The people who have left positive reviews either aren't paying attention to Dr Wilson's negligence or they are just clueless.
I'm not going to tell my story again. You can find it on Yelp and maybe on Google if it hasn't been taken down, which is how Dr
Wilson and his horrible assistant MELISSA, choose to deal with pet owners complaints after they murder their pets. Don't apologize--by all means--just go silent and avoid the many, many complaints, rather than apologizing and taking some accountability for their actions, or more accurately, their LACK OF actions. Apologies won't bring our beloved companions back, but it would make them look less like murdering, callous, cold blooded MONSTERS. If ever there was a vet that should RETIRE QUICKLY rather than building a huge brand new clinic...this is the one. If a malpractice suit could be proven and won against a vet, this place definitely would not be open. Or it might be open, but with a new vet that actually cares about pets and owners and a new assistant that doesn't laugh when your furbaby behaves as if she's had a stroke while in their care, or hand your companion to you frozen in a trashbag when you go to pick up.
Please. Think about it. Do your research and don't take your pet here. It's been 2 years since they killed my child, and I STILL CRY because she would still be with me if I hadn't taken her there. You don't want to feel the pain that I feel every. single. day. The loss is unimaginable, and the heartache is irreparable. I will never be the same.

Saw my 10 year old girl on 5/20 as a new patient. Diagnosed with collapsing trachea more by the recording I had than anything else. He listened to her chest briefly but no other type of examination....
Saw my 10 year old girl on 5/20 as a new patient. Diagnosed with collapsing trachea more by the recording I had than anything else. He listened to her chest briefly but no other type of examination. Called him on Tuesday 5/24 due to her continuing violent coughing, gave me Baytril and "cough tabs", Called Friday 05/27 as coughing was still the same. Advised by office staff (no discussion with the vet) to give her Benadryl in am and pm and call them Tuesday if she's not any better. She died Saturday 5/28 at the Emergency Clinic due to enlarged heart, congestive heart failure and fluid in her chest. Collapsing trachea was a secondary diagnosis and NOT what caused her death.

I'm surprised by the 3 previous negative reviews. I have been taking my dogs there for about 6 years and never had a negative experience. By the way, the photo shown here of my dog has been squashed by the website. He is not that short or that fat. lol. Anyway, I have recommended him to several friends and they all really like him. I'm surprised by the negative reviews. The first one about not having time to see some ones dog. If all of the other vets they tried also had no ability to see their dog I wonder why they didn't go to the 24/7 Emergency Vet? I've been there many times and they are always open.

I am writing this post to hopefully help anyone looking into Dr. Wilson's clinic, Country Club Veterinary Hospital from going through the same heartache me and my family have went through when we needed them the most. Here is our story, our dog, Angel, that we loved so much was having labored breathing, was unable to stand on her own, had an accident in the house, something she had NEVER done so we knew her condition was critical. We called Dr. Wilson's office as soon as they opened Monday morning and was told we are to busy to see her take her elsewhere, being the week before a holiday no one else was willing to see her and said we should take her to her normal vet. We called CCVH back and was told sorry we can't get her in till THURSDAY AT 4PM! We told them she would not make it that long and were told sorry that is all we can do. Our Angel dog passed away the next morning laying in her spot right behind my chair. I am not writing this to hurt or harm anyone I am only writing it to hopefully keep someone from being heartbroken and let down when they need thier vet the most.

I worked for Dr. Wilson. Do not go there. He is a pathological liar, and horrible vet. Very cruel when people cannot see what he is doing to their pet. He pulls diagnoses out of thin air with not doing any diagnostics. He is well known behind the scene in the veterinary world. I saw some real horror stories while there! I am not a disgruntled employee I am being honest so your pet will not suffer at his hands. If I could have given him a minus 5 stars that would have more accurately reflected his ability as a Vet and his seriously lacking compassion.

If you want your animals to get treated like cattle instead of members of your family, be sure to take them here. My wife just watched him slam our dog on the table and yell at the top of his lungs because he was scared and freaking about getting his nails trimmed. She warned him that our dog would do that.
He showed zero patience for our dog and totally lost his temper and us as long time customers.
I think its time to retire Dr. Wilson.

Doc. Wilson is the best! I have been taking my girls here for years. My girls love their Doc. When I lived at Rose wood I would walk them I'd ask where is you're doctor? And they would tug me to go across the street to Doc Wilson. I had to take them to a different vet only once and I hated it! So did my girl. I will be moving up north and will miss them. Doc Wilson is so caring and what ever my girls have EVEN a heart attack my girl had they always get better! Thank you for all you have done for my girls. We will miss you all!

Dr. Wilson has cared for a cat I owned, and now my two dogs. He has never been wrong in a diagnosis, and has sometimes known what is wrong simply by watching my dogs walk into the building from the exam room window.
He is a excellent doctor. He is honest, and cares a great deal about his furry patients, and the people who care for them. The staff are pleasant and informed.

Dr. Wilson is amazing! He is honest and doesn't try to sell you thing you don't need. He understands that not every pet owner has a ton of money and he will tell only recommend the essentials. My pets are always a nervous wreck whenever I've taken them to the vet but Dr Wilson has a way about him that puts then at ease. I recommend him to everyone I know. I am so thankful to have found country club veterinary hospital!!

I had a Maltese experiencing COPD he called a specialist with experience in Heart matters, and was able to add to Precious life! She was 14 years old, and he took great care of her, and my current pet. If your wanting "E-Mails, Text Messages and Fancy Equipment" this is not the place, BUT if you want a VET with experience on how to take care of your pet then this is the place! The whole staff is very caring!!
