Back in October of 2017 my fiancé was getting home from work and when he got out of his vehicle came a very sick underdeveloped kitten begging for help , he had so much dried eye mucus he couldn’t even see and thankfully, Zack, saw him and brought him in and we fed him and tried to clean him a little for the night, he was exchausted, see so we took him in for the night and knew we had to get him in to the vet some how the next day and when we went to the Caring Hands Vet in Billings MT, without an appointment, they fit us in and were very understanding and we were able to save his life !! They are wonderful my wife and I brought are dog bandit in he had swelling on the brain and they did every thing they could for him and use then they told use we could put him down do to him and walking or eating or any thing or take him home and see if it changes so they helped by telling be what I would need a safe space baby food and so on and yes I took him home with us and two weeks later he was walking and eating not solid food yet but he was eating and walking not a straight line that is for shore but he came back from it thanks to caring hands. This did happen over summer but still. I want to thank them. He is happy and fully healthy. And so are we happy we have are bandit. Read Less

Such a fantastic group of people, you can tell they all enjoy their work and they put the animals first. We could not have asked for a better group of people to care for our pups. My experience was great! I had our 17 week old Blue Heeler's hearing tested. The vet was so helpful in explaining the results of the test. The assistants were all willing to help out in holding Dusty through the procedure. The vet office was clean and well supplied with special dog foods, collars and leashes.The staff was very friendly and professional. I felt welcomed even though it was my first visit. Read Less

I have been taking my group to Dr Kuehn for years, matter of fact we are on our second group now.  However, her front desk leaves much to be desired.  They had a girl named Emily who was supposed to be training to help out Darlene (front desk extrodinaire), her fave thing to tell you was that she'd leave a message for the vet.  And then you'd never hear from them.  We are talking messages about highly important concerns.  Emily lasted far too long there and I was not far off from transferring to another clinic.  Now they have a new girl who apparently can't tell the difference between a hairless female and a maltese/min schnauzer and nearly derailed a vacation.  The best part is when the boarding receptionist called over to them on the fecal test and she responded that we hadn't had one done on anybody.  The last time they had the test was when they were puppies.  I blew a gasket, not ashamed to say.  I paid for fecal tests on all three dogs, got the results from all three dogs, they promised they'd send the results over to the boarding location and best of all.  Both of my girls came to us as adults.  WTH!!!   I would give them a 3 star or less but I do like my vet.  If I can just get past the front desk without damage to my group. I haven't been able to go to the clinic for awhile, because I moved away, but still try to go if I'm back in town. When I lived in Billigs it was the only Vet Clnic I would use. They have a very friendly and caring staff. Dr Kuehn the best. Read Less

I love the fact that they are open on Saturdays since that is usually when something happens. Although I would pay an emergency fee, it's nice that I wouldn't have to If something happened on Saturday. They are very caring and friendly to my dog. Read Less

We took one of our cats to Caring Hands for a Lion cut. The shave was very uneven which is not that big of deal since hair grows back. But they nicked my cat's left leg and didn't even bother to mention anything when we picked her up. We saw the cuts when we got home. When we called and asked about it, the person did the cut said "he didn't like the medicine we gave him very much and he was moving around a lot when I shaved the left leg...". First of all, it's a she; and secondly, whaaaaat? The whole point of giving her meds before the cut is so she can be relaxed, sleepy and not traumatized by the experience. If she wasn't ready, why not wait until she was before the buzzing started? Urrg. Caring Hands? Don't think they care. Never again!!!!!!!! Read Less

I was referred to this vet by my hairdresser and it turned out to be as great as she said it would be. I still am giving it 5 stars, in spite of one receptionist with a lack of communication skills; an older lady in her 60's or 70's. Though, one bad worker does not ruin the business, I wasn't there to argue. I was there to pick up my cat and pay for the services that they provided him. But other than that, I feel they genuinely care about the pets they see. "Caring Hands" is a very fitting title that they have. They're definitely one of the best vets in Billings.
