Beartooth Veterinary Services

Laurel, Montana
General Info
Beartooth Veterinary Services is nestled in the hearts of pet owners and offers quality, thought-out services. Beartooth Veterinary Services delivers the animal behavior-based services families need to ensure their pets’ wellbeing in Laurel. This company does so by giving clear guidance throughout Montana. During the first appointment, clinic specialists check several key behavioral indicators such as rest time, food drive, toy interest, social responsiveness, and body language. The examination process requires the team to look at the joints’ flexibility together with the coat condition, measure ear sensitivity and muscle tension together with hydration levels and gum health, and check whether eyes are clear. If the dog starts avoiding physical contact and prefers to stay on one floor in a two-story house, it is time to think ahead. Beartooth Veterinary Services offers a wide range of services, from wellness scheduling with preventive screenings and bloodwork to dental reviews. Additionally, orthopedic care alongside behavior-informed treatment paths is available for pets. Recommendations will change based on your lifestyle, i.e., apartment vs. Yard space, single vs. multiple pets multi-pet households, or travel-heavy lifestyles. Instead of strictly following a set schedule, the team adjusts the care rhythm based on each pet’s personality and attention span as well as household routines. Throughout extended periods, it builds a detailed picture of the pet’s behavior and baseline health and hones its recommendations according to family priorities. The evaluation of energy levels and sound responses together with appetite changes will facilitate the implementation of a caregiving plan which is not only operationally effective but also emotionally sensitive. Beartooth Veterinary Services aims to assist families in Laurel and neighboring Montana regions by establishing veterinary practices that align with lifestyle and psychological preferences, so visits can be more stable. The practice offers a wide range of services such as Vaccinations, Oncology, Grooming, Boarding, and Acupuncture among others. These services aid pets at all life stages, from regular wellness to advanced medical care. Pet owners appreciate the team’s professional approach and how the clinic communicates medical decisions regarding their animals. And the consistency of service delivery to respect and show genuine concern for pet owners’ needs. The clinic also provides pet owners with knowledge and advice on how to implement preventive strategies for their animals’ health. Beartooth Veterinary Services’ participation in community life creates a firm basis for responsible pet ownership. New and returning customers appreciate the establishment’s atmosphere, which keeps pace with today’s standards.

Took one of my dogs into them on an emergency type situation. My dog had come up paralyzed in her rear legs. The vet must have been overwhelmed by the fact my dogs are hairless because he told me to put her to sleep because there was a "mass" pushing against her spine or I could take her to Billings to the emergency vet on Grand. After rescuing her from them too I finally got into my regular vet a couple days later and it was decided that I needed to keep her quiet for 6wks and let the spine heal. And that so called "mass"? It was a kidney, she had floating kidneys. So glad I didn't listen to him or that ER vet!The reason I'm not rating them lower is that I did get the feeling the guy is a good vet, plus they took in one of my other dogs when he decided to take a walk around town. Krayton Kerns, DMV, refused to pass legislation to outlaw spectators and minors attending dog fights. He also wants silencers legalized on hunting guns. He is not someone I would trust my pets to, considering having people, including children, watch animals maul each other to death for gambling and drug pursuits is acceptable to this "doctor," I would suggest a clinic with vets that actually care about animals, rather than protecting the exploitation and abuse of them.
