This is the most caring vet clinic I've ever seen toward owners and animals. I can't express the love and care that Strafford vet shows for our animals. My little Mia got hit the other day while I was at work, I later found out that she had passed even though my mom tried to bring her in to save her for me. Strafford vet clinic sure knows how to make someone feel better in the hardest time of owning a pet... saying goodbye. They took the time to send me a letter that was a handwritten note inside about my beloved Mia passing away. Not only have hey taken care of my little MIA but many other of our dogs and cats as well, they are always reasonable and nice. Staff was great but Dr. Deadly as we call him, misdiagnosed several of our pets resulting in death. By the time we got to a Vet who knew what the problem was it was too late & we had to put our pet down. We have a friend whose bulldogs were killed while in the care of this place for routine procedures. This is all just my opinion but my opinion is the result of this poor excuse for a vet. Read Less

EXCELLENT!!! I CANNOT say enough good things about Dr. Mallard and his staff. They have saved our Bulldogs more than once. Our Pudgie girl just had to have a major emergency surgery and they got us in, no problem and the care was unbelievable. From the front desk to the doctor and techs...5 star service all the way around. We could not be more pleased. We drive an hour and a half because they are that fantastic. Despite moving their clinic this past weekend, they fit my Addie girl in for an emergency surgery with no questions asked... and then apologized for the construction work! They took incredible care of her and saved her life. Even with everything going on, they took their time explaining everything and we never felt rushed or in the way. I have been going to Strafford Vet for a few years, this past weekend was additional proof that they are wonderful! I have received calls from Dr. Mallard on the weekend checking up on my four legged kids, Joe knows me when I walk in. Dr. Sikes is very caring. You really can't beat them. Read Less

Again, couldn't ask for any better folks who love their job and reflect that in how they treat you. I often referred to my bulldog, Dozer, as "my special needs child", and these folks catered to all his special needs!! The staff is like extended family!! This veterinary service is amazing! The staff is very prompt in answering any questions and helping with any concerns. I've had no problems getting my babies in to see them. They treat my fur babies like what they are...family. I have recommended them to others and will continue to promote them. I drive a hour to see them and its worth the drive and time. Read Less

This place is outstanding. I came here because of an issue with one of my cats even though I live in Marshfield. I had read reviews of how great this vet office was and they were right. After all was said and done, I was given the wrong bag of meds and instead of me having to drive back to them, they brought the correct medication to me. That, to me, is fantastic customer service. This little boy was my life for the two years that I was blessed to have him. This may seem to late and I should have thanked all of you sooner. Thank you all for the care and love he received there. On May 30 I got my new fur baby to love. His name is Cooper and he is a 8 week old Chihuahua and he already has my heart. All of you sweet people I come to you to take care of this little man. By far the best vet we have ever dealt with! We have a small dog that hurt her back and called 2 or 3 vets to make an emergency appointment and no one would help and we called Strafford vet and they got us in within an hour ! Very friendly staff and awesome dr's I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great place for your pets ! Read Less

I took my cat here because he had urinary blockage and was in a lot of pain. I went there with the expectation that they would help him and I ended up paying them almost $200 for an exam, to collect urine, to test the urine and some other vet profile charge for $84 and I don't even know what that is. They told me that to give my cat a fluid IV, catheter, sedation, and a couple day stay would be $700-$900!!! They told me I had to pay that ridiculous amount or have him euthanized and I had to make a decision in the next 5 minutes because they closed at 5pm and it was 4:40 when I spoke to them over the phone. They wouldn't take a payment plan so I was forced to pick up my cat and pay them $176 for doing nothing but a urine test! I ended up calling the animal clinic in marshfield, told them what happened and they were appalled at how much strafford vet wanted to charge me and said they would do all of the procedures for around $200, if that much. DO NOT GO TO STRAFFORD VET CLINIC!!! They will rob you and do not care about your pet or your feelings. Forcing me to make a $ or death situation regarding my pet with a time limit of 5 minutes is disgusting and heartless. They only care about your $, not your pet!!! Read Less
