I used to love this place and until now I would have recommended them. I left my guinea pigs there when I went on vacation in May. When I called beforehand to see what boarding for 2 pigs in the same cage would cost I was told $11.00 per day. When I picked them up they charged me double what I was told. Later I was told by another employee that they did charged me wrong and she would talk to her boss. He told her since I already paid they won't do anything. I will never go back there with my pigs or any future animals I may get. He knows they charged me wrong but not willing to make it right. Evidently they don't have a conscious or any principles.

I take my pitbull and my english bulldog here and both my babies love the employees. I never have a problem getting an appointment for when i need it, they are very accommodating to my schedule and if they can't get my exact date and time they get as close as possible. I can and have called to ask questions and they help me out with exactly the answers i need right away and if they dont know them they either ask me to hold and go get them or call me right back with them. The employees are very kind, caring, and personable to me and my pets during the appointments, i have never left an appointment confused or upset. They also are conscious of your financial status(if you tell them) and are great about working to find a cost effective solution for you.

My yellow lab started limping and I took her to the vet I had been going to in a different town for several years. The new guy there seemed to not care much and didn't seem to even listen to what I was saying concerning the sudden onset of limping. The next day I called AMC asking for an appointment with Dr. Pettit and they got me in. He did a thorough head to toe exam and did exactly what I felt should have been done. He truly does care about animals and the owners and this will be the vet I come to from now on. Thank you AMC!

We came to the Animal Medical Clinic for our lab's ACL surgery. We love our current vet but the surgery cost was double what most were quoting. We wanted to give our girl the best care we could but also for the best price we could. Dr. Pettit came recommended by a few friends, and after referrals and prayer we went with him for Remi's surgery. She has been home since yesterday, and so far we are very pleased with Dr. Pettit and the staff. Remi is in a cast for a couple weeks and has a while to recover, but she already seems to be feeling better. Dr. Pettit gave us an update phone call after surgery, and explained things to us when we picked her up. We had questions this morning, and I got a prompt call back from the office with answers. I feel good that we made the right choice, and though we love our current vet, may consider switching!

Have been taking my cat to be groomed and her regular visits for a couple years. Late one Friday night my can't got a 3 inch cut on her stomach only cutting layers of her skin open. I paid $170 for anabiotic shot, a sedative and a plastic collar. My husband asked if they were going to clean the wound and he was told that he needed to pay $500 in order to get that done. So my cat went home with an unclean wound no stitches or anything extra but exactly what I said we got for $170. My husband asked again are you going to or can you at least clean it and they said no you're not paying for that. So for the next seven days I spent flushing my cats wound out so that she could heal. Then they had the nerve to call me and asked me how she was doing. I said you got to be kidding me I didn't pay for this phone call so why are you calling me. I will never take my cat or any pet I own there again. Parent Lee they're more worried about money then they are compassion for your pet.

We had an emergency with our labrador retriever while visiting family in Fremont and went to Animal Medical Clinic after two other vets turned us away because they were too busy. Animal Medical said on the phone call "We have a full schedule, but this is an emergency, right? Come in."
The care was excellent. My dog was in pain and very scared, and the calm and patient demeanor of the techs and vet helped put her (and me) at ease. The vet clearly explained the treatment plan and the medications my dog would need. The vet even gave us a way to contact her after-hours in case something came up. They made room for a follow up visit before we returned to Texas to make sure she was healing nicely. About a week later, they called just to see how my dog was progressing.
I strongly recommend Animal Medical Clinic. It is clear to me that they care deeply about the welfare of their patients and love what they do.

We brought Hero to his first puppy check up. It was Amazing!! Staff was kind. Even though I was late I got no glares, no chastising waiting period, and no unkind remarks. We were kindly and swiftly taken back to "THE ROOM" Hero shaking like a leaf and me with my ten page mental notes for the past two weeks. Within a few short seconds Hero forgot he was scared and I forgot my list. We learned so much and are better equipped to enjoy a long and happy friendship. I used to love this place and until now I would have recommended them. I left my guinea pigs there when I went on vacation in May. My yellow lab started limping and I took her to the vet I had been going to in a different town for several years. The new guy there seemed to not care much and didn't seem to even listen to what I was saying concerning the sudden onset of limping. We came to the Animal Medical Clinic for our lab's ACL surgery. We love our current vet but the surgery cost was double what most were quoting. We wanted to give our girl the best care we could but also for the best price we could. Dr. Pettit came recommended by a few friends, and after referrals and prayer we went with him for Remi's surgery. She has been home since yesterday, and so far we are very pleased with Dr. Pettit and the staff. Remi is in a cast for a couple weeks and has a while to recover, but she already seems to be feeling better. Dr. Pettit gave us an update phone call after surgery, and explained things to us when we picked her up. We had questions this morning, and I got a prompt call back from the office with answers. Our cat Snickers is difficult when around new people. The staff at Animal Medical Clinic are so good with her. They do care about your animals and want the best for them.

We had an emergency with our labrador retriever while visiting family in Fremont and went to Animal Medical Clinic after two other vets turned us away because they were too busy. Animal Medical said on the phone call "We have a full schedule, but this is an emergency, right? Come in."
The care was excellent. My dog was in pain and very scared, and the calm and patient demeanor of the techs and vet helped put her (and me) at ease. The vet clearly explained the treatment plan and the medications my dog would need. The vet even gave us a way to contact her after-hours in case something came up. They made room for a follow up visit before we returned to Texas to make sure she was healing nicely. About a week later, they called just to see how my dog was progressing.
I strongly recommend Animal Medical Clinic. It is clear to me that they care deeply about the welfare of their patients and love what they do.

I had been taking Tigger (male Dachshund) to them for 8 years for all his vaccinations, dental work and medical treatment and the service and atmosphere was always exceptional and caring.I recently had to put him down due to back issues. They gave me sufficient time to say goodbye and did not make me feel rushed. I do recommend them if you care about your companion and want quality caring service for them.

The staff are so attentive, gentle, and compassionate. ..with the dedicated care of the vets I was able to keep my springer Van comfortably living 5 years longer than expected and during my miniature schnauzer Joey's sudden fatal illness the care and concern ...and honesty ...made his passing over the Rainbow Bridge much easier for us both. I continue to recommend the Clinic to pet owners .

We brought Hero to his first puppy check up. It was Amazing!! Staff was kind. Even though I was late I got no glares, no chastising waiting period, and no unkind remarks. We were kindly and swiftly taken back to "THE ROOM" Hero shaking like a leaf and me with my ten page mental notes for the past two weeks. Within a few short seconds Hero forgot he was scared and I forgot my list. We learned so much and are better equipped to enjoy a long and happy friendship. My other pets will be coming here to see Dr. Lurz. Thank you.

I can't say enough good things about this place. We've taken our dogs here for years and it's been an A+ experience every time. We recently moved to Omaha but still make the trip back because of the quality of service. Dr. Jeri is phenomenal with the dogs, you always feel comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands and the staff has always been very professional. I'd highly recommend bringing your pets here!

They take the BEST care of my fur babies, especially my black lab who has epilepsy and arthritis, and he doesn't always make it easy for them! I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

Had to have our cat put down do to serious illness. They were caring and gave us time to say goodbye. Wonderful and caring!
