I scheduled an appt to have my cat declawed and notified them when I made the appt of my cat having leukemia. My cat is 6 months old and was diagnosed at 1 month and 18 days. They told me that was not a problem. The day before surgery, they called and told me they wanted the vet to speak to me about the pros and cons of surgery since my cat does have leukemia. I went in just to be told that she will not do the surgery because of the chance of the cat not surviving during surg...ery. She went on to tell me that Feline Leukemia is a death sentence and only has a life span of 18 months. My regular vet said my cat can live a long healthy life. This vet also told me she can euthanize the cat for $40 and proceeded to tell me that's what people normally do when their cat is diagnosed with Leukemia. Just because my cat has leukemia does not mean she should die. Ok if she doesn't want to declaw but I'm not sure why she would suggest euthanizing a cat that has no signs or symptoms of being sick only a diagnosis. I left in tears and will NEVER go back and will NEVER recommend her. See more

Dr Ramsey is without doubt my 1st choice for a vet in Springfield (even if I have to drive to Nixa to make it happen). She's done several procedures for my dog and both her bedside manner and her stitches are some of the most impressive I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot). She isn't the cheapest vet in town but as always, you get what you pay for.

Dr. Ramsey has been my vet for about 10 years now. I have nothing but amazing things to say about her and her practice. Dr. Ramsey was one of those vet students who finished school early because she was so smart. I bet she was even top of her class back in college and ver school. She offers her amazing talents to her clients and their owners at more than reasonable rates. The proof is in the pudding though, as they say. Molly has been with my family and I through many events in our pets lives. She had the unfortunate job of helping me to put down my first dog. This must be one of the hardest things for a vet to do, especially after caring for the dog for years and seeing it as a puppy. She did it with such concern and care for us. Her ability to comfort us and help us during such a sad time was quite unexpected. On the other end of the spectrum, and most important: Dr. Ramsey saved my dogs life. My 3 year old golden retriever came down with some rare disease (idiopathic chylothorax as it would eventually be named). I brought the dog in for unusual breathing I noticed. Doctor Molly took x-rays, identified a build up of fluid in his chest, and drained over 2 liters of chylous fluid out of my dogs chest. She recommended we go to the vet school at the University of Missouri to talk with their specialists. She even offered a voucher to help me cover the cost of the visit because I was a college student at the time and she knew it would probably be hard for me to afford all of this. I didn't listen to her though. Instead I immediately went to a specialist in St. Louis because I had a family there and it seemed more cost effective than going with her recommendation. They examined my dog," in St. Louis and gave me the diagnosis I mentioned above, as well as recommending that I give up on the dog and put him down. Like most people who care about their pets, I wasn't ready to give up. So I went to the MU clinic like Dr. Ramsey recommended. A few surgeries later, they had saved my dogs life. He is still alive and happy and healthy today. There is no better veterinarian in the area than Dr. Ramsey. You read my story. This lady and this place could save your best friend's life... they saved my best friend's life. :)

I met Dr Ramsey when she was a partner at a practice near Galloway Station. We clicked immediately. She was always sincere, caring and compassionate. We rescued and found homes for several animals and every single time, she was there for us. I remember rushing to the office when I accidentally ran over our cat Nilla. She consoled me and my girls, her staff was gracious enough to give me a change of clothes and clean the inside of my car (yes, it was a bloody mess). She always treated us like family. I'll never forget when she told me she was moving to Nixa area. I told her I'd follow her because I thought she was that awesome. We did follow her to Nixa, and again, she took great care of our pets and us! She's a phenomenal knowledgeable vet! I highly recommend her to anyone!

We have taken all of our animals to Dr. Molly (4 dogs, 1 cat) over the last 9 years. She and her wonderful staff have provided first-rate care to all of them. I can't recommend a veterinarian more enthusiastically than I do Dr. Ramsey and Nixa Animal Hospital. In 35 years of pet ownership I can honestly say I have never had a vet with more expertise and compassion. I continue to drive from Springfield to Nixa to make sure my animals remain under her care.

I don't know where to start with how bad the visit was compared to the other Vet with the same dogs over the years. The first Red Flag was when the dog "or pet" out of the room away from the owners watchful eye. The second Red Flag was when the dog return immediately goes between me and the wall and under the furniture never done that before. Without talking or asking any info the UP-Selling starts right off. Never been so mad or disgusted with a business in my life. Our dog Miley cowering under the chair in the corner and the huge hit to the bank account no second chance here. Miley has not pulled out of it total she final came out of bathroom some time during the night. Going on how mad I am with all of it won't change a thing and it won't fix anything. I will be making the 45 minute drive the opposite direction to our old Vet.If you want ripped off go to Nixa Animal Hospital. Facebook staged photo shoot don't tell the real story of the place.

Dr. Molly Ramsey has been caring for our animals for several years. They don't hesistate to jump in the car when we say "let's go to Dr. Molly's!" She's very thorough in her exams and makes sure to explain everything to us. She's just as good at soothing anxious pet parents. She's even come to our home for house calls and is always available for questions, even by cellphone or text. When prescribing medications or recommending treatments, she always takes cost into consideration. She once called four area pharmacies to find the cheapest place to get our prescription filled. Her staff is every bit as wonderful. She keeps up with the latest technologies and developments in the field, and consults mentors and specialists to help explore all options. I not only recommend her to all our friends; I wish she could be my doctor!

"Dr." Ramsey when I said that it might be aflatoxin from corn in our compost kept correcting me by saying alfatoxin........which it is not....it is called aflatoxin. She also kept saying that it might be something "congeneral" I was wondering if maybe this was a word I was unfamiliar with, but thought she might be meaning to say "congenital" which is in fact a word. However she continued using the word congeneral, which is not a word. I should have taken my dog out of their sooner. Now my beloved family pet lives in a box on the shelf. It's your call, but this was my experience.

