Everyone at Tender Care is exceptional. They took care of my "boys" until the end of their lives. Sadly, I recently had to say goodbye to my two dogs within a 2 month period. The Vets (Shelly G. and Turner) were with us at the end, their compassion and respect for the dogs as well as myself was appreciated beyond words. After much research (many vet clinics ... really) we found Dr. Enita Larson and interviewed her. Immediately I knew she was the vet for our pack. She listened and advises clearly. And if she doesn't know the answer she actively searches for an answer, whether its locally or at major vet colleges. Her staff is THE best. They have taken fantastic care of all of our dogs. Have known Dr.Enita personally and professionally for many years-- Worked for her and with her, babysat her growing babes, and developed such an amazing relationship w her! Her insight, knowledge, skill, and professionalism are top notch! My 3 pups love her just as much as I do and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur babies! Love her and her staff so much! Friends... My mom mothers cat was accidentally hit and his back was broken. My heartbroken mother called the vet here in Gretna to see if she could bring him in to put him down and was told they don't do emergency appointments and could not fit him in. People please do not take your animals to Tender Care Animal Hospital!! I called my vet who was more than accommodating and kind to my mother. It says ALOT about a vet clinic who would turn away a client and a suffering animal! Please do yourself a favor and find a vet you know won't let your animal down!!!! Read Less

We have taken our lab to Tender Care for 5 years, since he was 9 weeks old. We have received OUTSTANDING service every time. In fact I have been so impressed with how professional the staff and Doctors are that I suggested my daughter apply to work there. She did and it was a wonderful experience. We having been taking our dog to Tender Care for the last year and have received outstanding service. The staff has always been remarkably friendly and courteous and we've always been able to get in right away. Our dog was recently diagnosed with a terminal, progressive disease which requires monitoring. The vet has personally called me to give me the results of all lab work every time, and has taken the time to thoroughly answer my questions, without ever rushing me. I first went to TCAH out of convenience when we first moved to NE. Now I live 30 minutes away but still make the trip there for all our vet needs.I'm a dog trainer & dog breeder so I am VERY picky about our veterinary services. Going on 5 years of TCAH continuing to earn my frequent & repeated business. The prices are very reasonable, the services excellent & the vets & staff are the main reason I keep going back! Though the vet is professional and competant, the reception staff strong-arms you to order more and more various services at every opportunity, even threatening you to no longer sell you more products (e.g., heartworm meds) without a test (1-800-petmeds solves this). Furthermore, they try their best to nickle and dime you. e.g., weighing and reweighing your pet to charge the higher charge for a service when the threshold is 50lbs-- and your pet weighs 49.4lbs.
