The Veterinary Center of Liberty has been my dog's primary veterinarian since I moved to Liberty a few years ago, and I couldn't be happier. You will not find people who genuinely care more about your pet. I've heard people say that this clinic is too expensive, and to that I say, you absolutely get what you pay for. If you want a veterinarian who will just bring you in a room, give you pet a few vaccines, and send you on your way, then sure, go wherever you like. If you want a veterinarian and staff that will treat you like family, do everything they can to ensure your pet's health, and provide your furry friend with the best care possible, then the Vet Center is the place to go.The Vet Center, owned by veterinarians Al and Lori Rohlfing, is staffed by four veterinarians, a handful of registered veterinary technicians, four or five groomers, several receptionists, and numerous kennel staff. Every person I have ever met at this business is friendly, cheerful, and very helpful. I am in the area a lot, and I always see the kennel staff out walking dogs. Rain, wind, snow, or shine, those dogs are getting some exercise! For yearly checkups, the staff will take the time to check your pet from head to toe. They will show you what they recommend for your pet, and why. Prices for vaccines, heartworm testing, examinations, and preventative medication are fair and comparable to other clinics. When I lived in my old apartment, my dog used to struggle with skin issues related to allergies. Dr. Glenn was very tender when examining my little guy, and took the time to write out a "treatment plan" for him, detailing what medications she recommended, as well as things I could do at home to make him more comfortable. The next time I saw Dr. Glenn, quite some time later, she asked about how his skin issues were doing. The Veterinary Center of Liberty also offers doggy daycare (Dogs Unlimited Daycare), boarding, and grooming. During daycare, you dog will be walked three times throughout the day, and have one or two sessions of monitored playtime with other dogs his or her size. I've taken my dog several times, and I think it was only something like $12. He always comes home exhausted. I have also boarded my dog a few times and have never found any reason to be unsatisfied. I think they take your dog to daycare, too, if you board them?I could go on and on about this place, but I'll leave it at this: if you are near the Liberty area at all, I would recommend the Veterinary Center as the place you should trust to care for your pets.
