Since 1996 Vetco has offered pet owners affordable, high quality vaccinations, treatments and diagnostics for their dogs and cats at clinics inside your neighborhood Petco or Unleashed store.
A licensed veterinarian administers the shots and tests at each clinic, with help from an experienced crew. Not to be confused with other operations, we only operate safely inside pet stores, not outside on the sidewalk or in the parking lot.

I literally spend so much time at this Petco I know the names of every single employee. Not sure if that is embarrassing or not, but whatever. So why do we go here so much? One reason: Trainer Laura. ...
I literally spend so much time at this Petco I know the names of every single employee. Not sure if that is embarrassing or not, but whatever. So why do we go here so much? One reason: Trainer Laura. She is the creme de la creme of dog trainers. My husband and I literally visited 5 different places, and sat down with 5 different trainers before we went with Laura. We visited places that costs around $1500 for training, and truly, we were willing to fork out the money to have a well behaved, smart, and mentally taken care of German Shepherd. Of course to some that might seem crazy, but if you have a GSD you HAVE to get them in training or else it will just be a destructive dog, with an even more frustrated owner. So finding the right trainer was crucial. After meeting Laura once, we knew she was the perfect fit for us. She is also a GSD owner, which was awesome, but more than anything, she knew how to talk to us, to our dog, and we just connected with her. We may be in a class with a few other dogs but Laura is professional, patient, and knows how to balance the class. She is knowledgeable, and has the experience and credentials to prove it. She won't just be our dog trainer, but a friend to us. She has given us great tips and advice that has effected the life of our dog and us. It's crazy to think that just a Pet Co dog trainer would have that sort of impact, but Laura just is that awesome.My one negative complaint is that the store is just too small and does not offer enough space for training. Obviously, this is not Laura's fault but it would absolutely improve training at this location.We like to typically purchase food/toys/etc. at Pet Supplies Plus because we love that they provide food for St. Louis County K9's, and want to support that business, but Pet Co has really great prices too.

Sean is very helpful and knowledgeable. He spent over 1/2 hour with us tonight showing us around and teaching us about different pets. He's so awesome!!

I have always had nothing but exemplary service here with our Son's dog in the Pet Grooming Department. Very consistent! Kudos to Crista, Don, and my favorite Ashlie.

Thomas Raymond needed a new collar. One of the plastic prongs was broken, which was pointed out by the groomer Tuesday, when I picked up the boys.I didn't even know that, because I don't EVER take his collar off.Thinking this was an urgent situation, so Thomas Raymond doesn't lose his collar (which includes his rabies vacc, name and address, chip 800 number, etc.), I went quickly.Into the store. No greeting. No associates around. I found the collar/leash section.I'm not getting Thomas Raymond pink, purple or chartreuse. And I didn't want to get him blue, because Jacob Mitchell has a blue collar.And I didn't want to get him black, since he's a black dog.Beyond that there were other offerings.I finally figured out that the collar sizes are in levels. Small/very small are on the bottom. Next level up is medium. Next level up is large/extra large.It would have been helpful to have an associate explain this to me, rather than my figuring it out after 15 minutes of perusing the offerings.First I went towards gray. Thought better of that. And got red. It works. Thomas Raymond likes his new collar.Checkout was a breeze. The only person with whom I interacted. She was very friendly.This is not a store to which I would return.I needed help.Nobody was around.

I walked into this Petco on a Tuesday afternoon and was helped by a knowledgeable young man. We'll call him Dr. J. He was very helpful and seemed to know quite a bit about aquariums. I asked for his card and told my wife I had found my new "fish guy".On Friday I come in again with my daughter to let her pick out a new fish. i had called ahead to make sure Dr. J is working but when I got there Dr. J had apparently been replaced by Mr. H.I honestly cannot remember ever being treated this rudely. He completely ignored us until he decided he needed to put a tag on the tank my daughter was looking at. He actually told her to 'get out of the way'. Eventually I got his attention and was informed (in a completely unapologetic manor) that he had received a shipment of fish and he did not have time for me. They would not be selling any fish for at least an hour.At this point I told my daughter in a voice loud enough for anyone an the area to hear: 'Don't worry sweetie, I'm sure PetSmart sells fish.'i will never, ever go to this store again.

This is where my pet goes! Put my puppy through the basic training class and WOW she is a completely different dog!! Thanks Mary!! Even after class she would hang out and answer any extra questions I had i.e chewing, crate training etc. I have a big puppy and I can actually walk her on a leash now. Anytime I go in now she knows her by name. Would have gotten 5 stars but feel that the stores lay out is just too spread out and all over. Even though I have been going in there for a while still feel like I haven't mastered it like I have the grocery store. Things always get moved around it seems. But don't let discourage you though, I continue to go since I know that I can ask someone to direct me. I wanted to try a certain brand of treats for my puppy and forgot what they were called but knew what they looked like. Had two woman stop what they were doing and found them for me.

I literally spend so much time at this Petco I know the names of every single employee. Not sure if that is embarrassing or not, but whatever. So why do we go here so much? One reason: Trainer Laura. She is the creme de la creme of dog trainers. My husband and I literally visited 5 different places, and sat down with 5 different trainers before we went with Laura. This is where my pet goes! Put my puppy through the basic training class and WOW she is a completely different dog!! Thanks Mary!! Even after class she would hang out and answer any extra questions I had i.e chewing, crate training etc. I have a big puppy and I can actually walk her on a leash now. Anytime I go in now she knows her by name. Would have gotten 5 stars but feel that the stores lay out is just too spread out and all over.
