We have had the privilege of caring for the pets of our clients' children and grandchildren for over forty years. We not only provide wellness and preventative medicine, but are equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic, dental and surgical facilities. Our focus in on ensuring your pet enjoys a healthy, active life at every stage.

Taking my dog to Community Pet Hospital was a HUGE mistake. The vet techs were brainless and the actual vet couldn't run the appointment by herself. My dog was afraid. Why? Because the vet techs were forcing him on the elevating table and pinning him down. They brought four extra workers into the room to pin him to the table. Newsflash, no dog would like that. That is not ethical, nor is it appropriate. The vet and vet tech should have let him sniff the room, meet each person individually, and get treats. They were rushing everything and he could feel the vet techs uneasiness. Not to mention, they kept calling him, "SHE" whin HIS name is "Finley." Know your patients and know how to do your job. If I could give them negative stars, I would. We will never be returning and I hope no family will ever have this traumatizing experience. Oh and just so reviewers know, the vet techs made my dog poop uncontrollably on the table. This has never happened to my dog before. He is the happiest and nicest dog I have ever met. Congratulations Community Pet Hospital for being the worst vet in Billings, MT.

All my dogs and cats have been patients of Dr Root over the last 30 years. We’ve been through all the ups and downs that go with loving and caring for our pets. Dr Root and staff have always been there for us and gone out of their way to provide knowledgeable advice and excellent care. I wouldn’t take my furry kids anywhere else!

Always, ALWAYS the best care. Been going there for 21+ years. Vet care is always expensive no matter where you go. However, I do feel their prices are more reasonable AND they do care. I have never had any of my pets be apprehensive about going to see them, as a matter of fact, they seem to enjoy it. I really think it's due to the people and the loving care they provide.

Great service, prices, and hours. My chocolate lab had an infection in her ear and rather than being annoyed that I was in when most places were closed and late in the day, they took her in like she was a part of their family. Diagnosed, treated, and on our way within budget. Awesome.

They used to be preety good, customer service and their pricing. however since they changed ownership, everything went down the hill.
a simple Rabies shot ended up costing $95. ofcourse, i was shocke...
They used to be preety good, customer service and their pricing. however since they changed ownership, everything went down the hill.
a simple Rabies shot ended up costing $95. ofcourse, i was shocked. so i asked them to explain the charges thinking there has to be an error. The girl behind the counter got offended/defensive. gave me a pcs of paper with some charges. I requested her to explain the charges. it said, Vacination + Checkup $95. had no choice but to pay the bill. this is after my gf called them up to confirm their pricing. and was quoted $45. I never asked for a checkup. They have to do a checkup before giving the shot, atleast thats what was explained to me. and so they have to charge.
upon doing further research on the pricing and customer service, i called a few places in town. excat same thing could have costed me $23 with free checkup with better explanation of the bill.

Always, ALWAYS the best care. Been going there for 21+ years. Vet care is always expensive no matter where you go. However, I do feel their prices are more reasonable AND they do care. I have never had any of my pets be apprehensive about going to see them, as a matter of fact, they seem to enjoy it. I really think it's due to the people and the loving care they provide.

I've been going to Community Pet Hospital for 14 years with my dog. We are always greeted by name. We have been through simple check ups, routine procedures and emergencies. I feel that the veterinarians and staff are very caring and as invested in the well-being of my dog as I am. I would highly recommend them with absolutely no hesitation.
