I have seen 2 different Vets at this office and everyone is very caring and thorough. The have a great team of vets who know what they are doing and take the time to explain things to you. So I was a little skeptical my first time coming to Creve Coeur Animal Hospital -- I had just moved to the area and needed a new vet, fast. My aussie is very fearful and reactive with new people/dogs and has always had terrible vet experiences. As this place was right next to my new apartment, I decided to take him here when he got really sick one morning (colitis). I met with Dr. Kemp, I believe, and she was the best vet I have ever taken him to! I have been training dogs pr...ofessionally for nearly five years now and have always been so disappointed with the lack of knowledge on canine behavior from the vets I've met -- Dr. Kemp was so, so patient with Koda and for the first time ever, he didn't even have to wear a muzzle! I have been going to Creve Coeur Animal Hospital since it was Everything Pets, and I can't say enough about them. The doctors are wonderful and so caring, as are the staff. When I had to put my first dog "down", at age 18, they were so gentle and sympathetic. I am now on dog #2 (she's 13 yrs. old now) and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. We recently went through a horrible time with our baby's ear but Dr. Chris did not give up. He was so kind, thoughtful and caring to both our dog AND us. We had a wonderful, happy ending to this dilemma, thanks to Dr. & staff. I take my Netherlands dwarf rabbit to see doctor Kemp. We love her. She's so sweet to him and its always nice to see her because she's so friendly. She always remarks about how handsome my rabbit is and keeps us from getting too worried. He's a healthy 6 year old rabbit now but when he was new we took him to see her and she told us we needed to do a test because he came from a pet store. It turned out to be what she thought and gave us antibiotics to keep him from developing an illness. Now he's a healthy and happy member of our family. Its been 5 years ago. So my advice is if there's a test Dr. Kemp wants you to do do it because she's a calm person and won't stress you out if your pet seems healthy. But if she ever feels that something is important I would listen to her and follow her advice. Other than that we've seen some of the other vets there when Dr. Kemp was pregnant and they've all been so nice and caring for my rabbit. Its a really good clinic. Especially if you have a rabbit. i rescued a neglected mini lop bunny to befriend my other lop mix bunny. when i realized that the new addition to my family wasn't eating because of overgrown teeth. (and i mean seriously overgrown) i instantly began finding reliable vets to take him to. i found creve coeur animal hospital who did a wonderful job trimming my bunnys teeth for me. he's now a totally different bunny! he loves to play tag and eats like a champ! one of the best vets in my opinion for small animals as well as cats and dogs! Dr. Moritz and his staff are wonderful. They're especially good with small animals like guinea pigs and rabbits. I had a guinea pig with a lot of health problems- they were great vets, but also very compassionate people. I now bring my new puppy to them, too. I can't imagine a better vet. Read Less

We are the proud new ferrants (ferret parents) of Charlotte and Rosita. We were referred over to CCAH by another animal hospital because CCAH is one of the only two animal hospitals in our area to carry a specific ferret vaccination (which is the exact vaccination we specially wanted for our new fuzzy butts). The staff here is incredibly thorough and compassionate including the veterinarian assistants and front desk staff. Although I typically see Dr. Kronk, I have also met with Dr. Kemp, Dr. Christopher Moritz and Dr. Christine Moritz. All have been excellent. I have been to several other animal hospitals over the years, and while I have no complaints about any of those places, they were not as outstanding as Creve Coeur Animal Hospital. Read Less

Dr. Kemp is wonderful. Our babies are rescues. we got them both at about 6 months old. Our girl, Ivy was born without her right eye and they had sewn the socket closed when they spade her. About a week after we brought her home, we noticed the stitching coming loose. We were concerned that it hadn't healed properly since they told us the stitches would dissolve over time. Dr. Kemp alleviated our fears and was very patient with our skittish pups. The staff is fantastic and we never have an issue scheduling appointments. I moved here about a year ago and have been bringing my yorkie to Creve Coeur for veterinary care, boarding, and grooming (with Amy's K-9 designs) ever since. Best. Decision. Ever. This practice consists of highly professional staff and expert vets and vet techs. In addition to giving my dog the best care, they treat us like family! My primary doctor is Dr. Chris Moritz. He clearly loves animals, and he is always patient, understanding, and willing to answer my (sometimes unending) questions. In addition, we have seen Dr. Kronk and Dr Sandberg...both of whom are equally fantastic. The techs and front desk staff are always kind and helpful. The boarding facility is awesome (I have had the opportunity to view it!) And they take detailed notes when I have to drop by dog off. The grooming services are top notch - they always make sure my little man looks his best. Highly recommend taking your pets to this practice!Read Less

Dr. Kemp is amazing with my rabbits and spends so much time with you. I never feel as if she is in a hurry and she takes the time to explain everything very clearly and her reasoning behind it. My daughters' Guinea Pig, Twinkie, was experiencing an eye problem.  I took her to see Dr. Kemp and she was GREAT!  Even though Twinkie's prognosis was not good with an Eye Ulcer, Dr. Kemp explained everything and was very thorough.  Even though Twinkie is a $35 Guinea Pig, she was treated like a queen!  I'm afraid Twinkie is fighting her last fight, Dr. Kemp prescribed meds to "keep her comfortable" and new antibiotics to fight what is more than just an eye ulcer.  I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kemp to anyone who has a pet from Exotic animals, like Twinkie, to your beloved pooch.  If we ever get a dog, we definately will bring it to Creve Coeur Animal Hospital and Dr. Kemp.Her assistants were great and very caring. I love taking my dogs to Creve Coeur Animal Hospital!  I've been going here for years, back when it was Everything Pets.  Throughout the years, I've worked at a few different animal facilities with their own vet so I used that vet while I worked there.  But I always go back to CCAH because there's just no comparison.  The vets here are amazing!  They're so friendly and know my pets when we come in.  The thing that really seals the deal for me is how willing they are to spend as much time with you answering questions and checking over your pet as is needed.  I've been to other vets who ran their hands over my dog for about 10 seconds, give them their shots, and left.  I felt like I couldn't really ask any questions because they were in a hurry to get out of the room.  I've never had this problem at CCAH.  Not only do they take plenty of time checking out your pet, but every single one of these vets will stay with you until every question you have has been answered.  I can't imagine having to find another vet as wonderful as this one! I decided to finally make the switch from our vet in Lake St. Louis and being services with CC Animal Hospital since I could almost throw a rock from my house to the front door. On our annual visit for Bailey we saw Dr. Kronk. Very nice and incredibly knowledgeable. He addressed all of my questions, the staff an the assistants during the exam were all very friendly. At the close of the visit I felt content with starting to see a new pet care provider and I appreciated them taking their time to discuss various products they carry, like heart worm pills and flea prevention. I've been taking my two cats here for years, back when it was run by the previous owner.I like the new owners; they're nice.  They treat my cats with great care.According to their website, they provide medicine and surgery for dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles and small mammals.  Luckily for me, I've never had to use their surgery services.
