I have used Dr. Jackson and his staff at Jackson Animal Clinic for 29 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. We have had cats, dogs and horses. The staff here is always very polite and helps me with any concerns I might have. If they can not answer my question, they find out and someone always calls me back. Our pets are an extension of our family. All of the staff here are so nice and very helpful. They do get busy at times, but only because so many other people trust and love the care they give. Nice people. But, very disorganized. On all but maybe one occasion, they neglected to provide all the necessary service or medications, although they are the ones that sent us the email reminders to bring in our pet. It appears that one hand doesn't know what the other is doing most of the time. They will blame it on being busy. That is not excuse. A loved one's health is at stake. This has been our experience. It may not be that way for all. However, it seems odd that they forget things just about every time we go in for service. Read Less

On February 5th we did the hardest thing we ever had to do and I'm only able to talk about it now. Our sweet baby 🐕 was 13 and his health was failing due to heart failure. We spent months giving him 4 different pills but after awhile he refused to take them no matter what we tried. The one thing we didn't ever want was for him to suffer and with his condition he was having so much trouble just breathing. We called Jackson's and they got us right in. We were assisted by 2 women but I was so upset that I didn't get their names. I want to make sure they know how much we appreciate their kindness & compassion to our baby in his time of need. I cant say enough about the groomer at Jackson Animal Clinic!! I have my long haired cat groomed twice a year and this woman does an excellent job!  I used to get my cat groomed at Pet Smart and it was twice as much! Im so greatful to have such a great place close to me. Read Less

My cat Cowey came home one day with a terrible limp. After giving it a day I realized it wasn't healing on its own, and appeared to be dangling. I took him to my local vet at FMA hospital. They x-rayed his leg and it showed he had a nasty fracture with a complete break along his humorous that they stated they could not pin. FMA offered an amputation at 1600 and said an operation to keep would run around 3k at other clinics. I began calling around to try to salvage his leg despite what many vets had said about them not realizing the implications of losing a limb. I felt he was too young to lose such a key component of his life. After calling around to 10+ local clinics to get quotes, most clinics said they could only amputate. Only Jackson Animal Clinic replied with a reasonable price - to pin his bone for around 1000 dollars to be able to keep his leg. I scheduled an appointment immediately. Dr. Valerie Partch was the lady that said his leg was salvageable and was the vet scheduled to perform the surgery. When I took him in she was very kind and reassuring about the process. She called me after it was complete and offered status updates on him as he recovered. She's an amazing vet! I'm writing this 6 weeks post op to confirm that the surgery was a success. Cowey is able to use the injured leg completely now, walking and jumping around as if nothing had ever happened! I would recommend this clinic for their great staff and reasonable prices. Even though this clinic is around 40 minutes from me I'm now a loyal customer that will not go elsewhere!Read Less

Horrible experience! We picked our dogs up from boarding (just over a holiday weekend because our regular vet was booked up) only to realize that one had a bad UTI (he did not prior), and the other now shakes when she sees a leash (didn't before, so I can only guess that it's from associating the leash with being taken here). The receptionist had an attitude when I called to express my concern, and when the vet finally returned my call, he had a "What do you want me to do?," attitude. He did not offer an apology or refund of any kind (which I did not specifically ask for because I wanted to give them the chance to make things right), nor to pay any vet bills incurred at our regular vets office for treatment of the UTI. I would definitely not recommend taking your pets here to board. Read Less

After only having 2 options for an Ortho Surgeon for a femur surgery for astronomical pricing I couldn't afford and the thought of having to put her to sleep, I stumbled across Jackson Animal Clinic by accident. After Dr. Jackson reviewed the received X-Rays then speaking to him, I knew he was the right one for the operation. He's knowledgeable, experienced and thorough with information. His staff members are great too and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I live downtown but making the drive up North to PC is completely worth it. Dr.  Jackson and staff are the best vet hospital around. My Bassett became real sick right when we moved to PC and Dr. Jackson literally saved his life. He was very open minded about the treatment plan and listened to my questions and concerns. He even attended a conference on the disease processes of my dog so that he could help him in the best way possible. Overpriced and lacking service.  Didn't even listen to me about alternative medications/treatments we could possibly use for our dogs severe allergies.  Went on post, for at least $200 CHEAPER and her allergies are under control within 3 weeks. Read Less
