My first experience with this animal hospital was a positive one. I suspected that my cat had a food allergy, so I changed his diet and had already seen improvement but not complete recovery. The doctor agreed that it was probably a food allergy and didn't try to convince me to do a bunch of tests or sell me some prescription cat food. Instead, he gave my cat a cortisone shot to help stop the remainder of the itching and sent me on my way. I appreciate the honest help without any push to sell me things I didn't need. The staff and vets are always on the job. If there is a question the staff can't answer, they go out of their way to find someone who knows. Dr. Beachner has been the vet for our family for a very long time. She is very knowledgeable and knows how to handle even the most stubborn animal, big or small! i wouldn't take my four-legged children anywhere else! Read Less

I wish I could get this place negative Stars. The way they lied to me and referred me to The Biggest Loser in the city makes me not want to trust anything they have to say. Who would trust an opinion from somebody that can't give you a good referral! They are all so friendly and professional. The dr we saw was very thorough and helped us solve and ear problem for our bulldog that we had been working on with our other vet for 6 months. Willard isn't miserable and itchy anymore and we can sleep through the night again!! My husband was even impressed. The doctor got down on the floor with Willard to introduce himself and to love on him while he was doing the exam. We have definitely found a new vet we love!!!Read Less

I've been coming here since 1995 when I got our first cat after moving here from South Miami. It's always been a great experience and a pleasure working with the veterinarian's there and the staff. I've taken 3 different Rottweilers there and have always found them very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the breed and how to care for them. I highly recommend all their services. I've taken my pets to Raytown Gregory Animal Health Center since I moved to Raytown 21 yrs ago. The girls at the desk are friendly and very helpful. All the Vets are knowledgeable and listen to your needs as a pet owner. Dr. Chirpich has always followed up with a phone call whether it was for blood work or just to see how she (Storm) was doing after a follow up visit after a trip to the emergency vet. Dr. Beechner is highly competent, customer friendly, and enjoys interacting with dogs. Probably why she has four of her own dogs. And, Dr. Beechner goes out of her way to explain diagnosis and treatment. The ladies at the front desk are great, too!
