Animal Care Clinic

Lincoln, Nebraska
General Info
The veterinary appointments at Animal Care Clinic in Lincoln develop through co-regulation where synchronized pauses, slowed movement, and shared breathing help families throughout Nebraska. The arrangement of the room elements promotes a sense of stillness. The arrangement of chairs intentionally creates gaps to minimize stress. Exam tables modify their positions to enhance access and visibility. Staff members assess caregiver breathing patterns along with vocal tones and eye movements before interacting with the pet because animals tend to seek cues from their human counterparts. The deliberate application of silence occurs purposefully. The optimal approach to initiating care in certain situations involves waiting so the dog or cat can reflect decelerated rhythms prior to intervention. Animal Care Clinic offers a range of integrative services that include organ diagnostics alongside pain threshold analysis and allergy identification as well as hydration status exams and energy-based wellness assessments when deemed suitable. The schedule includes visit timing because morning animals handle more activity while evening creatures require initial quiet observation. The interaction dynamics with anxious dogs benefit from lower-pitched voices while feline startle responses diminish through narrowed frequency bands. Following their visits pet owners obtain instructions that use tone and rhythm to determine when to speak softly or step away and when to position their pets in sunlight or allow them to rest in enclosed darkness. These patterns support physical and emotional return to baseline. Animal Care Clinic entwines the neural networks of pets with their owners across Lincoln and Nebraska to deliver veterinary services that maintain both clinical precision and emotional connectedness.

We have been coming here for years, our entire family has and we loved it! We loved the staff and how they loved our fur babies as much as we do and the prices were always very reasonable. We got the letter in the mail awhile back about the clinic switching hands and were very sad, but thought we'd stay anyway....BIG mistake today we took 2 of our dogs in for shots and grooming and the bill was absolutely outrageous! Thank goodness we only took 2 in....needless to say this amount was NOT in our budget. We will now be finding a new clinic and groomer we are absolutely heartbroken as this is the only place our fur babies have ever known! Read Less

I've had good experiences here in the past, but not pleased at all with this last one. I spent quite a bit of money to receive no diagnosis one day and then am rudely turned away by the receptionist another. It seems there are too many clients for this clinic to handle and getting in for a time sensitive, but simple issue is now impossible. I am now forced to spend additional money to start over at another clinic or let my animal suffer till they have time for us. Not a fun decision. This is not the first time this has happened either. I have been taking my dogs to this clinic for years. They have done so much for me. Their staff is very friendly and caring. The doctors have gone to great lengths to ensure that my dogs have lived their full life expectancy. I'm not sure what happened with the one bad review but it sounds like she is talking about two different circumstances. So I don't know if there just wasn't good communication with this case or what. I will definately continue to take all of my present and future pets here! Read Less

I have been taking my pet to this clinic for over a year now. I thought I was doing the right thing. He had a lump on his chest, rather small to begin with. I took him to this vet, and was told that by looking at it, this was a fatty deposit. I took the word of the vet. With in the next couple of months the lump began to grow rapidly and become hard. More than doubled in size. I took him back to have it removed, and was told at the time of removal that it was not malignant. I spent one more year with my baby. Just last week he went from showing no signs of illness to having a giant lump appear around his abdomen. It appeared with in a day, and he became very ill. I took him in, the vet took a blood test and said that all organs were working perfect, and the spleen would be removed, and that it wasn't cancer. In less than a half an hour after surgery started, I recieved a phone call telling me that his body was riddled with cancer and we could put him back together where he would die in pain within 2 days, or let him go on the table. I chose to let him go, i didn't want him to be in pain. He was 9 years old. It bothered me that he died so quick and of cancer which i was told he didn't have. I asked the vet 2 days ago after doing research about fatty deposits and tumors, whether he biopsied the lump (removed a year ago), and he said no he could tell by just looking at it. A year a go i could have started treatment, but i took the word of this vet, and my baby died before his time. Don't let this happen to your pet. Do the research, get a second opinion. Biopsy! don't take the i know what it looks like so that's what it is analysis. I hope this is helpful for others. Thank you. - Heartbroken. Read Less
