I started taking my new puppy to cave springs animal hospital since the end of March of 23. He’s 17 weeks old. Had his first check up and shots and a fecal test. I had him in there on April 24th 2023...
I started taking my new puppy to cave springs animal hospital since the end of March of 23. He’s 17 weeks old. Had his first check up and shots and a fecal test. I had him in there on April 24th 2023 for his last round of shots and his rabies shot. Now today May 5th I received a call asking if I had picked up his medication for coccidia Sporocysts. My reply was I was unaware of the issue. Her replay I was hoping you were not going to say that. And that it must have fallen through the cracks and wasn’t brought to my attention. The medication has been sitting there since March 29th. I has an appointment for may 24th to have him neutered but as of today I have canceled that we will never be returning there again. If I can’t trust them for one thing that has slipped through the cracks I’m surely not going to let them operate on my puppy!!!!!!!!!!

We've been a patient for over 20 years and have taken all my dogs here. The staff is so nice, they've stayed late for me so I can pick up medication, and they pass my messages and questions to the doctor, always a same day quick response! Dr. Brister has given my 15 year old Chihuahua amazing care and she is still happy and healthy!!

The staff was all very friendly and informed. However, they tried to get blood on my dog for a heartworm test 4 times (digging around as well) before I told them I didn't want him to be stuck with a needle again. I understand completely that it is tough to get blood sometimes and I have nothijng against the tech, but a reputable clinic will have a max on how many times they stick an animal for a routine test before asking someone to come in another time. This was unfair for my dog and I dont feel I should have had to step in. I respect a place more for looking at the comfort my dog over getting a routine annual test done that could wait.

The staff was all very friendly and informed. However, they tried to get blood on my dog for a heartworm test 4 times (digging around as well) before I told them I didn't want him to be stuck with a needle again. I understand completely that it is tough to get blood sometimes and I have nothijng against the tech, but a reputable clinic will have a max on how many times they stick an animal for a routine test before asking someone to come in another time. The veterinarians, and the entire staff are wonderful. I switched from Banfield to Cave Springs and I've never regretted it for a minute. The doctors are so caring and attentive to my two dogs' needs and will take all the time you need to answer your questions and explain everything to you. Everyone is so friendly and always enthusiastic about helping you with anything. You can tell they really care and they enjoy the service they provide.

Just went to my new patient visit (which is FREE minus any shots or nail trims you need...how nice!) with my cat, and I can see why this place gets such wonderful reviews. Everyone was so friendly and caring! They kept my little guy calm during the exam and shots, which to me is one of the most important things in a vet hospital. Plus, they have separate entrances for cats and dogs! I'm very happy with my choice of cat care.

Highly, highly recommend this place. They love my cats and are very professional. I see Dr. Brister and she treats my animal as if they were her own. Granted mine are scared every time, I know they are getting the proper care. Tried Spencer creek animal hospital and it was horrible. Cave springs is a definite must go to. Prices aren't bad, whereas Spencer creek was unbearable.

They have cared for four of our cats over the years and we would not take them anywhere else. They seem to love the pets that they care for. When we moved the St Louis area in 2007, we needed a vet for our kitties. At the time Cave Springs had a sign that one side of the business was "All Cats" - it was kismet. Dr Brister was fantastic with our cats as they grew older and eventually passed and has been just as wonderful with our new kittens. We trust her advice and her consult her for difficult pet-related decisions. The desk staff and other medical personnel are all super nice. I'd recommend this place for anyone (by the way, they do take non-cats, too).

I was very impressed with my visit to Cave Springs Pet Hospital for my dog's vaccine shots last week. They were very prompt, and I was put into an examination room and seen by the doctor within minutes of my arrival. The staff were all very professional, friendly, and helpful. My dog was very nervous but the doctor did wonderful with her. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vet clinic to a friend and plan on returning again for future visits whenever my dog needs medical care.

The staff is so nice, they've stayed late for me so I can pick up medication, and they pass my messages and questions to the doctor, always a same day quick response! The veterinarians, and the entire staff are wonderful. I switched from Banfield to Cave Springs and I've never regretted it for a minute. The doctors are so caring and attentive to my two dogs' needs and will take all the time you need to answer your questions and explain everything to you. Everyone is so friendly and always enthusiastic about helping you with anything. You can tell they really care and they enjoy the service they provide.

Just went to my new patient visit (which is FREE minus any shots or nail trims you need...how nice!) with my cat, and I can see why this place gets such wonderful reviews. Everyone was so friendly and caring! They kept my little guy calm during the exam and shots, which to me is one of the most important things in a vet hospital. Plus, they have separate entrances for cats and dogs! I'm very happy with my choice of cat care.

Highly, highly recommend this place. They love my cats and are very professional. I see Dr. Brister and she treats my animal as if they were her own. Granted mine are scared every time, I know they are getting the proper care. Tried Spencer creek animal hospital and it was horrible. Cave springs is a definite must go to. Prices aren't bad, whereas Spencer creek was unbearable.

We have been with Cave Springs for over 15 years. You will not find a more friendly, helpful and caring staff. The Doctors are wonderful and top notch. They have cared for four of our cats over the years and we would not take them anywhere else. They seem to love the pets that they care for. They send reminders and even pet birthday notices to your home.

When we moved the St Louis area in 2007, we needed a vet for our kitties. At the time Cave Springs had a sign that one side of the business was "All Cats" - it was kismet. Dr Brister was fantastic with our cats as they grew older and eventually passed and has been just as wonderful with our new kittens. We trust her advice and her consult her for difficult pet-related decisions. The desk staff and other medical personnel are all super nice. I'd recommend this place for anyone (by the way, they do take non-cats, too).

I was very impressed with my visit to Cave Springs Pet Hospital for my dog's vaccine shots last week. They were very prompt, and I was put into an examination room and seen by the doctor within minutes of my arrival. The staff were all very professional, friendly, and helpful. My dog was very nervous but the doctor did wonderful with her. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vet clinic to a friend and plan on returning again for future visits whenever my dog needs medical care.
