I’ve taken my pets here for years. It is easy to tell how much all the doctors and staff genuinely care for animals. Appointments are always easily made, even when you need to get your pet in last minute. Staff also follows up after appointments to check in on your pet. We love Harvest Plaza! We have been taking our dogs there for 20 years. They have seen us through adopting new rescues with advice and words of encouragement to saying tearful goodbyes in the passing of 3 of our beloved pets (elderly) with great compassion and caring. I have been taking my fur babies to Harvest Plaza Animal Hospital for years and years.... They treat my babies with loving care, they are very gentle with them and talk to them just like they are kids (which is the way I want to them to treat them!!) I had to put 1 of my babies to sleep there, and the care and tenderness that they showed me and my baby was appreciated VERY VERY much.... I think the girls there almost started crying with me, they had tears in their eyes themselves. That is what I want from my vet--I don't want to be just another number to them. I have been bringing my dog here for about 2 years now maybe, and I decided to make the switch to another vet. Harvest Plaza Animal Hospital was always nice to me when I'd come in, but they were very much not personable, and every time I'd come in, I'd see another vet, even if I'd call ahead of time to make an appt, and ask to be with a certain vet, i'd still get put with someone else. The only time I really loved it there, was when I brought my sick dog in to have emergency x-rays. Dr. Amy was the vet I saw, and I felt amazingly comfortable with her. She explained things to me like no other vet there ever has, and she was super nice and personable. She even called me the next day to check up on my dog due to her illness. I thought that was amazing. But every time Id make another appointment, I'd ask to be with her, and the front desk ladies would tell me I was with her, but then i'd get to my appt, only to find out I was with an other dr. I did not appreciate that one bit. And any time I'd call in for medicine or stop in to pick it up, I'd have questions about things, and the one front desk lady would look at me like I was stupid and would have very snotty remarks to say to me, as if i should know the answers to my "dumb" questions. So although this business is literally right across the street from me, I decided to go elsewhere. Convienence is nice, but when you are that impersonable, and don't take the time to get to know my dog, nor myself, I'm not giving you my business anymore. As with most pet owners, my pets are my children, and if I'm going to continue to bring them somewhere and god forbid have to put them down someday at your facility, i want you to know me and my dog, and i want my dog to know you as well.Read Less

I've started taking my dog Gracie to Harvest back in the early 2000s when I moved to St Charles. We had to put her down in 2010...I was devastated. The staff was very compassionate during this time. It took three years for me to get over the loss of Gracie when I met Brooks at the Pet Adoption Center on Mid Rivers Mall Drive. It was love at first sight all over again for me :) I knew that Harvest would take great care of Brooks just like you did for my Gracie. Thank you so much for being there for me and my pets. We had four family fur doggies at one time. Taking good care of them was Harvest Plaza's priority. Because of the excellent care given them three lived long lives. Oreo lived to be 15 1/2 years old, Sheeva lived to be 14 years and our last was our Westie who lived an incredible 17 1/2 years. We still have our Boston Terrier Roxy and wouldn't trust any other clinic with her. W already have the best and during times of having to let go, you can not find more compassionate staff than these wonderful, caring doctors and techs. Read Less

Absolute CHAOS. I called and explained my situation to the receptionist very clearly and told her if the Vet can't help let me know and I won't even make an appointment. She said she understood and the vet could help. Once I got there I sat and sat with my pet screaming as they ushered in other patients that came in after me and gave me some BS excuse that we were waiting on a "Cat" room. We finally got into a room where a 100 dog just was and the Vet said she CANT help. Oh by the way here is a 50 dollar charge for doing nothing and my staff and I are unable to communicate. These vet could care less if an animal dies or not so don't waste your time or money on this vet. Read Less

Rearranged their schedule a bit to get my dog in due to my travel and last minute illness. Couple days later I was in the plaza at dmv and stopped by without an appointment to update that there was no progress...right there on the spot they gave me a new prescription.
