I've been taking my dog and cats to Spring Valley for years. When Dr. Betson retired I was eager to meet the new vets. All of them have been WONDERFUL! They've been amazing in helping me manage my senior dog's heart condition and over all health. They're equally amazing with my two cats. One of whom is completely calm no matter what, and one who does NOT like the vet and is very vocal about it. The vet techs and office staff are top notch and always extremely helpful. There's no other place I'd take my pets.

What really sets this place aside from the rest is how caring the staff is. Even when they are busy, I never feel rushed as they stay calm and friendly and take time to answer all my questions. I especially like working with Darla because she always has our pups best interest at heart. She listens and understands and always has accurate information. She is always personable, knowledgeable, and I really appreciate her thoughtfulness! She makes me feel confident and gives me peace of mind knowing we are doing the best for our fur babies.

I took my dog to get her vaccines today and was very happy with the visit. Everyone on the staff is so friendly! I am planning to bring my other dog for her vaccines in a couple of weeks, and even though she does not handle things like that well at all, I am confident she will be in good hands! I definitely recommend this place; clean, the people are nice, and it's affordable!

We live in Ohio, but were in town for work. While there, our 7 month old puppy began behaving strangely and was having issues urinating. I called the office early in the morning in a full panic. After explaining my situation, they told me to bring her on in right away. The entire staff was caring, compassionate, and kind. They figured out that she had a UTI almost immediately, and took the time to explain everything to us, including some info I was not aware of. They had meds all ready to go in no time, and made sure we understood how to administer, and that we were comfortable doing so. I could not be happier with our experience. As often as we are in town for work, I am so glad to know that there is a vet where we can receive top notch care. Icing on the cake: we didn't have to sacrifice care for costs. Very reasonable pricing.

The people were very nice and friendly. It was very clean and all that but, I didn't really get an answer to what was wrong with my dog. The vet just kinda said well I don't know and gave us antibiotics. Also it was very expensive, it was $100 to get him checked out. And the visit alone cost $47.

Every single person I have met that works here has been beyond lovely. After moving into Springfield, I have visited a few different vets around the city and Spring Valley has, without a doubt, the greatest staff and they have been consistently wonderful with their care for my pets. In the time that I have been seeing them for veterinary services, I have had to bring in two of my pets for emergency visits. I never left feeling overwhelmed or as though I didn't fully understand my pet's condition. Dr. Skinner and Dr. Berlin were both very patient with my concerns and knowledgeable in their explanations. I could not recommend any of the veterinary hospitals in the area more highly than Spring Valley.

I went to Spring Valley multiple times. The front secretary was rude and but my big problem is I went to them many times about concerns for my dog. They pushed them aside charged me for what seemed like unneeded shots for something other then what I was coming to them about. I only came to them because I recently had moved to Springfield and driving to south ozark was inconvenient. I ended up going back to my old vet this past week. And my dog ended up needing emergency surgery for the issues I was concerned and went to them about. So thank you spring valley for wasting my time, my money, and putting my dogs life in jeopardy.

As a first-time pet owner, I'm really glad I picked Spring Valley as my regular vet clinic. Their charges are fair, their advice is always genuine and correct, and their staff is friendly and compassionate 100% of the time.Since I adopted my cat in June, I've come here for his regular check-ups, his baby shots, his awful flea epidemic, and as of last week, a really freaky situation in which he ate something he shouldn't have. Apart from one instance, I've always interacted with Dr. Ragan, and she's always been magnificent, both in handling him and helping me understand everything I need to know.Edit: Dr. Ragan is now Dr. Wantuck!

They did job I hired them for (spaying), but they did it at more than the competition (for a non-laser spay), with no bedside manner what so ever. I had a 2 minute consult with the vet (which I was charged for) in which I asked questions and was answered with "OK" and "We'll look into it". I realize as a vet you don't need to have good bedside manner since your client doesn't speak, but the person paying for the client does and I will never take my dog back or let any of my friends and family. I went in nervous and scared (this is my first puppy) and I came out nervous and ticked off. Look elsewhere for your laser surgery needs.

I've been taking my dog and cats to Spring Valley for years. When Dr. Betson retired I was eager to meet the new vets. All of them have been WONDERFUL! They've been amazing in helping me manage my senior dog's heart condition and over all health. They're equally amazing with my two cats. We live in Ohio, but were in town for work. While there, our 7 month old puppy began behaving strangely and was having issues urinating. I called the office early in the morning in a full panic. After explaining my situation, they told me to bring her on in right away. The entire staff was caring, compassionate, and kind. After moving into Springfield, I have visited a few different vets around the city and Spring Valley has, without a doubt, the greatest staff and they have been consistently wonderful with their care for my pets. They did job I hired them for (spaying), but they did it at more than the competition (for a non-laser spay), with no bedside manner what so ever. I had a 2 minute consult with the vet (which I was charged for) in which I asked questions and was answered with "OK" and "We'll look into it". I realize as a vet you don't need to have good bedside manner since your client doesn't speak, but the person paying for the client does and I will never take my dog back or let any of my friends and family. I went in nervous and scared (this is my first puppy) and I came out nervous and ticked off. Look elsewhere for your laser surgery needs.
