Please do not bring your pet here. They require that you leave the dog in the car while you check in, but I had to park far away, and my dog only weighs 11 pounds, so I just held him. Rather than help me, the staff just stood there looking angry that I had the audacity to bring my dog. When I picked him up, he could hardly lay down and would randomly scream in agonizing pain. Conveniently, they stop taking phone calls at the same time that you pick your pet up. Don't let your pet suffer, take them somewhere that will actually take care of them.

I find this whole process confusing. The paying up front, the many ways they can keep your money and not do the service. Like so many Springfield business. Its not customer service its how can the customers serve the business. Trust me if you have a regular vet your so much better off. If its close to the same price. They also have a 20 point got u sign off that could add tons to the cost or just send you home with no Service. Also if you are delayed to pick up your dog at 3:00 their info says they send your pet to the pound. Sure wish I'd used my regular vet. Thought I'd save gas due to the Springfield location. Plus 7:15 drop off with a 7:40 window. Also no refunds. This business model doesn't work for me. Think twice b4 using the saaf house.

Cheap place to go. Took months to get my dog in after officially setting 3 planned appointments and paying ahead of time.

They took such good care of my cat when I got him fixed and they paid so much attention to how he was reacting. I was feeling a little nervous about leaving him there overnight since he was a rescue and hasn't really known any life outside my home but they were able to reassure me. His nerves were getting the better of him so it turned out I was able to pick him up that day. Everyone there was very understanding and reassuring. They made sure I knew exactly how to take care of my boy afterwards.
It definitely didn't hurt that they're the cheapest place in town.

I would have given this business five stars, however, it took me several weeks of calls and stop ins (hours of operation said open but doors locked) before I could get an appointment to spay my puppy....
I would have given this business five stars, however, it took me several weeks of calls and stop ins (hours of operation said open but doors locked) before I could get an appointment to spay my puppy. The staff is friendly and comfortable with animals. The price is very reasonable compared with Veterinary service operations. They do an amazing service for the community!

While dropping off my dog he was understandably rather nervous when I turned to leave, so then instead of trying to soothe him in order to get him on the scale the lady said he’d do better if I left and then proceeded to start PULLING in the lead around his neck with Force. Hopefully this doesn’t cause him to be aggressive towards them. Bad experience, I won’t go here again.

My 53 pound bully/rot mix Jasmine had literally no next day side effects , I literally had to keep her calm the next day cause she acted like nothing happened to her .. for being in Springfield mo this place is very fair with their prices . They also do once a month vaccination which in the future I will be taking all 7 of my dogs to get vaccinated . This place is awesome very friendly lots of compassion just a great place . This place gets a lot of business so I recommend going in to set up appointments

Not only do they make it affordable to spay and neuter your pets but they take such good care of them! They service is exceptional and the employees are wonderful! They are friendly, kind and even though they are always busy they don't rush you in "kissing your babies farewell" for the day. But at the same time check in and pick up is very quick (as far as paperwork). I've had two puppies spayed and micro chipped here and would absolutely take a future pet here. I don't know of my girls are just REALLY good or if it's the wonderful care Saaf took in closing their incision but neither of my girls messed with theirs AT ALL! I genuinely can not say enough good things about Saaf house or it's veterinarians and assistants! Please help control the homeless and abandoned pet population as well as lost pets! Call them today and schedule your appointment!

Only $25 to get a feral cat fixed. I've taken 3 in (I rented a trap from saaf house) and all were well taken care of. They have an organized system which works. I'm thrilled this service is available in Springfield.

Nothing but the highest praise for SAAF. We took our family dog, Callie, there to be spayed and get current on her shots. It was so easy to make the appt/pay and sign up for text/email reminders. Day of spaying went super smooth. Those folks function like a well oiled machine. During both drop off & pick up, each staff/volunteer I came in contact with was friendly and explained the process/offered opportunity for questions. Will definitely refer others, who may not be having their pets spayed/neutered due to budget issues, to SAAF. Thank you SAAF.

Of course, the vet visit cost us a fortune and as soon as Freddy was old enough we wanted him neutered, but at the time funds were low and someone told me about this place. I didn't believe them, to good to be true. Well, we took Freddy there and sure enough they are the sweetest people and they didn't charge me a dime. Freddy grew up to be a gorgeous kitty

This place did an outstanding job . My 53 pound bully/rot mix Jasmine had literally no next day side effects , I literally had to keep her calm the next day cause she acted like nothing happened to her .. for being in Springfield mo this place is very fair with their prices . They also do once a month vaccination which in the future I will be taking all 7 of my dogs to get vaccinated . This place is awesome very friendly lots of compassion just a great place . This place gets a lot of business so I recommend going in to set up appointments

Tremendous place! The staff was so kind and thoughtful. They seemed to love the animals that came in just as much as the "Mom's and Dads". The cost was so affordable too!

Not only do they make it affordable to spay and neuter your pets but they take such good care of them! They service is exceptional and the employees are wonderful! They are friendly, kind and even though they are always busy they don't rush you in "kissing your babies farewell" for the day. But at the same time check in and pick up is very quick (as far as paperwork). I've had two puppies spayed and micro chipped here and would absolutely take a future pet here. I don't know of my girls are just REALLY good or if it's the wonderful care Saaf took in closing their incision but neither of my girls messed with theirs AT ALL! I genuinely can not say enough good things about Saaf house or it's veterinarians and assistants! Please help control the homeless and abandoned pet population as well as lost pets! Call them today and schedule your appointment!

Only $25 to get a feral cat fixed. I've taken 3 in (I rented a trap from saaf house) and all were well taken care of. They have an organized system which works. I'm thrilled this service is available in Springfield.

Tail in the air rubbing on our legs being lovable! Absolutely pain free and not drugged up! So happy this place was referred to us! Nothing but the highest praise for SAAF. We took our family dog, Callie, there to be spayed and get current on her shots. It was so easy to make the appt/pay and sign up for text/email reminders. Day of spaying went super smooth. Those folks function like a well oiled machine. During both drop off & pick up, each staff/volunteer I came in contact with was friendly and explained the process/offered opportunity for questions. Will definitely refer others, who may not be having their pets spayed/neutered due to budget issues, to SAAF. Thank you SAAF.

Of course, the vet visit cost us a fortune and as soon as Freddy was old enough we wanted him neutered, but at the time funds were low and someone told me about this place. I didn't believe them, to good to be true. Well, we took Freddy there and sure enough they are the sweetest people and they didn't charge me a dime. Freddy grew up to be a gorgeous kitty

No way I could keep an unneutered male. Now Loki has a great home, and he's going to be with us for many years to come.
