Mulder Veterinary Hospital

Dr. Mulder and her staff are always fantastic! I've taken my dog Angus to her since I got him as a puppy two and a half years ago. Since day one, Dr. Mulder has been a wonderful vet, helping me as a new dog owner and treating Angus (who has been rather healthy, thankfully). I couldn't ask for a better experience from the staff, either - they are always friendly, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. VERY reasonable prices and BETTER CARE than other, more expensive vets! Dr. Judy (and the staff) actually care about your pets, not just making a profit. I will never take my dog anywhere else! We've been going to Mulder for about 6 years. Love, love, love them! Read Less

If you are looking for a fancy office with a nice waiting area, this isn't for you, but if you are looking for a great Vet and staff that you can feel confident will care for your pet, it's perfect. I moved to Lincoln from Michigan where I thought I had a great vet. The first time I walked in, with a smile said 'this must be Haus?' that's refreshing to know they take the time to remember the name of the pet that they had on the schedule. She also called me after hours to give test results. For those that complain it takes too long for an appointment, I believe that any great vet will pose this issue.Read Less

My husband and I moved from Chicago and away from our veterinarian that we knew and loved for many years. The process of finding somebody with equal knowledge and compassion seemed pretty daunting, but our first visit to Mulder VH put our minds and hearts at ease immediately. Dr. Judy is just WONDERFUL and her staff is the best. I am very particular so I visited almost all of the vets listed in the greater Lincoln area to see how a cat/dog wellness check would go, as well as to meet the vet(s)/staff. Lincoln does have some great vets- but our family has chosen Mulder Vet Hospital. They were quite simply- THE BEST!! We have found our forever vet and we feel very blessed to have that moving "hurdle" tackled.Read Less

Just paid a visit to Dr. Judy Mulder today with two of my kitties and I was very pleased! It was so hard to leave my vet back in Arizona I thought for sure that every veterinarian thereafter would be a bit of a let down, but not the case today!Dr. Mulder's office brings me back to my childhood memories of taking my pets to the local small town veterinarian office. Not a chain vet office or one with multiple practitioners, just a little privately owned place with a "home" feel. This is what Dr. Mulder's office is like. Her staff is so caring and compassionate. Offering to help everyone out to their car with their pets, greeting you when you come in, and of course adoring your pets! Dr. Mulder herself was exactly the way a family veterinarian should be. She was very affectionate with my kitties, had read up on all their medical history I had sent to her, and performed a very good exam including clipping their nails and cleaning their ears (usually extra charges at other places). She took time to look at anything and everything I asked as well as happily listened to me jabber on about this cat and that cat and their personalities. I was also pleased to find out that Dr. Mulder makes housecalls for euthanasia. This was very hard to find in Arizona and as my kitty is nearing the end of her life this was a huge relief to me, to know that someone who has been caring for her will be there with me when the time comes. The fees were unbeatable. 40ish for an exam and only 95 for a full blood panel?? I was paying nearly 200.00 for a blood panel on my old lady kitty every 6 months in Arizona and today my bill was 200 for two excellent exams, medication, and a blood draw! This office is a gem, don't pass it up for a bigger fancier place ;) Read Less

My husband's family has been going to Dr. Mulder for decades. He and I have been taking our 7-year-old over-sized rottweiler and our little 3-year-old terrier to this veterinarian clinic since our "babies" were born, and I can't say enough good things about everyone who works there. The receptionists are always kind and do their best to fit us in when it's most convenient for us. The assistants are wonderful at holding the dogs in a firm but gentle way, which calms them down. Dr. Mulder always knows just what she's doing and I trust her every time we go in. Our rottweiler just loves her and smiles the whole time, even while he's getting vaccinations and being inspected all over. The clinic is a short walk from our house, and our dogs are always overwhelmingly excited as soon as they realize where we're heading (maybe because they always get a doggie biscuit on the way out!). Please give Dr. Mulder a try if you're looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy veterinarian. You won't be disappointed!Read Less

One of the best places in Lincoln! I have loved the care that is given to my dogs at Dr. Mulder's office. The staff is attentive to my dogs and to myself. They all give very personal care from puppyhood and until that time comes when you need to make some trying decisions. She is very reasonable and offers excellent care over the phone as well. Dr. Mulder and her staff are great! My dog never enjoys his trips to the vet, but the team at Mulder Vet. do absolutely everything they can to make it tolerable for my little guy. Highly recommend stopping at the pet shop next door as well. Read Less

Dr. Judy Mulder and her staff are wonderful, caring and make you and your pets feel like family.  I've been taking my pets there (three cats and one dog) for the last eight years and Judy has taken very good care of all them and of me, too!  She knows her stuff, and she shares her knowledge freely and with good cheer.  Her prices are so reasonable, I was shocked at what she charges, as it was a fraction of what I'd paid in the Twin Cities.Mulder Veterinary Hospital's only downside is that Judy is the only vet practicing there, so they're not open as late as some other vets in town.  But for my money, Judy's care, compassion and expertise can't be beat. I have been bringing my two cats to this place for the last month.  The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the vet is wonderful with my pets.  The staff is fairly small, and they already recognize me when I walk in.  In addition to great service, the prices here are very reasonable.  I highly recommend visiting this place.
