He's friendly, personable, professional, affordable and you can tell he genuinely cares about dogs. The staff is also terrific. I cannot say how pleased I am with the quality of service Winston and I received with Dr. Fanning. If you are looking for a new veterinary clinic with very reasonable prices check this place out! ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Fanning. He's been the only vet that has seemed to care enough to go out of his way for my dog & me. Excellent bed side manner. Never had any issues. Everything he's recommended has ALWAYS worked and my dog is healthier bc of simple things. I never hesitate to use him. He has never not called me back. Took my baby boy Jackson last month for a skin condition. They were absolutely amazing with him. It was great to see the staff show so much love for the animals. They are great to each other too, as a dog owner brought his dog in it started pooping everywhere. Fanning family pet care is probably the best veterinarian clinic in the in the country Chris and Ashley are awesome vets Chris has been a family friend and our vet for many years and I would not trust my animals with anybody other than Chris or Ashley they saved one of my Boston Terriers he had some sort of blood disease and we almost lost him but thanks to Chris and Ashley they got it figured out and we still have our patches words cannot explain how much I love this office they go above and beyond to make sure our pets are taken care of there's not enough stars on this page to show how much there are worth because 5 stars is not enough they are worth millions of stars you could not ask for a better veterinarian clinic thank you to the whole Fanning staff for helping us get through losing our beloved Dixie Read Less

I had rescued a stray that became part of our family. He was loving an kind hearted. The most amazing dog in the world. Then we got the results back that he had heart-worm and that it had gotten so bad that he really didn't have a chance and that our only positive way was to put him down. I have never in my life seen anything like it . I was completely heart broken . Each an everyone of the staff was the most outstanding people I had ever met . Dr. Fanning does not even deserve one star. I don't know who these people are who say he's compassionate but he didn't show me or my cat an iota of compassion. He prescribed a medication which she had a violent reaction to and after I called crying thinking she was dying he NEVER DID RETURN MY PHONE CALL. He walked out of the room while I was still asking questions and trying to give her a history, I guess because our time was up. I'm filing a complaint with the state board. Not only do they really care about the health of your pet, but they also realize that being a pet owner can be expensive and are sensitive to the cost of quality health care for your furry babies. When I first moved to the Springfield area I was absolutely shocked at how expensive it was to get my dogs their annual exam.  At Fanning I was able to get all three dogs taken care of for what it would have cost to get one done at any Springfield Vet.
