Cheap, great service. Brought my dog in bc he was throwing up a lot, other vet offices wanted to do a test for parvo and Dr visit cheapest I coups find otherwise was over 100$. When I saw the Dr he didn't find any reason to do that test, gave my dog a full exam and caught him up on his shots and only paid 53$. The staff was amazing and Dr was so friendly and forthcoming about what needed to be done as to save my time and money and not spend anything else other than what was necessary! If I could give a worse review I would! I called them needing help with a kitten that had gotten stuck with a fishing lure in both its back and front paw which caused them to be stuck together causing it to not be able to move and obviously made it freak out more on top of the pain it had to be going through. I needed them to help because I am coming from north of Willard and no one in Willard would help us. So while my nine year old daughter is crying hysterically holding this poor kitten the lady here told me they close at noon and didn't have time. I called before eleven o clock maybe closer to ten. I took her to emergency vet( a lot further away) and they had her done and OK within 45 minutes. It upsets me to know they care more about going home than helping an animal in need!!! Fantastic No Frills Vet. Love their services. I have been to other veterinarians in town, and left paying hundreds of dollars to with "clinic fees" and "vet exam fees" and lots of random fees adding up to hundreds of dollars for a healthy dog yearly visit..... I am really sceptical of the negative reviews on here, because people obviously haven't been to other vet's in Springfield limits. Yes, you can always pay less at some big animal vet out in the middle of no where, but in springfield the Vets are extremely expensive!!! (seriously do your research) I think Dr. B's Vet Clinic is outstanding! I can always get in here in a timely manner. He and his staff are kind, patient, and sweet to my dog. The vaccines are reasonably priced and the veterinarian is kind and explains everything that's going on. They can do in house procedures (spay etc.), and offer many options for lots of things. My pup is always treated well here and she's not even scared to come in any more. No, the building is not shiney and updated, but who wants to pay for that? This is a reasonable vet's office, where they put their efforts into caring and treating your pets. Dr. B is knowledgeable and researched on many new medications for your pets. They are not pushing their dog food on their clients, but listen to what you want to do for your pets, and go from there. Truly outstanding service. I refuse to give this place a good review i wouldnt have even put one star but i had to. After i paid $127 dollars for them to look at my very sick 4 month old pit they simply said he will be fine gave him iv fluids and sent him home no blood work nothing. 8 hours later he passed away. I knew he was sicker then they lead on but there was nothing i could do. I will boycot this vet with every ounce of my soul. They money was never the issue i just wanted my baby better. And because of this bastard my daughters heart is broken and i lost my baby. This man sgouldnt even have his license. Read Less

Charge me out the rear for medication.They knew the SKIN and EAR problem my German Shepperd has but did vary little to help her the first time and charged me a bunch of money.And they knew i had taken her several times to different vet before and received little help for her skin issue .I LOVE my dog but hate that the vets wont help her just want my money is how i feel about it!I went there to see if they could sell me some medication for my dog her skin problem "THEY KNOW ABOUT". NO they say i have to bring her in AGAIN so they can charge me 50 more dollars and OVER charge me for the meds.SKIN problem NOT pain pills or something a drug addict might take.Its just pathetic !!! NO worries I have found a vet that cares about the suffering of mine and my moms pets.Thank GOD Almighty.I remember years ago North Side didn't help a kitten my Brother had found and was dehydrated and dying.Because he was laid off work and didn't have the money they would not help.He even offered to come and clean cages or what ever they would not HELP!That kitten that he just found sick on the side of the road died.MONEY is all some people care about.My Dog is being treated by a different VET and for what I consider fair price for his services. My mom has been taking my pups (when they stay in Springfield) to Northside for a few yrs now. Today was my first time to meet Dr. Scott Boschen. He was very professional and thorough in examining both of my Chihuahuas. They have Saturday appointments and late appointments throughout the week which is great for those who work. Seems a bit pricey for an exam, but I have no idea what the going rate is in Springfield and I am not about to change at this point. The office is clean, well-kept and staff professional and considerate and caring. I know "considerate and caring" is ridiculous to write in relationship to veterinarians or veterinarian technicians, but some act like they couldn't care less about an animal. Oy vey! My mom made a good choice with Dr. Boschen and I will continue to take my pups there for his care. Read Less
