I called this clinic at 7:30 AM sobbing one morning. My little 2 month old Peppers was having bloody dihareea. They immediately got me an appointment and I walked her up there. This clinic is fantastic. We had to book an appointment though their website around 10 pm at night. We were able to get in at 8:30 to see a vet, even though our animal was not a regular patient there. The receptionist, Noel was so caring and compassionate. We met Melanie, one of the vets, and she was so knowledgeable and caring. She explained the issue with our dog and offered and called another hospital that could perform the surgery on our dog. She also gave the time we needed to talk over options. Everyone that we came in contact at this location was very nice and made sure we understood everything that was going on. This was the first time using Bogey Hills Animal Hospital. My mother's dog was really sick and had to be euthanized. They were so caring and understanding. I was able to stay with Sassi until she was gone and they allowed me some time alone with her afterwards. We had her cremated and before I left they gave me a little box with her paw print in it. My first visit. Will never go back!!! Brought my dog in for fresh blood in his stool but vet said there was no blood in the stool sample i brought in. Thats funny because it was there when i picked the poo up!! The Vet didnt introduce herself to me and didnt bother to even acknowledge my dog much less my anxious dog or offer any compassion or comfort to him!! I had to introduced myself and him to her and she showed no interest in my dog at all. She wanted to examine him on the table, which is normal, but I advised against it because I know my dog and he is fearful and anxious at the vet. Once she got him on the table you could see his fear and anxiety and all he wanted to do was get down. He was in no way aggresive in the least; he wont even fight back dogs that have tried to get him. Instead of having compassion for an already anxious dog, they traumatized him more with a brute force i have never seen at a vet during examination. If you are a good vet, you can see what will traumatize an already traumatized dog more and not do it or continue to do it!! Then they have the nerve to complain about him and ask if he is always this bad at the vet. Never, he has never ever been as fearful and anxious as he was there, never!! Read Less

I was so nervous about finding a vet for my cat, Lancelot. I adopted him about 6 months ago, and he got fleas pretty badly. Every single person at Bogey Hills was amazing. They were kind, understanding, and helpful. From the ladies at the desk who were quick to check me in, to the tech who kissed him on the nose to help him swallow a pill, to the vet who answered all of my questions and assuaged all of my fears, the whole staff was great. Worst experience ever. Don't ever go here. Most unethical vet I've ever been too. Paid extra for local anesthesia and then had to listen to my dog cry bloodymurder in the back room for over 5 minutes. They obviously didn't give him anything. Other people in the office commented to me on how horrific the sound was and how terrible it was they they didn't give him anything for the pain. Then they charged me $40 to bandage the wound when the first bandage fell off as we walked out of the office (my dog didn't even touch the bandage for this to happen... just walked)!!!! Are you kidding?! And then the vet refused to come out an talk with us after she charged us twice what they committed to. $250 for a toenail. Don't ever see Dr. Cross. Be warned, the people at this place are not concerned about your pets well being. I'll be going back to Cave Springs Vet Hospital - I recommend them 100%. Would have gone there if it weren't a last minute emergency.Read Less

I just found out that they are under new ownership and are pushing for their vets to do unnecessary things to animals when they come in with an issue so they can charge more money. I have noticed the past few times I have gone that they are charging outrageous amounts. I finally found where Dr.Clapper went and thats where I will be going. My family has been bringing our pets here for 20 years and we will no longer be going back. Shame on bogey hills for trying to take advantage of their loyal customers. Read Less

Bogey Hills Animal Hospital is the ONLY place I would ever take my babies! They know my pets are truly family to me and they treat them as if they are their own!!! In the past year Dr. Turner has been there when I bring them in.. I honestly have never met a kinder, more empathetic doctor!!! My dogs love her!!! I trust her advice as if it is written in stone..the tech and all the girls are just awesome!! Their prices are cheaper than most and they always get me same day appointments If necessary!Read Less

I have taken my animals here for some time, but have been so impressed with the level of care that I finally thought to post a review here.Just had my cat's teeth cleaned and was very worried since she has asthma too. My cat was in great hands with Dr. Clapper who I know has my cat's best interest in mind. When my husband and I moved to a new home with a 3 month old baby and needed to house our cat somewhere during the moving process, Bogey Hills Animal Hospital gladly took Brazil in and she loved her time there.