I scheduled an appt to have my cat declawed and notified them when I made the appt of my cat having leukemia. My cat is 6 months old and was diagnosed at 1 month and 18 days. They told me that was not a problem. The day before surgery, they called and told me they wanted the vet to speak to me about the pros and cons of surgery since my cat does have leukemia. I went in just to be told that she will not do the surgery because of the chance of the cat not surviving during surg...ery. She went on to tell me that Feline Leukemia is a death sentence and only has a life span of 18 months. My regular vet said my cat can live a long healthy life. This vet also told me she can euthanize the cat for $40 and proceeded to tell me that's what people normally do when their cat is diagnosed with Leukemia. Just because my cat has leukemia does not mean she should die. Ok if she doesn't want to declaw but I'm not sure why she would suggest euthanizing a cat that has no signs or symptoms of being sick only a diagnosis. I left in tears and will NEVER go back and will NEVER recommend her. See more

Dr Ramsey is without doubt my 1st choice for a vet in Springfield (even if I have to drive to Nixa to make it happen). She's done several procedures for my dog and both her bedside manner and her stitches are some of the most impressive I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot). She isn't the cheapest vet in town but as always, you get what you pay for.

Dr. Ramsey has been my vet for about 10 years now. I have nothing but amazing things to say about her and her practice. Dr. Ramsey was one of those vet students who finished school early because she was so smart. I bet she was even top of her class back in college and ver school. She offers her amazing talents to her clients and their owners at more than reasonable rates. The proof is in the pudding though, as they say. Molly has been with my family and I through many events in our pets lives. She had the unfortunate job of helping me to put down my first dog. This must be one of the hardest things for a vet to do, especially after caring for the dog for years and seeing it as a puppy. She did it with such concern and care for us. Her ability to comfort us and help us during such a sad time was quite unexpected. On the other end of the spectrum, and most important: Dr. Ramsey saved my dogs life. My 3 year old golden retriever came down with some rare disease (idiopathic chylothorax as it would eventually be named). I brought the dog in for unusual breathing I noticed. Doctor Molly took x-rays, identified a build up of fluid in his chest, and drained over 2 liters of chylous fluid out of my dogs chest. She recommended we go to the vet school at the University of Missouri to talk with their specialists. She even offered a voucher to help me cover the cost of the visit because I was a college student at the time and she knew it would probably be hard for me to afford all of this. I didn't listen to her though. Instead I immediately went to a specialist in St. Louis because I had a family there and it seemed more cost effective than going with her recommendation. They examined my dog," in St. Louis and gave me the diagnosis I mentioned above, as well as recommending that I give up on the dog and put him down. Like most people who care about their pets, I wasn't ready to give up. So I went to the MU clinic like Dr. Ramsey recommended. A few surgeries later, they had saved my dogs life. He is still alive and happy and healthy today. There is no better veterinarian in the area than Dr. Ramsey. You read my story. This lady and this place could save your best friend's life... they saved my best friend's life. :)

I met Dr Ramsey when she was a partner at a practice near Galloway Station. We clicked immediately. She was always sincere, caring and compassionate. We rescued and found homes for several animals and every single time, she was there for us. I remember rushing to the office when I accidentally ran over our cat Nilla. She consoled me and my girls, her staff was gracious enough to give me a change of clothes and clean the inside of my car (yes, it was a bloody mess). She always treated us like family. I'll never forget when she told me she was moving to Nixa area. I told her I'd follow her because I thought she was that awesome. We did follow her to Nixa, and again, she took great care of our pets and us! She's a phenomenal knowledgeable vet! I highly recommend her to anyone!

We have taken all of our animals to Dr. Molly (4 dogs, 1 cat) over the last 9 years. She and her wonderful staff have provided first-rate care to all of them. I can't recommend a veterinarian more enthusiastically than I do Dr. Ramsey and Nixa Animal Hospital. In 35 years of pet ownership I can honestly say I have never had a vet with more expertise and compassion. I continue to drive from Springfield to Nixa to make sure my animals remain under her care.

I don't know where to start with how bad the visit was compared to the other Vet with the same dogs over the years. The first Red Flag was when the dog "or pet" out of the room away from the owners watchful eye. The second Red Flag was when the dog return immediately goes between me and the wall and under the furniture never done that before. Without talking or asking any info the UP-Selling starts right off. Never been so mad or disgusted with a business in my life. Miley has not pulled out of it total she final came out of bathroom some time during the night. Going on how mad I am with all of it won't change a thing and it won't fix anything. Dr. Molly Ramsey has been caring for our animals for several years. They don't hesistate to jump in the car when we say "let's go to Dr. Molly's!" She's very thorough in her exams and makes sure to explain everything to us. She's just as good at soothing anxious pet parents. She's even come to our home for house calls and is always available for questions, even by cellphone or text. When prescribing medications or recommending treatments, she always takes cost into consideration. She once called four area pharmacies to find the cheapest place to get our prescription filled. Her staff is every bit as wonderful. She keeps up with the latest technologies and developments in the field, and consults mentors and specialists to help explore all options. I not only recommend her to all our friends; I wish she could be my doctor!

We had a young dog who started going into liver failure and I took her here. We no longer have a dog. "Dr." Ramsey when I said that it might be aflatoxin from corn in our compost kept correcting me by saying alfatoxin........which it is not....it is called aflatoxin. She also kept saying that it might be something "congeneral" I was wondering if maybe this was a word I was unfamiliar with, but thought she might be meaning to say "congenital" which is in fact a word. However she continued using the word congeneral, which is not a word. I should have taken my dog out of their sooner. Now my beloved family pet lives in a box on the shelf. It's your call, but this was my experience.
