If I could give 10 stars, I would! Dr Bacon has been our vet for 17+ years. We are a multi-cat household with both purebreds (Himi/Persians, Ragdolls) & rescues. By multi-cat I mean no less than 7 & at times 13! Dr B has seen us through those whose time was cut short & those that have lived to the ripe old age of 20! He researches & keeps up on all the new treatments, continually improving his professional medical knowledge & breed knowledge. He takes the time to thoroughly explain what he sees & thinks, always willing to dig a little deeper to find solutions. We’ve gone through kidney stones, thyroid cancer, bone cancer, skin allergies, eye ulcers, teeth issues, tumors, & all the regular stuff too. He & his staff have laughed with us & cried with us, always thoughtful & caring. He gives you all the options, not just the ones that bring in $$. If the solution involved something they weren’t equipped to handle (like radiation for thyroid cancer), he gave us referrals to Drs that could & helped set things up. He’s compassionate & caring about us hoomans (we are owned by our cats) too. You could not ask for a better, more caring & knowledgeable vet than Dr Bacon & his staff. Their fees are reasonable and you more than get what you pay for in time, quality, knowledge & heartfelt caring.

From the moment I walked in the door they treated me and my animals with respect and love. My older dog had developed diabetes and went blind. They did all they could to help her but in the end I had put her down. They were so loving, kind, and supportive at that time. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. I definitely recommend Dr. Bacon and his entire staff at the Willard Veterinary Hospital. I will never take my animals anywhere else.

At the time I rated this, I was having a hard time trying to sort out my feelings! I had just recently lost one of the best friends I every had. With that being said, I must say I could have not handled the loss of our dog without the wonderful staff and Dr. Bacon, they helped me through some hard decisions!! I still bring my other dogs here even when I lived far away, I stayed with this group! Not only are they good with their clients but they are wonderful to their humans as well!! Thank you Dr. Bacon and staff! If you are looking for a great place to care for your best friend, I would recommend this place!

I'm so thankful to Willard Vet Hospital. They squeezed me in today after my puppy being sick off and on for 5 days, and me calling them in a panic this morning. Their office was super busy (they were using their waiting area and Dr. Bacon's office to get started with pets) but as always the entire staff was friendly and helpful. On top of that even with a packed office my dog was seen right on time, got a full office visit, and Dr. Bacon and the vet techs heard my concerns, and answered every single question I had. If you've got pups or cats and need a new vet I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this office. I live in Springfield, and have driven to Willard for 5 years now for my 5 year old dog and 1 year old puppy. I will continue to use Willard Vet Hospital without a second thought. My puppy is on the road to recovery, and I can't imagine ever getting a new vet office. Thankful for my dogs, and for the staff that loves my dogs as much as I do! Thank you Dr. Bacon, and of course the entire staff at Willard Vet Hospital for all you do!

From the moment I walked in the door they treated me and my animals with respect and love. My older dog had developed diabetes and went blind. They did all they could to help her but in the end I had put her down. They were so loving, kind, and supportive at that time. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. I definitely recommend Dr. Bacon and his entire staff at the Willard Veterinary Hospital. I will never take my animals anywhere else.
