Yankee Hill Vet Hospital is a great place to take your pet. I am so grateful to the staff at Yankee Hill Vet. We've gone there since we got my puppy in November but my puppy recently went through a pretty traumatic experience. He was so sick, not eating or drinking, and we didn't know what was going on. Yankee Hill took him in and gave him great care, eventually discovering what was wrong and sending my puppy to the emergency clinic for emergent surgery. Yankee Hill followed up with us after the surgery and provided wonderful post op care. Dr. Knudson, Dr. Brown, and all the staff really care about your pet and do a great job explaining what's going on and what interventions they are providing. They went above and beyond for my puppy Timmy and my family and I are so grateful. I highly recommend this place and have been telling all my friends about the great care Yankee Hill Vet Hospital provides. Read Less

The doctors and staff at Yankee Hill Vet clinic go above and beyond for pets and pet owners. They care for each pet like they were one of their own. They have gotten us in and given the help that was needed even on a holiday! They will take the time to explain things thoroughly so you can understand what needs to be done or what is happening with your fur baby. We took our standard poodle to Yankee Hill after having a bad experience with another vet in town. He was taken care of very well and we were quite pleased with each of the vets we saw. When we finally had to put down our beloved pet, the care we got during the procedure was so comforting and peaceful. What a blessing to have kind, thoughtful care even at the end. The doctors and staff are extremely caring and understanding, especially to the humans. I would highly recommend them. We were in town visiting my grandmother and our dog had been dealing with an anal gland issue for a couple weeks. We had visited other vets (spent quite a bit of money) and she still wasn't healing. She looked to be getting worse so we called around a few other vets in the Lincoln area and was sort of brushed aside and told they were too busy with no suggestion as to where else to go. When we called Yankee Hill they were so sweet and accommodating. They let us bring her in right away. The receptionist, nurse, and doctor were all very attentive and caring. They were very reasonably priced and now am happy to say Josie is doing a world better. I think I will make this my permanent vet even though we live in California it will give us more reason to make our way to Lincoln to visit the grandma. Read Less

Several years ago, I had a very sick elderly dog. The vet she had seen for years refused to see her. It was almost closing time, I had no appointment, and had never came to Yankee Hill Vet before. Dr. Brown told me to bring my dog in and spent 2 hours with her. Under his care, my dog was given another 3 years of happy life and lived to to be 15 1/2. I have had animals my entire life, and I have never met a Vet and vet office staff that are so caring, so dedicated and absolutely willing to help you with anything and everything. I can get appointments the day I call, I can talk to the vet on the phone, I can talk to office staff, get meds the same day I call the list goes on and on. I called for advice and to pick up medicine, and I arrive to a Doctor eager to help me, he had printed off a packet of information for me to read and and told me the cheapest place to get what my dog needed. If the people who work here ever have a bad day, it never shows. I have never once felt like they were in a hurry. The doctor has brought out books and illustrations to better explain things to me. He is amazing. My dog is not the best dog to be around at the vets office, he gets very nervous but the Dr's and staff are AMAZINGLY patient with him. On his first visit, we stayed 15 min later then our appointment because the vet was playing with him, and giving him treats to get him comfortable. What a great, great, fantastic place. Dr. Hank Cerny and staff go above and beyond in EVERY aspect of the practice. When my family moves out of state in the near future I will find a way to come back to this vets office. Every animal of mine will know this vet. I think they are very reasonable in price, and especially for the exceptional service with every visit. Read Less

After taking our dog to another vet and getting told she had cancer we were devasted. I talked to Dr. Brown and he was very questionable about her diagnosis and suggested bringing our dog in for a 2nd opinion. He did x-rays and a biopsy and explained everything in great detail. They discovered our dog did not have cancer after all!! Dr. Brown and the staff at Yankee Hill Vet are exceptional. They understand how important your animals are to you. Their knowlegde and equipment is also superior to other vets I've been to. I would recomend this office to anyone who loves their pets!! Read Less
