in great shock. Dr. Laura performed surgery, and my cat is doing well. This was several years ago, and I no longer live in LS, but I would trust my pets with Laura in a heartbeat, to this day. I have known Laura and worked with her, when we were teens, and she had excellent work ethics even when we were teenagers. I lived with her as we attended college, and saw how much she enjoyed the field of employment she had chosen (unlike me). My cat is alive and well. Thanks Laura.

Dr. Laura Williams is amazing! I have a dog that has a lot of behavior issues and unfortunately doesn't do well with new things. Dr. Laura and her vet techs are very understanding and took their time to get to know Mikko (my dog) and did not rush her at all during the exam. Although she isn't stoked about going to the vet, she isn't as stressed as she was before and she knows she'll always get a Vienna sausage before she leaves! On top of their great customer service skills, ...she is also very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions and give recommendations. I would have never thought my dog was Hypothryoid had she not mentioned her concern at her low-energy behavior, and now my pup is back to running and playing with toys! She is also very active in rescue and almost always has animals up for adoption, which just makes me love their clinic even more. See More

With Dr. Williams guidance I was able to nurse her back to health and she is a thriving young dog now! My friend used to work here and she’d tell me how horrible her job was when she worked here.
First of all, Dr. Williams liked to blackmail her employees into working shifts they clearly can’t do because they already made plans and can not work them but good ol Dr. Williams knows how to blackmail and make the employees feel guilty and guilt trip them into working the shifts.
Next is her temper. Oh my god. When I came to visit my friend at her work I got to hear Dr. Williams rage at her employees. To clean or to find something to do. She mostly raged at my friend because she had got her list done. (Dr. Williams gives her employees, mostly kennel assistants, a list of cleaning and work they have to do for the day) and when my friend got done with it she would help the front desk because that was what she was TRAINED to do. But Dr. Williams would yell and scream at her. Even in front of customers! Which is NOT right
Now this next one pisses me off so much! My friend suffers from many mental disorders, including depression and she had a massive depression episode on a day that was supposed to me her day off. But one of the employees didn’t work that day so Dr. Williams tried to blackmail her and my friend said she can’t come because she didn’t feel well so Dr. Williams (who doesn’t care for her employees) calls her house at 6:00 in the morning and wakes up Her parents and tells them that she had to work today. So my friend got up and went to work. She told me she didn’t do much because of how bad her depression was that day but she finished half of her list and sat in their break room to rest and try to stop crying. Until Dr. Williams came in and yelled at her! “YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE CLEANING!!!” My friend told her that she was having some very bad Depression but Dr. Williams didn’t care. She told my friend to either start cleaning or be fired!
Dr. Williams is a HORRIBLE employer and vet. She needs to get her issues under control and shut her doors. Or get her issues under control and learn more people skills then open up a hospital!

Dr. Williams always took the time and consideration to answer my questions about my dog's well-being, physically and emotionally. She genuinely cared about my dog and my dog loved visiting with her. The staff has always been very friendly and professional towards me. But never did I expect this facility, staff or Dr. to go above and beyond. I ran into an unfortunate situation where I needed assistance with placing my dog in a forever home and this facility, Dr. and her staff helped more than I can ever say. I was always happy with my service there but their extended commitment, compassion, and devotion to helping beyond just my dog's physical well-being is priceless. This is the type of facility, Dr. and staff you want your furry loved ones to go to!

Our first visit to Southport with our newly adopted Maisy. Dr Williams and the staff were friendly, professional and down to earth. I was impressed with how Dr. Williams got on the floor to engage Maisy. Our first visit was free and the vaccines were very reasonably priced. It wasn't a fancy smancy place but full of puppy love. We love Dr Laura, she and the practice became like an extension of our family when my very old, diabetic dog was in his final run with major health issues. They were very patient with me as I started to accept what was happening with him and were extremely sympathetic while I said my goodbye.
We have 3 other dogs (one other that had to be put down only months later), and each dog is given excellent attention by Laura and her staff. I absolutely love this office and vet. They mean the world to our fur family.

If I could put a negative I would. This place should be shut down and Dr. Williams should lose her licence. Appalling treatment towards employees, constantly has an attitude and superiority complex and constantly lies through her teeth. She is absolutely crazy, ive met people who refuse to go back because of her attitude and other businesses feel bad for her employees because of how she treats them. Punishes people for the hell of it. No one should EVER give this place their business. Highly unethical (example, Dr. Williams giving a review of 5 stars on her own business, or her constantly contradicting herself in a conversation) and downright negative environment to be in. I will never take an animal here again and neither should anyone else.

I've had pets my whole life and Dr. Williams is, hands down, the most compassionate and dedicated veterinarian I've ever met. A pets' bedside manner is important to their patients, but also their patients' owners and she has the ability to make both as comfortable as possible. Our cats probably would not have made it past their first year of life had it not been for Dr. Williams and her staff. Grooming and boarding services are good too. It's nice knowing that they're in good hands when we're on vacation or the just need a trim. Thanks to Southport for all of your efforts!

Dr. Laura Williams is an amazing woman and veterinarian! She and her supportive and caring staff make you feel at home and that your pets are in good hands. All the staff and especially Dr. Laura herself, takes€ the time to make sure you understand what's going on with your furry children and what your options are. I know that when my pets need to see her that everything will be explained in full and I will be given a very experienced opinion on what is best for my furbabies. Suggested a dental cleaning for $268.00! The most I have ever paid for that is $150.00. Prices out of sight. The first exam was supposed to be free, as their sign out front clearly states. When I got ready to leave they tried to charge me for the exam. I won't be going back for sure.

I recently switched to this vet and have nothing but good things to say. The staff is very personable and they genuinely care about the well being of your pets. The first time I went I showed up when they opened without an appt bc my dog was sick and needed attention ASAP. The whole team there was very understanding of my concerns and got my pup in right away and followed up over the following days. Prices are affordable and I will definitely be going back for everything moving forward!

They have been incredible, calling us every day to update us on how he's doing and taking time out of their busy schedules so we can come visit him every day. It's hard not having your babies at home and knowing that they are sick, but knowing what a caring and amazing staff they have makes it a little bit easier on these parents to fur babies.

My cat turned up at home, missing part of his tail and appeared to be in great shock. Dr. Laura performed surgery, and my cat is doing well. This was several years ago, and I no longer live in LS, but I would trust my pets with Laura in a heartbeat, to this day. I have known Laura and worked with her, when we were teens, and she had excellent work ethics even when we were teenagers. I lived with her as we attended college, and saw how much she enjoyed the field of employment she had chosen (unlike me). My cat is alive and well. Thanks Laura.

Dr. Laura Williams is amazing! I have a dog that has a lot of behavior issues and unfortunately doesn't do well with new things. Dr. Laura and her vet techs are very understanding and took their time to get to know Mikko (my dog) and did not rush her at all during the exam. Although she isn't stoked about going to the vet, she isn't as stressed as she was before and she knows she'll always get a Vienna sausage before she leaves! On top of their great customer service skills, ...she is also very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions and give recommendations. I would have never thought my dog was Hypothryoid had she not mentioned her concern at her low-energy behavior, and now my pup is back to running and playing with toys! She is also very active in rescue and almost always has animals up for adoption, which just makes me love their clinic even more. See More

With Dr. Williams guidance I was able to nurse her back to health and she is a thriving young dog now!
