Dr. Rose has been taking care of our furry family members for over a decade! We feel that she loves our pets as much as we do.
Many years ago when our Toy Poodle became sick, she did everything possible to give him quality of life during his last days, which helped our family get through that difficult time too.
Now she cares for our cat and two dogs.
Dr Rose is an incredibly knowledgeable, professional and caring vet.
Her staff is just as kind, friendly, helpful and responsive to our needs.
We also board our pets there when we are out of town. We know they well cared for while we are away.
We wouldn't think of taking our pets anyplace else!

They have worked my baby in numerous times and have never made me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience. They genuinely care and I wouldn't trust anyone else 😊

I have been going to PHAH for over 15 years. Dr. Melissa Rose is absolutely wonderful. She is patient, compassionate, and clearly spoken. I have also seen Dr. Barr on a couple of occasions, and again it was a wonderful experience. The office staff is great, too. Everyone understands that our fur babies are indeed a member of our family. Simply stated, there is a true sense of caring.

PHAH is a fantastic vet hospital! The staff is super friendly and very easy to talk to when booking appointments or calling in for results. Dr. Rose is such a kind and caring vet! She took great care checking out our two “old ladies”. I really felt like she understood what our goals were with the girls and didn’t push anything we weren’t interested in. We needed some dental care for one of our dogs and it went really well! I’m so happy to have found a place when I can trust that my pets will be taken good care of!

I was at a different Vet for a few years in the KC area, and switched to Parkville Heights because I didn't feel that Amityville truly cared about my pet. The vets and techs at Parkville Heights genuinely care and I was super impressed from my first visit. They didn't try to recommend every possible vaccine. They even explained why my pet didn't need a vaccine that I thought they needed - since Amityville had really pushed it. They are more reasonably priced and their care is 10x better. I love them!

That's just the tip.... when I walked in and told the wonderful young lady my Lab was collapsing and in the car still, she was ready and hopped up to assist.
She walked in on her own and after that I will say that Dr. Kaiser has a manner about her next to none. When she or her assistants walked into the room it was all about my Dog. and what the issues were, poured out tons of info and what could be done and was just not only an animal lover but so compassionate. Dr kaiser walked in and I could tell the prognosis was not good.
Dr. Kaiser said..... I'm going to break your heart. SHE KNEW this dog was my best buddy. we had to let Ella go. I would recommend Parkville heights to anyone who is looking for a Vet that cares about YOUR best friend. We have our dachshund who is pretty young still and I guarantee you will have to brick up the doors before I stop going there. Thank you to the entire staff who helped us through a painful event. thanks for being a friend I needed Saturday.

Our profound gratitude to Drs. Rose, Barr and Kaiser and to each and every staff member for the love and care they have given our Joy during an 18 month long battle with lymphoma which ended tonight with her comfortable on our bed. Dr. Barr handled Joy's chemotherapy with such love and compassion Joy was always eager to come. They have always made our four dogs feel loved whenever they saw them. We are so grateful for the extra time we had with our precious tiny dancer. She was 35 lb of pure love. Thanks everyone so much!

I was at a different Vet for a few years in the KC area, and switched to Parkville Heights because I didn't feel that Amityville truly cared about my pet. The vets and techs at Parkville Heights genuinely care and I was super impressed from my first visit. They didn't try to recommend every possible vaccine. They even explained why my pet didn't need a vaccine that I thought they needed - since Amityville had really pushed it. They are more reasonably priced and their care is 10x better. I love them!

We have taken our pets to Dr. Rose for a number of years. I love her compassion and dedication to my dogs and their health. The staff is wonderful and very helpful as well- specifically those at the desk and the techs- all very kind and loving towards my animals- Courtney specifically has been wonderful to us. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

It is hard to beat their boarding prices. My fraidy-cat dogs love these women! The groomer is very good. Their treatment recommendations are conservative when possible and aggressive when need be....

We absolutely LOVE Parkville Heights Animal Hospital! Last year our sweet Zeus had pancreatitis and no one would listen to us (at our previous vet office). We then decided to try PHAH and have been content ever since. Dr Rose saved our sweet boy, she's a great vet. All of your staff has been great. I've been recommending this place to all our friends and family.

That's just the tip.... when I walked in and told the wonderful young lady my Lab was collapsing and in the car still, she was ready and hopped up to assist.
She walked in on her own and after that I will say that Dr. Kaiser has a manner about her next to none. When she or her assistants walked into the room it was all about my Dog. and what the issues were, poured out tons of info and what could be done and was just not only an animal lover but so compassionate. Dr kaiser walked in and I could tell the prognosis was not good.
Dr. Kaiser said..... I'm going to break your heart. SHE KNEW this dog was my best buddy. we had to let Ella go. I would recommend Parkville heights to anyone who is looking for a Vet that cares about YOUR best friend. We have our dachshund who is pretty young still and I guarantee you will have to brick up the doors before I stop going there. Thank you to the entire staff who helped us through a painful event. thanks for being a friend I needed Saturday.

Our profound gratitude to Drs. Rose, Barr and Kaiser and to each and every staff member for the love and care they have given our Joy during an 18 month long battle with lymphoma which ended tonight with her comfortable on our bed. Dr. Barr handled Joy's chemotherapy with such love and compassion Joy was always eager to come. They have always made our four dogs feel loved whenever they saw them. We are so grateful for the extra time we had with our precious tiny dancer. She was 35 lb of pure love. Thanks everyone so much!

The staff will be there for you through good times and bad. They genuinely love their patients and treat their clients with respect. Dr. Barr and Dr. Rose see your pets as members of your family and will dedicate their time and effort to making sure they live a happy and healthy life. I live an hour away, but it's worth the drive when you need someone who cares and is as knowledgable as these ladies.
